I use this backpack for my daily commute. I love it's chic, attractive design. I get lots of compliments. I just wish it was a little bigger.

I bought this charmer to use for day trips on an expedition cruise in the North Sea. It squashed nicely into my carry on and was my go to once I arrived. Journal, waterbottle, knitting, sunscreen, chocolates, tissues. Perfect! Not bulky and always a little more room for something acquired along the way. Easy to handle and looks chic too. Back in Chicago I will use it when I bike the Lake Shore trail. My new best friend.

Perfect size! Have taken this on several hikes now in Arizona and can fit exactly what I need. Love the rose gold stitching as well.

While I can understand peoples views in the comments regarding the size of it, I personally think it's perfect considering it's labeled "MINI Borealis". A miniature or scaled down version of a backpack is not going to hold your typical 8 1/2 x 11 size college school books It's perfect for holding Moleski notebooks, tablets, small clothing articles and things of that nature. Really the only things I would prefer more of in my opinion are a zipper pocket on one of the shoulder straps like how the sling version has, and a felt interior pocket like how the sling has. Other than that I absolutely love this item.

Super impressed with this purchase. It's a mini backpack but perfect size for me (being 5"3) without being TOO mini. A lot of mini backpacks are too small to fit anything but this one is wonderful. I can fit a water bottle, wallet, phone, snacks, book and more. I love that the interior has two separate pockets (one mesh with a zipper, one "laptop" type slip pocket) so my stuff stays perfectly organized. It's a nice and light backpack with adjustable straps and pads that make wearing it super comfortable - even for extended periods of time. My other bags are all Patagonia but this purchase has honestly made me want to shop more North Face gear!

Small enough to meet airline size requirements of carry-on and big enough to carry essentials

This bag is pretty small and it works really well for a active day trip. I also use this bag for overnight stay for my dogs needs. This bag is perfect when I do not feel like "carrying a bag".

I use this as a day pack when I travel. It is convenient to use as it is small and comfortable. I take it on vacations and lately I have been using it while following my daughter around cheer competitions. Despite it small appearance, it can hold many items and it very easy to carry.

I use it as a carry-on bag on flights and as a small day pack for hikes and kayak trips. It works very well for these uses an holds a surprising amount of stuff.

My daughter loves this book bag for school. Plenty of space for her books and pockets for her smaller stuff.
