For my job, I had to buy shoes "off the truck". The shoes were painful and screwed up my feet. Now, I'm an active retiree and cheaper shoes were very uncomfortable and didn't last very long. They also would make my legs and back ache. I didn't know that the shoes were doing that. I read on some forums to spend more money on better shoes. I'm glad I tried these. After a long day they don't hurt my feet, my back and legs don't hurt and I find that I'm standing straighter. The first day I wore them, I spent 10 hours in the garage milling trim for my house. At the end of the day, my feet are just as happy as when I put them on.

I was a little worried at first because I never purchased a pair of Thorogood work shoes before online but now that I worked a few shift's in them I have to say these work shoes are the BEST they are comfortable the non slip is perfect they did not make my feet hurt I am now a believer in Thorogood and for sure they have a new customer I would definitely purchase them again with no hesitation WAY TO GO THOROGOOD

A well constructed shoe for its purpose which appears to be heavy duty indoor or street work with good protection. I was not aware it has a stiff toe box protection probably synthetic. I appreciate lots of toe box room and this has it along with good overall support. I returned it due to its weight which is a disadvantage for long walks.

Perfect fit wilorder from them again

This is the 2nd pair of these shoes. Very comfortable and available in wide. The shoe was listed as extra wide, but I think they only come in wide. The shoes delivered are listed wide on the box. I am very happy with them. These are my work shoes. I am on my feet for 8 hours.

I did not even try these on they were way too heavy and I knew they wouldn’t be comfortable for me. I was looking for light weight since I’m a bartender and on my feet all day. Bummer I have to send them back.

Very heavy (over 33 ounces total, more than twice my previous shoes). Rubbed where my foot entered the shoe (ankles on the sides, tongue in front). Aside from those problems, might have worked out, but I returned them.

These shoes are heavy little hippos. I had to build up leg strength to keep going through my shift. I walk a ton and you can feel that weight. That said they do seem to be built like a tank. As to break in period, this is gonna hurt a bit. I am on my fourth 8 hour shift of wearing these shoes and the pain of break in is real. You gotta figure out if lacing through the last hole is worth it. I went one down and got a bit more comfort.

Way to stiff around the ankles. Could not get them to soften up and just bruised my ankles.
