Like the look, exactly as advertised, needed to break in a little narrow. The do squeak a lot. Again may just need to break in. I do get compliments on them.

These shoes look great. However they are the heaviest pair of shoes in my closet. I wish they could have designed a lighter shoe.

Overall a comfortable well built shoe but they get easily dirtied and hard to clean afterwards.

I wish I could find a size that would work for me. Nice shoes but will not fit me.

These look nice and clean. But not perfect - some of the cutting guide ?pencil? lines were visible at the seams. The biggest problem is the noise though! It squeaks and creaks like a haunted house. My coworkers can hear me from a hall away. Unusable in a casual office setting.

Very well made shoe. One of the best made I've seen (compared to Cole Haan, Ecco, Thursday etc). However, this shoe is green. The pictures make it look light brown, but in the light at home it was very green. Also it game with contrasting dark laces not light matching laces like in the pictures. Not my taste, sent back.

Not very comfortable and also has a bizarre thin layer on the outside that can be accidentally cut and then peels off. It is a decent sneaker overall, but do not think it is necessarily worth the high price.

I wear these often for work. Sole could be sturdier/more supportive.

I brought these for my spouse as a Father's Day gift. He loves the look, says the leather is great but not so comfortable yet, hence the reason for 3 stars. I'm hoping its simply a need to continue to break the shoes in. He says he needs more time on this product :(

The fit is great, love the shoe. Only wish it was made in the US.

I purchased these as a second choice, as the other coutsides I liked did not comr narrow sizes. I find this with many Allen Edmonds shoes.

I have been buying the American made versions of AE since 1984. Probably 30 pairs and I am in love with all of their shoes which are made in Port Washington. In the past couple years i have purchased on line the casual styles, (imports) and have been quite disappointed by quality, fit and design. I am a B width, American made AE B width are correct, this pair i just received were called B width but were wider than regular D width.
My advise to AE, stay an American made company, my advise to all of us Americans, don't buy their imports! They are priced as if American, quality of a lower end import.

Just received my Courtside pair in White. Immediately one can tell that the the leather sides are not nearly as thick as the front, back, etc. The sides are either somewhat blued or they (may be) so thin I can actually see a bit through them.
The soles themselves are great heavier quality, but not too heavy for sneakers. The brown leather details look good and are true to the photo.
They run large for me, so my Usual 11.5 would've had to have been an 11 instead. The toe-box has plenty of room but has more of a pointed look, than rounded like the photos had me to believe. All of the leather is grainy not smooth.
Unless my pair is defective, giving (the see-through) cheap look on the sides; Unfortunately I'll have to return my purchase for a refund instead of an exchange.

The strange thing is there is a seam in the heal of the shoe at the point where the shoe snugly fits against my foot. Odd, but seems like a design error This is as you would expect uncomfortable.
Th build quality is otherwise excellent.

Shoes could not go through tsa pre check as they told me there was metal imbedded in the soles. I will not buy again and this was not disclosed in the specifications

Color, fit, and style are great but the shoes are really squeaky. Whatever material they use to make the inside of the shoe causes it to squeak every time you take a step.

These look great, but they are some of the least comfortable shoes I've ever owned. My Higgins Mill boots and McAllister wingtips are far more comfortable.
They don't flex correctly, or perhaps the sole is too stiff? I don't know. I can't wear them for very long.

Good shoes, bad QC. The she's have uneven stitches and some pencil marks.

The Courtside in black look nice and well constructed as expected, but they are so loud. The squeak is so bad that they are unwearable indoors or any moderately quiet environment.
Yes, I tried adding foot powder/talcum powder. And no, it doesn't help.
Shoes are also much heavier than expected. Not sure what you get for all that extra weight. It's certainly not support or cushioning.

Comfortable and breaking in nicely. But some glue and thread are already started to separate on outer soul. The tan stamp on the tongue, discolors the white shoelaces almost immediately, that was also a bummer. For the price, these probably won't last as long as I'd like them too.

Fit is great and they are relatively comfortable for a leather sneaker, but they are just so squeaky it's almost embarrassing to walk in. It seem to get worse as I wear them. Similar issue with my newer McAllisters which is concerning as well; AE quality going down?
