This is one of the most fun shoes I've ever run in. The midsole technology is incredible. It's both snappy, protective, and fairly light. There is a reason this is one of the most hyped shoes of 2020! One downside I haven't heard much in other reviews: the large toe box volume + narrow width. I already have narrow feet (B or C width) so I was surprised that one of the silver overlays kept pressing on my right pinkie toe. Seems unnecessary, and I hope Saucony will eliminate it in the next version.
I struggled to get the upper snug to my feet. I have a low volume foot. Maybe could have gone down 1/2 a size (usually an 11, but went with an 11.5). If I lace these tightly, my feet go numb. So I've had to lace these much looser than I do with other shoes, esp. race-type shoes. Means that I don't feel totally secure, but the love I get from this midsole makes it worth the compromise.
In short, a few small flaws (which may be personal to me) ,but this is a fantastic shoe that i would buy again and in the future.

Very responsive shoes. They keep shape/tightness well. Plus it's a good value which is important when looking for a training shoe you know will accumulate miles quickly. Will be back for a second pair in a few months and looking forward to trying the pro model for race days too.

I'm so impressed with these shoes! Perfect fit, true to size, soft and smooth ride and seriously making me run faster and saving my legs. I'm 100% sure purchase another pair. Toe box a little wide for narrow feet but I can live with that. Already started too recommend to friends and family 'da Speed'.
Perfect for long runs and speed work! Aloha

These are some of the most intriguing running shoes I've ever worn. On the first run, there is a strange sensation (stiffness?) along the lateral part of the foot that I wasn't used to. Maybe that was due to the "plate" but I got used to it after the first run. These shoes are fast, but not in the uncomfortable "racing flat" sense. I was able to clock in the fastest times in anything from 13-mile tempo days, to shorter intervals, and my legs still came out unbeaten. The balance between light weight, cushioning, and response is amazing. I would definitely recommend these for half or full marathon racing.
Endorphin Speed invokes weird mix of feelings around fairness: the speed is definitely encouraging, pushing you to train faster; and there is some lingering sense of guilt regarding how much of this speed is purely due to your strength. The technical progress in shoe technology is clearly showing here, and I think many modern day runners will go through some mental process to make sense of it all.

Better than Kinvara, buy a pair for IM Cozumel and it was very comfortable.

I bought these in July and have used them as my daily runners ever since. I'm not a high volume runner - I top out at 8 miles or so - on any given run, but that's because I only really started to get into running in May. As such, once I bought these I immediately "felt" the difference is Speedroll. I'm short, the rocker shape of the shoe really taught me how to run properly, with a stronger focus on running in the forefoot in order to get the most out of every stride. For the people complaining about wear on the hero of the outsole, I think they're neglecting how to "run properly". That's coming from a guy that consistently wears out his own everyday non-exercise shoes on the outside back, without fail. I have had no such outsole wear issues whatsoever with the Endorphin Speed, and I've put 157 miles on them according to Strava.
For those complaining about outsole durability, I think their running style isn't well-suited for a PEBA Foam shoe in the first place. I run a 25 minute 5K at just under 8 minutes a mile, thanks to the Speeds. In other shoes, I'm in the 8:30 or higher range.
If you're typically a heavy heel striker in most running shoes, the Endorphin Speed actually presents as an opportunity to revisit your running form. If you're unable to adapt to the running form required of a rocker-style shoe, (ie if you run really flat footed) you probably won't find as much utility in this shoe as you'd like.
Last thing: fits completely true to your normal shoe size! Don't need to half-size up or down due to narrowness or lack of toe space, like some other brands.

Best shoes I've had; push you forward, spongy, very light. Running for 60 years and these are the best I have had, very grateful, put a big smile on my face. Just finished running down a bridge on the Gulf Coast in them. They are great!!!

its amazing what difference using the right sizes means. i purchase an 8.5 but it turns out that my size is really 9. the shoes feel great and push you took moving forward and fast. i am going to try a runners not for my next run for a better lockdown because i have notice that the heel its pretty loose but thats because i am use to running on stability shoes. i can't wait to keep running on this.

Loving them so far for medium and long runs. Fast, smooth and responsive.
On downside is bunching off excess fabric on top of toe box

Great shoes for a number of run types. Stable for long runs and then light enough to set my 5km PB.
They always feel like they have another gear to go

These are far and away the best and most versatile daily runners I've ever owned. The offer comfort, support, & ability to go fast. The PEBAX foam and Nylon plate are a match made in heaven.
The nylon plate offers a less intrusive way (as opposed to carbon fiber) to give great energy return with little to no discomfort. You'll feel fast and comfortable in these shoes, they make long runs easier. If you are an avid runner, you need these shoes.

I'm looking at the reviews and wondering how anything other than 5 stars is even possible. After just 2 quick break in runs these things are the stuff of dreams. Maybe the only knock is that they can be a little loose at much lower speeds but they are just so comfy with the perfect amount of pop on every other run. Have worked them over on Easy Runs, Tempo Runs, intervals and even a Fartlek. My feet were thankful during and after. Wonderful shoe all around, I just HOPE they don't do like other manufacturers and go tinkering with it when its already so great.

I normally wear mild support shoe due to overpronation, but wanted something lighter for tempo and race days. Bought this shoe and now I don't want to wear anything else. They are legit 10-15 seconds faster than my previous shoe. Plus they are soft and responsive. No issues with legs either from lack of extra support. Love these shoes!

To me, a good, solid running shoe is like a reliable barber - if you can trust in the quality and eventually the final outcome your barber and running shoe gives you, the better the results you will receive:)
I've become such a huge fan of the Endorphin series, especially the Speed and Pro. The response I get for each foot strike, is absolutely amazing. I've done some pretty hard sessions, both distance and pace wise, and they have held up great. I'm on my 3rd pair and each time the shoe exceeds my expectations.
Speaking of, time to hit up my barber:)

I've been running in this shoe for just over week, I have other shoes in my rotation but nothing gets close to this period. Simply wonderful! Well done Saucony.
