Material is breathable and lightweight. The soles look a little more thick like a Hoka, which I do not like at all. They are marked as a 2E, but feel very tight across the middle where my other Mizunos have not had that issue. Unfortunately will be sending back.
I'd also recommend:
Clarks, Asolo and Cole Haan.

I really love my other pair of 8.5 D wave riders, and thought I could add to my collection. When these arrived, I noticed that my toes were scrunched up at the top of the toe box. When I compared this shoe to the other wave rider, I found it was at LEAST an inch shorter than my other pair and that is why it felt like a full size smaller. Bizarre. And now I have to pay to restock my return.

Terrible sneaker. My son more than for three days and the toes have already ripped. This is the first time he’s ever had a pair of sneakers that ripped like this. Absolutely horrible.

I have buying Mizuno and they were amazing in comfort but the last two I bought are not at all near to the other one I think time to switch the brand.
