Will be great for winter hiking ! Very warm and ear flaps snap up when you get too hot

I've tried several hats in this style (cadet hat with ear flaps) and this is definitely my favorite. I was afraid the medium would be too small but it was just right. The trick is not to pull down on it too hard--just let it sit on your head. The ear flaps are surprisingly warm for being not terribly thick. The quilted flannel look and the wool is just really classy. Don't stop making this hat!

Excellent quality material, warm, looks sharp, and the green is a really handsome dark shade (but not so dark that it looks black or brown).

This hat is great as a convertible option to keep my ears and back of my neck warm in the wind.

Love it! I have a pretty small head but it fits wonderfully. It's a great hat for long Minnesota winters and will be great for our fall season as well.

It is early days yet but the fit and quality of this hat are fantastic. I was worried it was going to be small because of the reviews but Medium fits me perfectly with the option to tighten up if need be. (My head circumference is 21 -7/8"). Other hats this style, that I have tried have either sat too high or too low or ear flaps were too long or too short or the material was too bulky or too cheap. This hat checks all the right boxes. The only area in which the jury is still out, is the durability: will it fray/ rip/ shrivel in rain/ warp/ etc? Only time will test that but so far I am impressed with the quality of the hat and suspect it will hold up well. I definitely am pleased with this hat in all aspects.

Bought this hat for my boyfriend and it looks so sexy on him! He says it's very comfortable and now he wears it all the time.

hat was very nice, however, though it is adjustable, it was too large for me. I have a small head anyway, and over past 5 years have been steadily losing my hair due to alopecia. I did return for credit on 3/19, and have not gotten a confirmation on credit yet. Would appreciate that being done. Thank you.

Excellent quality hat. Great material and very warm. Only wish it came in XL. My head measured right on the line between the small and large, so I went with large. It still fits a tad more snug that I prefer, but not so uncomfortable that I can't wear it. Hoping it loosens a bit with wear.

I haven't really been able to use this hat yet. I've wanted a couple times and the fit is really good.

Nice hat....though when tightened for a smaller head, the back gets a kink in it. It is quite warm. Maybe it could come with a snap on mask?

Hat is a good design but runs smaller than anticipated. The largest size not really big enough to fit my head, which is really not especially large. Also there is a pretty clever strap and clip for making the hat tighter although if the hat is too small and you have it set to the loosest setting then it often comes unhooked and dangles out the back. Good hat with some caveats. Best for people with smaller heads.

My husband and I both measured our heads and the found the medium would be big enough. It looked like a child's hat when it arrived. I have a smaller head than my husband and it was way too tight on me! Although the size can be adjusted, that's only to tighten it even more.
