This shoe is a SLIP-ON: none of the information provided states that. The description even speaks to lacing, BUT, it is elastic. I don't believe there is a way to tighten up as the shoe is a little too loose for my liking. You may get this back! very disappointed in the description of this shoe!

The shoes in every way.they felt great they were wide enough.they were slip on,didn't like that,would not work with braces.

Very comfortable, durable, stylish and easy to clean. I wear them around regularly and even hiking. I'm getting ready to order another pair that are different in color.

This was a shoe I bought at a local store size 11 1/2. That was absolutely the best wearing shoe I have ever worn.
Having flat feet I was told the art support is very important and they were easy to clean.
I walk and I am on my feet all day long, so when I wear other shoes that hurt my feet as soon as I put these on, I am all better again.
I wish they had 11 1/2 size or I would just order more of these with different colors.
Very very very very very very, very satisfied .

I miss these shoes so much! I bought a pair just as the "dark times" fell upon us, so they didn't get out and used much for 6 months, then they were used every day. They only now have started to break down. I tried to get another pair but this style can't be found in my size. It's so sad, because the way they fit was like a glove on my foot! And, the stretchy no-laces gimmick ACTUALLY WORKS. I cannot over-emphasize my love for these shoes.

The always-cushy Skechers walking sole make these feel plush on your feet. Note that the laces are stretchy and not adjustable.

I had the same problem that another reviewer had with the fake laces. I cut the laces and removed them. Then cut the elastic bands on the inside of the shoe and put regular laces on them and they work fine.

This pair of Skechers was a Christmas gift for my dad. He already has several pair Skechers shoes but he had commented how much he liked my husbands Skechers similar to this style. My dad wears a size 14, so he was thrilled that we were able to get this awesome style of Skechers for him. These will be perfect for his vacations that include lots of walking.

I really wanted to love these shoes. When they arrived I saw that they were elastic laces and I don't have any luck slipping the high top of my foot to fit into them. I need shoes that actually tie. Very disappointed. I marked the above Overall, Comfort and Style as 5's because I had to mark something. I cannot judge those things because I couldn't get them on. Sorry you will need to judge for yourself although you really can't go wrong with Skechers
