Runs large. Who knows if this shoe would work? It was over one size large. Even with an orthotic over the insole, my heel didn't touch the back.

This is the second pair of Alegrias I have tried and returned. The foot bed is extremely comfortable, but both the Paloma and the Keli found different spots on my foot to hurt. The Keli, for some reason was extremely painful across the top of my foot. Plenty of room in the toe box, and through the instep, but the padded throat was so tight I couldn't try them for more than a minute or two. A shame, as it was the only place on the shoe that did not feel good. The Paloma rubbed a totally different spot on the inside of the foot. I guess they just aren't for me.

My first experience with this brand. The shoes were uncomfortable at first. They seemed very stiff and not enough cushioning inside. My feet start hurting after several hours working in the restaurant. After several weeks they are more comfortable but feet and legs still hurt by the end of the shift.

Hoped this shoe would be as comfortable for my problem feet as it was for others that reviewed, but it was not. Well made and comfortable at first, I stopped wearing this shoe after 2 weeks. Used it in a hospital setting where I am constantly walking. Feet hurt too much to continue wearing daily so I'm searching once again.

I wanted these shoes so badly! HOwever, I am returning them. The length is good, the width is good, but they are too tight. They squeeze my feet so badly that I can't stand to keep them on my feet while I am sitting. I had a pair of these that I wore completely out. (the soles) But it seems something has changed since that pair was purchased. I have pretty narrow feet and it is hard for me to find shoes that are snug, most are way too loose. But these are very uncomfortable only because I feel like I am in a vise from the top down. I have a terrible time finding any shoes that are supportive, yet fashionable, and that I can wear for long periods of time. Very disappointed.

I wanted to love these shoes because they were so comfortable and supportive. However the footbed and toe area fit slightly tight and my toes were right at the end but weirdly my heel slipped out every time I took a step. So basically the front part of the shoe was slightly small but the back part too big so it's not going to do me any good to order a size up if my foot is already coming up out of the back.

These shoes run very small , even the wide width. I’ve had great success in the past with the durability and comfort of Alegria shoes. These shoes ARE comfortable however, after wearing these shoes for only a little over a month they look like they are years old. There are large creases in the shoes and both of them have developed a squeak which is very annoying. I had ordered a second pair which I had planned on changing to in about a year but I’m already wearing them since the first pair looks so bad. I won’t buy any more Alegria brand. Obviously, the quality has changed dramatically .

These were so, so comfortable and really nice looking. I have flat fee and pain in the balls of my feet. When I put these one I felt instantly supported and comfortable. I wanted to love them but the size wasn't quite right. I normally wear a 6. The 36 (6-6.5) in this style was too big and the 35 (5-5.5) was too small. If you can find the right fit on these, I highly recommend.

The back of the heel wore out right away, which could have been because I ordered a size too large. But the smaller size did not fit me right, either. Beware of these shoes if your size is around 9 or 9.5 US.

These shoes fit strangely and they do not wear well. This was the smaller size I bought, it was too small to easily wear with thicker socks. Then the inside lining wore out near the little toe and caused a blister. I have now bought them in two different sizes, and neither size fits well. I got a lot of compliments on the pattern, though.

NOT for someone with Hallux Limitis (big toe stiffness, bone spurs). I could barely get this show on and I ordered a size up. Way too tight and stiff across the toe bed. Caused pain within 30 seconds so I returned. Look it utilitarian. May work for normal feet.

way to small, other alegria shoes fit me in the 39. Also, it appeared dark blue online but was black.

I wear a 9 in my shoe. My toe was scrunched up against the inside of the shoe. Definitely order a size up. Very snug on foot in normal socks. Probably will need a wife for me!

The Glitz Now or Never shoe color is pretty and the sparkles are colored red, blue, silver, etc. (which I could not see on my screen). Alegria makes shoes in fun, funky colors and styles, but that’s the only positive thing I can say about them.
I really wanted to love this brand of shoes, but I have found it impossible to find a good fit. I wear a true 10 in almost every other brand of shoes, but in these, the 41 is much too large, and the 40 squishes the end of my toes. When I contacted the company (Algeria, not Zappos), they suggested getting the bigger size and adding padding to the heel so they will fit. Seriously? If I’m paying over $100, the shoes should fit well right out of the box.
In addition, the quality control for this brand is way off. I bought two colors of the SAME style, and they fit very differently. Never again will I try Alegria.
With all that said, if you have normal feet that are not hard to fit and want soft and moderate arch support, try this one. It was a very pretty shoe, and you can’t go wrong with Zappos easy returns.

These shoes are on the clunky side, but the look isn't too bad if you think of them as a clog. I would have kept them for the roomy toe box, but my heels slip in them too much. I had trouble keeping them on as I walked, but I didn't feel I could go down in size, as my toes were near the end of the shoes. I think this style would work better for someone with a wider foot and heel. I need a wide toe box for problem toes, but don't have a particularly wide foot overall.

Liked the style and finish very much. Tried my usual size--38,but it was too short and also was tight on the top of my foot. Tried the 39 and it was better fitting on the top of my foot, but it was too long so had to send them back. Obviously that style just doesn't work for me.

The size 10 was too small and the size 10.5 was too big. Bummer, I had to send them back.

I feel that this shoe was developed for people who sit at a desk. I stand about 8 hours a day and my feet are sore by the end of my shift. The left shoe is a bit larger than the other, so my foot is sliding around in it. Super bummed about this shoe given its price point.

This could probably be a wonderful shoe for someone else's feet, so my review only reflects my experience. This style comes in a wide width which I need so the fit was good. What doesn't work for me could be just what others like: firm leather, higher heel, and higher arch.

If you have a high instep, this is NOT the shoe for you. I couldn't get it on my foot so I can't rank the size, widtgh and arch support. Cute shoe but didn't work for my high instep.

Not good quality. These shoes are very overpriced for the quality. True they are comfortable and stylish, but they have not stood the test of time. I bought my 2 pairs in Nov 2017. It is now August 2018 and they are each worn half the time i.e. I alternate them day by day: one day I wear one pair and the next day I wear the other. I hoped they would do better that way and that they might last a long time. They have not. On one pair the cuff at the back has pulled apart, the stuffing has come out and no longer provides support when I walk = I can no longer wear them. The other pair is still wearable but the pattern is really wearing off now. This is just cosmetic, but for the price I paid I do expect more. Overall, I call these shoes "Wannabe Dansko's". They want us to pay the price of Dansko's, but they don't provide the quality of Dansko's.
