The eye lit where the shoe string goes through, broke. Wore the shoes 3 times and I cant wear them anymore. Bad design for the shoe string but comfortable for 3 times wearing them.

The selection and service at Johnston & Murphy is outstanding! I have honestly never been complimented more on ANY shoes that I have ever purchased! Great fit and comfort not to mention the excellent selection and price of the shoes!

J&M is without a doubt my number one brand for work clothing. The fit is always right, the quality is there and, as a man with no fashion sense, I enjoy their recommended pairings to help keep me looking good!

Very nice looking and comfortable shoes. I am an older man and these feel great on my feet as they are light and supportive and I really like the fact that they breathe for the warmer summer months.

I first came across J & M in the airport during my travels. I was hesitant to buy a pair that I really liked because I was traveling light with a carry-on only. The store clerk explained that they will have them shipped directly to my house, simplified that issue! Amherst U Throat is my favorite shoe now, I have a half dozen colors. Perfect mix of business casual and comfort. I get a ton of compliments and/or questions on them often. They are super comfy and slip on and off easy, you don't even really need to untie the laces because of the stretch fabric. Other than that I have a half dozen other styles with multiple pairs of a couple, this place is legit. There's been a few times they have sent me a coupon or store credit to keep me coming back, truth be told I was going to anyways. My brother now shop's here as well as a couple of my buddies. Everybody around me knows this is my favorite spot for shoes.

I bought another pair of a shoe I had happily worn for two years. The new pair wasnt quite the color shown on the website but ok. The website indicated the shoe ran slightly large so I accepted its advice (I forgot to compare with my old pair). The new shoes felt tight but I thought maybe theyd stretch as I wore them. They didnt and are too small. Ill have to buy another pair of shoes so disappointed.

Very comfortable, stylish and light shoes. Walking long distances all day is quite easy.

Had a good experience with another color so bought a second in black. While tightening and tying the laces for just the second wear, the eyelit came unglued and tore out. I really like a few of my Johnston & Murphy's, but this is the third pair out of my last seven which broke or tore within a few wears, so unfortunately will find it difficult to invest in any more pairs.

This model i purchased are terrific casual shoes with an appealing appearance, light and very comfortable.

I bought two pair in case J&M discontinues the design. They breath great and I love the look of the leather and grey knot combo. Easily my go-to for the summer!
