OMG THESE ARE AMAZING!!! These have become my absolute favorite shoes (and I have a LOT of shoes). They are SUPER comfortable. The arch support and insoles provide great support, and feel like I'm walking on supportive marshmallows (in the best way). The high-top style provides great ankle support as well, and are flexible enough for very comfortable biking, walking, and hiking. The soles are nice and non-slippy on all kinds of surfaces, rain or shine. I like that I can customize the snug-ness by either putting the zipper up/down and/or tightening the laces. They are also SUPER stylish and look unlike anything I have in my collection--kind of euro-hiker meets sneaker. As others have mentioned, they are hard to get on and off for the first couple of wears, but even a few days in and they are already much easier (and the loops on the top and back make the process much easier). I typically wear a women's size 8, and the men's 7/women's 8.5 is perfect. i have the black orca color with the brownish sole, and LOVE the black and dark grey accents (it's mostly black with a grey sheen on the upper part).

Definitely a little tough to get on, even with the cordage as loose as it would go. I’m hoping they will loosen up a bit after I break them in. I’m typically an 8.5, so that’s what I ordered. With THIN socks they will be fine, but if you live in a colder climate, (Georgia girl, here ?????)I’d suggest sizing up to accommodate thicker socks. I’m keeping these shoes because they are so different than anything I own, and I have A LOT of shoes. They will look great with jeans or leggings. They really are comfortable and appear to be well made. If you’re on the fence, I say go for it, because the return/exchange process with Zappos is ridiculously easy! I’d also like to add, these shoes would be great for a guy or a girl.

First of all, these shoes are an experience. They get more comfortable as they warm up by your body temperature. Very pleasant to walk in. Once you manage to put them on, that is. I was hoping that they will stretch out and in time it will be easier to put them on. However, I didn't get the chance to see if that will be the case. The shoes were delivered on Oct. 7, 2021. My teen child wore them to school thrice, I wore them twice when it was slightly chillier -- we wear the same size shoes, 6-6.5. This morning, while my child was walking to school, one of the little metal elements holding the shoelaces popped out. There were a few of reasons why I agreed to pay more than $200 for these shoes: they are vegan, they seem to be good quality, and they look good. Sadly, only the first and the last of my expectations were met in real life.

One of the lace clasps broke off literally the first day i wore it. Worst shoe purchase i have ever made.

My feet are wide and I have a flexible flat foot with bunions. For this reason, I size up 1/2 size, which worked for me with this boot. I don't know why everyone complained about how hard these were to get on and off -- took me maybe 30 seconds to get them on the first time, but then I have small ankles so maybe that helped. These shoes were so comfortable I don't want to take them off. They are just what I wanted for walking the dog in the park, and visiting my kids in Seattle and Utah, where there may be rain or snow.

Took 15 minutes to get them on! Too hard! Have to return.

Update: Officially in love with these! They definitely loosened up in regards pulling them on, so don’t let that deter you from snagging a pair of these!

Getting these puppies on my feet almost gave me a coronary! But once they were on, Oh. My. Gawd! I have all sorts of foot issues and these are incredibly comfortable and supportive. Dare I say, better than my Hoka? They are a TAD easier to get on each time you try. The secret is a long shoe horn. I would have given a 5 star overall except for the difficulty in getting these bad boys on my feet.

Like other reviews I read, it is really hard to pull the boot on and off. It ran wide on my average foot. The boot design with "grippy sole , waterproof characteristics and progressive design are wonderful. If you could adjust the design slightly so one could pull it on easily you would have a winner. I really want to love you product and will look to modifications and future designs. I think your company story should be celebrated and more widely known.

These are exactly as expected. I usually wear a size 9, so I was a little concerned that there are only half sizes available (9.5 or 10.5). I went with the 9.5 because 10.5 seemed like it would be way too big, even with winter socks. The 9.5 is perfect. It may take some getting used to the lacing. I thought they would be difficult to take off, but it was surprisingly easy. I haven't tested these in wet yet, but there's a ton of rubber so I think that will be fine. I can't yet speak to warmth.

I wanted a pair of slip-on every day ankle boots for the rainy season. I've had these shoes for two months, worn them almost daily, and am overall very pleased with this purchase. The traction is quite good for wet and sometimes muddy sidewalks and parking lots. I have not slipped at all since getting these shoes, which is something that happened quite often during the rainy season in my old ankle boots. This is my first experience with this brand and I will be looking at their other products. These shoes weren't uncomfortable right out of the box, but became much more comfortable after a few days of breaking in. They were quite difficult to get on initially. While they have loosened up with wear, they still do not slip on easily -- it takes some tugging. My only other complaint is about the little fabric tab that holds the ties at the back of your ankle. This tab stays on just through friction and the laces are too short to knot to prevent the tab from sliding off completely. Sometimes one of the laces will slip out while I'm tugging the shoes on and I'll have to stick it back in. I think it's probably a matter of time before I lose this little tab, at which point I will replace it with some sort of toggle that will stay on more securely.

I picked these up for a better looking vegan boot for going out to city cafes and such in the winter. I've already got boots for snow and these didn't have to serve that purpose. They are still warm though and the look and comfort does not disappoint. Make no mistake, the laces are just for show - these are slip on boots. You may have to loosen the very top to get them on and pull the lace tight after you zip them up the side but generally just leave them alone. 30 seconds to get them both on and zipped. I also wouldn't pull very hard on the finger loops at the top as they don't look very strong. Overall, I recommend these for those who just want a good looking pair for the colder months who are more concerned with the look and comfort than hiking.

Coolest boots out there! I just love how you've designed them. Kept my feet dry through the last couple of snowfalls, so they're definitely waterproof. Comfy to walk in too, the soles have great cushion. Will definitely be back to buy more. Awesome all around!

I at first bought the wrong size. Customer service were as quick as they could be given the busy holiday season. Went and purchased a new pair and I am in love! First snow of the season just hit the city and Im so happy I have my sneaker boots to get my through it!!

Boots are warm and comfortable. Spent a whole day hiking through mud and taking them on and off while bouldering, and they were great. They are snug though. I have a narrow foot, so they're perfect for me, but anyone with a wider foot might want to go up a size.

Once I got it and super comfortable ever I felt so I definitely would buy it more someday. I have a higher recommends for all of you to get it! No questions!

Love my waterproof boots...so comfortable, with a wide toe bed!

Recently got these, by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. Light flexible and stylish however they are a challenge to put on and not totally ideal for a wide foot. The ankle, arch support and sole grip make-it all worthwhile.

It has been about a year since I first saw Skye Footwear on Social. Having worked for couple footwear companies before thinking about purchasing a pair, I really was interested in the function over the style. The style is hands down, so original and fresh! I noticed that Skye was offering a payment plan and so I was excited to take advantage of it for the Stnley Black Boot. It's getting cold where I'm at and these boots have been amazing since they came in. They also shipped really quickly, tracked it through the Shop app and the owner even thanked me for the purchase!! I mean, cmon, how awesome is that! Looking forward to wearing these every day and getting a pair for Spring next year!

Literally as comfy and durable as described. I've never spent so much on a pair of shoes before, but lemme tell you it's worth it. Get it if you can
