The other felt like the protective toe got pressed in at an angle, and was rubbing my big toe toe knuckle and pinky toe at the same time

I really like the look of these and Keen usually does great with making boots that fit comfortably. I would recommend these to try. My husband hasn't worn them yet, but he has flat feet and Keens are the only shoes he wears.

Plastic hooks easily break when pulling shoe strings. I bought to use as a work shoe and when I went to tie for the first time the plastic hook broke.

Light weight composite toes. Work well for mechanics. I usually wear out the top of the toes the fastest from crawling on floor to set hoist. These last a full year.

Very comfortable and light. Have worn Keen boots for many years and these are definitely one of the most comfortable and light pairs i have ever owned. They seem to be about as waterproof as I'd expect and fairly durable for the price point, hopefully they continue to impress.

I have used this boot for three years now. I get one each year. Theyre very comfortable and supportive. Also with the safety toe and the electrical protection suits my needs. I used to wear Dr Martens, but they no longer make them. After trying a few different brands, these won out. They are Very comfortable boots.

One of the better boots I've worn. It seemed about half a size off though. I can't wear them ALL day due to that.

Overall, the fit seemed fine but I didn’t like how tall the toe box was with the composite toe. I tried them on and returned them and kept the Timberland Pro Reaxion boots that I purchased at the same time.

I'm actually really disappointed to have to return these because I usually have really good luck with Keen work boots, and specifically the safety toe boots (this would have been my 4th pair). I only wore them for one work day, for most of which I was sitting. I can't say they didn't fit, because they were the right size and I was able to get them on and off ok, the fit was definitely the issue. The heels were very slippy in both boots, rubbing against the back of my heel and ankle no matter how I adjusted the laces, and the left toe cap, in particular was pinching/rubbing on my pinkie toe when I walked as well. I also need good arch support, and good forefoot cushion. With literally all my non-Keen work shoes I immediately replace the insoles because the ones they come with are less supportive than cardboard. In the past, with Keen I have been able to use the manufacturer insole, but the midsole on these was so hard, and the arch so low, that I replaced the insole with the ones I buy for all my other shoes in order to help with that. Unfortunately, it was still not enough. Today was an easy day, with far less walking than I would normally do, but I can tell from what I did do today that a full day of my regular workload in these would, sadly, end with blisters and tears. For someone who doesn't have a high instep like I do, or need a lot of squish under the ball of their foot (because of neuromas between my 2nd and 3rd toes in both feet) these might work better. Unfortunately, they are not for me.

For pro long standing and walking would not recommend these shoes.. You need soft sole and comfort, these can be a little heavy and tiredness due to the bulkness of the shoe..

I think these shoes may have an engineering defect, considering what some may consider the brand's reputation and that the cost may be indicative of their durability. At least the left shoe upper right hook, through which the shoelace passes, has snapped off, and now the shoe is not completely laceable. It is made of plastic. I have worn this shoe for approximately 40 hours a week for 6 months. Some other shoe companies would use a metal hook in this application. Because this issue renders the shoe incompletely laceable, it is my opinion it should receive the lowest rating, while besides this point I would have given it 3 or 4 stars. It is a rigid and durable boot otherwise, although not extremely comfortable.
