This wide sized pair of shoes fit nicely, but maybe a little loose. Unfortunately the elastic laces are not adjustable. It's not so loose that you might be upset if you wanted a shoe that functioned like a slipper, but I am looking for something a little more snug in case I feel like running. Possibly a half size smaller would be better, but another shoe in the batch I ordered to try on (Olukai Moku Pae) works so well for me that I don't think I need to try these in a smaller size. The insole has a pattern of bumps which you can feel with the bottoms of your feet. It's interesting, but does not appeal to me. I'm sure I could get used to it if I loved every other aspect of this shoe.

I usually order an 8 1/2 but reviews said to order an 1/2 size smaller . I did so and I got a great fit.

It's strange to wear a "laced" shoe without having to lace it up. But that feeling disappears the second you slip these on. NICE!

I love these shoes. They are light weight and very comfortable. Dressy enough to wear out to a nice summer dinner and casual enough wearing shorts at a brewery. One of my favorite Zappos purchases.

These shoes were for my husband. He says they feel so good on his feet. He needed to use a shoehorn to get them on. They do fit well, however. He always wears Nunn Bush shoes.
