Already own a couple pair of Mizunos which I have been using for short runs and treadmill workouts, Best features of the Wave Rebellion is that they are a superlight shoe and the fabric used for the upper appears quite durable, There are several things about this model which I just do not like at all beginning with a sizing problem, I immediately noticed the lack of space in the toe box when I put these on (seem to be about a half size small); Compound used for the sole is also extremely rigid and does not grip like a softer rubber material would, Next issue is with the tongue, oversized but so thin it provides almost no padding between laces and the top of your foot.

Very cushioned sole. Extremely light weight. Will be good for very long walks on urban streets.

This is the best athletic shoe I have ever owned. I've tried many over the years. This shoe is incredibly supportive but also light as a feather. So glad I got this brand, which I had never tried before. Excellent shoe!

Fit great, very comfortable, light, and great design and color. Got lot of compliments.

These shoes are very different from anything I’ve ever tried. I’ve been running for almost fifty years and never run in anything like these. They don’t have a padded tongue and the drop is to steep. Unless you’re running on your toes these are not for you. Very disappointed

The forward slope angle/drop was too steep for me. That "paper-type"/too thin tongue they designed is awful. Way to high up on front ankle. No padding. A bad joke. Shoe is a bad design. Give me the Waveknit Sky 4 or maybe even the Waveknit Sky 5 with its toe issues over this one.

After reading many reviews on YouTube, I knew this would be a long shot, but wanted to try since Zappos has an excellent return policy. I didn't find much good about these shoes and will be returning. The lockdown was average at best, shoe feels to run a bit wide compared to other brands I have. Felt some slippage on the heal and also felt slippage on the insole of the shoe. If you are expecting something similar to some of the super shoes out there, you will be disappointed. Feel is pretty firm, foam is somewhat responsive but not compared to other shoes in a similar price range. The one positive I can see if you are a diehard Mizuno fan is these do feel like they'd be durable on the outsole and overall, and the upper felt decent. I also was fine with the longer tongue since I like to use a runner's knot for a better lockdown. Overall, not a good fit for me at.
