My daughter uses this backpack for school. She loves it. Fits her computer, binders and all school items, Would be great if there was a front pocket to fit a lunch bag.

It's a great book bag but the pockets are small and tight. Love the colors! i got the green and blue one with pink zippers

This was a gift for my granddaughter. She was thrilled with the beautiful color as well as the versatility of the compartments.

Perfect bag, balance is off. The front pocket where a lot of small things go, actually makes the bag not sit properly. Tends to fall forward.

i plan to use this backpack when i start college in the fall. i got the green and bright blue color and the colors are gorgeous and vibrant in person. it seems like it will hold up and i am super excited to use it!

Beautiful Backpack! For the past couple of years I have been getting low quality backpacks from various brands. Luckily I finally found the perfect backpack, it has great quality and great style. Keep in mind that the borealis backpack is not a humongous backpack. This does not mean that you won't be able to fit a lot in the bag. It just means it's not awkwardly big. The North Face never fails! I would highly recommend it for school, hiking, or traveling.

My daughter wanted to have this backpack and when she recieved it, she was very excited. It's spacious for her books, computer and smaller compartments for keys and writing tools. She's a happy and stylish high schooler.

Great bag. Perfect for school and is comfortable to wear. Not for me due to the color easily stains. Would order a darker color.

I have been using this for university for three years now. It still looks as brand new as it did the first day I got it, and that's saying something coming from me, who pretty much always ends up breaking or staining everything I own. I'm honestly not very gentle with it, and it has faced many spills and torrential downpours, but genuinely still looks like new. The design is VERY cute and stylish, while still being simple enough so you don't get tired of it. There are plenty of pockets to aid in organization, which is really helpful! It is also very comfortable! My shoulders don't hurt even after long days of commuting and walking with this backpack. My only complaint is that it is not as roomy as one might think. I think I've seen much cheaper backpacks with much more roominess and space. When you look in this backpack, the space you see is pretty much the space you get. This backpack only really allows for vertical stacking of flat objects. For school, I can easily fit my laptop in its case, a laptop charger, a notebook or two, a novel, a planner, my phone, school supplies, and sometimes my lunchbox (but that needs to be *shoved* in lol). So, it definitely serves its purpose for school or work if you don't need to carry too much around beyond the basics. However, I've tried to use this backpack for camping trips and it really did not go well. It was a struggle shoving everything I needed into the backpack for even just a few days, and once it was packed, it was difficult to navigate through everything to find what I needed. So, overall, it is a very beautiful, durable, backpack that I really love and am so happy I bought. However, it is not super spacious and not ideal for traveling or anything beyond the basic daily necessities.

Sturdy backpack for school. A lot of compartments for storage and miscellaneous items. A bit heavier than I expected.

Bought this bag pack for my daughter who will be in high school. The bag is sturdy but not as spacious as we would like it.

The only thing I didn't not expect on the backpack was so many straps. When ever I put the backpack on the straps dangle down on my butt, but everything else I really like.

I love this backpack especially the color. Only thing I would criticize is that the zippers can be difficult to use!

I love this bag. It's really compact and fits a lot of things. The only issue is that the second compartment doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the bag like the old Borealis, so if you put too much in it, there's a big bulge at the top of the bag. Otherwise, it's super functional and really cute! Can be used for anything; school/work or hiking.

Nice size and color. Has padded laptop sleeve, good for day trips and school/work. Fits a decent amount of things but I had a difficult time to fit books+pair of clothes+electronics+snacks all at once in the bag. Serves the purpose
