Like the styling, the insoles were not very comfortable. I got new ones from a sporting goods store and they are fine now. Of course the insole was an added expense that I could have done without.

the shoe laces are too short which requires you to tie them too tight! They need to be a inch or 2 longer.

The shoes are stylish and comfortable but I wore them out in about three months. I am not a runner but play two or three hours of ping-pong a week And they are already worn out. I would not have thought I would wear out that soon. I wanted to buy another pair because of this. Shoes still look new on top

Very comfortable and great looking shoe. The only issue is that the upper sole black color scuffs and needs to be touched up with a black marker.

They ripped after a short time wearing them. I had to toss them.

Love the shoes and have received some positive comments. I would have given 5* except in longer walks I get a blister on rear inside of my left foot and a "wear" soreness on the front fold of the left shoe. For shorter wals no problem.

The shoe looks great and nice design, but ran too large. I always wear an 8 from Johnston Murphy but these were too big. I gave them to a friend.

Shoe is nice in appearance and everything I wanted, but the customer service to get the shoe was a nightmare. Submitted multiple tickets to get an answer about the backorder as the date kept moving and no response. After being on the phone with them for about 30 minutes I was finally able to get someone to get my order fulfilled.

TO BIG

The colored top edge or the sole scuffs off easily. Still a great fit but the looks don't hold up.

Rough interior

Great fit but, the side edges of the tongue are roughly sewn and irritate the skin on the top of the foot quite a bit. If made smoother they would be perfect.

Comfortable, light and nice looking sneaker. Only 3 starts because the shoe scuffs too easily and the scuff marks stand out.

Every other J&M shoe is true to fit. Unfortunately, this came too big...

tight on the arch after awhile

I would give these shoes a five in a heartbeat if the blue color on the top half of the sole didn't wear off after only a few weeks.

The tongue of the shoe is too short to allow easy entrance without pushing the tongue into the shoe. Other deigns feature a higher tongue and avoid this problem

I always take a 9M in shoe size. This was very tight on my feet. Unfortunate bc they are very good looking shoes.

Blisters

Order the shoe looking for an off white neutral shoe. So excited when they arrived. Good looking and comfortable. They get dirty easily and don't come clean. The gray leather inside the shoes under the lace eyelets bleeds and stains the fabric. The quality of JM shoes seems to be declining. They certainly don't last like they used too. My last several pairs have disappointed

Beware if you wear barefoot... the material inside the tongue flap protrudes and will cut into the top of your foot and toes. I have to use with bandages to prevent blistering of the skin. I have two pair, same size, different color, and both pair of shoes do this. Shame because they fit well, look great, and are very comfortable otherwise.

The color is more of an aquamarine, rather than blue. Too much green for my taste.

Activate U-Throat great shoe until they start coming apart 3 months after buying them. The gray band around the the shoe above the sole and heal is cracked & peeling off. These are fantastic shoes until now. I don't wear these every day and this shouldn't be happening. I love them so much I purchased multiple pairs and have them in reserve. Now I know that they will do the same thing.

I love the weight and ease of use however, I have to give a low rating as the back heel went from grey to white on the first day of use. This should never happen on a shoe at this price range. I have several Johnson & Murphy shoes and I love them as they are usually quite durable. I bought these for travel and I am very dissapointed in the color change in just one day if use.
