I was so excited for this in the black/red plaid, but they run at least a complete half-size TOO SMALL for both Sorel and standard sizes. Additionally the toe box runs small. The quality was also a little lower than what I'm used to from Sorel. Really disappointing was really looking forward to these.

Most of the reviews state that this runs small, decided to still try it and yes, it is small. I wish shoe manufacturers would read their reviews and update their sizing accordingly, because its upsetting when you are the largest size and the shoe is too small and you can't go up a size at all. This shoe was exactly what I was looking for, but back it goes.

I have a pair of Sorel boots I bought last winter & loved. I bough the same size in these (1/2 size larger than I normally wear) and they are way too short & very narrow. I’m returning & trying a bigger size.

This boot was stiffer and clunkier than I expected. Also, the top hit at an odd part of my leg and rubbed uncomfortably against my shin and calf. I have been looking for a replacement for the Sorel Cozy 1964, which I loved because it felt like wearing an athletic shoe, but which my new dog chewed to pieces a few months after purchasing them. Unfortunately these do not feel as light and comfortable as my previous boots and I will be returning them. For information, the "faux fur" lining isn't the long fur that you can see on other Sorel boots; it's a very short fur lining, almost like a fleecy fabric.

I don't love these boots. They look very cheap in person, and are very slippery! I guess if you want to walk in the winter to your mailbox they are okay. But any other situation, prepare to slip. Already looking worn after wearing them twice. The fit is really narrow and constricting. Don't expect to wear thick socks with these boots either. Not very happy with Sorel.

Just received these and they are super cute but sizing is way off. They are about 3/4" shorter than my Explorer Joan boots I got last year. I couldn't even get them on!

I originally ordered 10.5 after reading reviews (I'm a 10 normally). 10.5 was ok, but I wanted space for thicker socks so I reordered in an 11. The 11's were almost an inch shorter than the 10.5! Clearly they were not sized correctly, but super upsetting for me, bc now the 11 is sold out. I've never seen quality control issues like this from sorel. I'm returning them (obviously) but really hope they bother to check them & not just sell them to another hopeful customer! Very cute otherwise, so I'm disappointed they sent me a bad product :(

I have no idea what lighting Sorel used for the pictures of the "sage" option but it is not even remotely similar. The actual color is a hideous green/brown that matches absolutely nothing. DO NOT BUY SAGE unless you want shoes the color of the attached picture.

Bought this to walk around the town in Seattle. It's super slippery in the rain/light snow. So slippery that I wasn't feeling comfortable in them, even though I bought them to use on rainy days. Do not recommend at all unless you plan to wear them on dry days only. Not what I expected from Sorel.

I really like the style of these boots I was hoping they would work since the other ones that I liked were sold out in my size it said order up so I ordered up I normally wear a 7 1/2 and I ordered an 8 1/2 which fit but whenever I tried them on it felt like wearing rubber boots not comfortable at all around your ankle or your upper foot I’m really not sure why they’re designed that way but maybe that’s the way they designed them in 1964.

I always size up in Sorel boots & went from a 10 1/2 to an 11. The shoe has great style appeal, moderate arch support, but it's narrow & my toes come to the end of the boot. There is no 11 1/2 to size up again & a 12 would definitely not work. I love the look of this boot, but there is no toe box room at all. I have so many Sorel boots & love most of them, but I wish Sorel would think about women with average width feet, & also make these boots with toe box room. I have an average foot, not wide & this 11 should have fit. Received these boots today & returning today.
