This is a sturdy, rugged shoe for busy kids. It has awesome traction for running and hiking. It's a comfortable shoe that can be worn all day with no complaints about hurting feet after a museum tour or other family activities. The price was great, as is the quality. Overall, a great shoe for your child that's built to last.

My son is currently dealing with Sever's disease and I bough these shoes at the recommendation of a website with information about his condition. He has only worn them a handful of time but so far he mentions his heels do not hurt nearly as bad (if at all) as most other shoes. I believe the Gel is a game changer and I will definitely continue purchasing this style until he outgrows Sever's.

My daughter measures as a 2.5 which we originally ordered and returned. I think she may actually be in between a 2 1/2 and 3, and these were a good fit.
