Love these sandals and love Skechers! I have a high arch and Skechers supplies a good arch support. Their shoes last, too. Will definitely keep buying Skechers.

They are cute and more supportive than normal sandals. I would like a little more support but I'm happy to have this much at least. I went down a star because the individual bands make it difficult to put them on. It would be nice if there were stitches connecting them together so I don't have to untwist them every time I put them on.

I've worn Sketchers sneakers for years - I wear size 8 in summer, but size 8 1/2 in winter ( to accommodate socks ). So I ordered size 8 for these sandals . But - They're much larger than expected. I'm keeping them because I don't want to wait another 2-3 weeks to get a smaller size. I love them - but wish they fit better.

I have high arches and a high instep so finding sandals to walk in has been a problem. I chose these for the arch support. The arch support took a little getting used to. It feels a little odd at first and it doesn't go as far into the sandal as I would ideally like. It seems to suddenly drop away. But I have worn the sandals around the house and now started wearing them to go for a walk and they are OK. Not the most comfortable sandals I've ever had but better than others I've bought recently that do not support my arches at all. I like the fact that they are washable and that the tops are not too tight. I'm confident that I will be able to wear them to go walking in and that they will support my feet which is why I bought them.

VEry pretty, great support and just overall nicely designed. They do however run big (a half size bigger). I compared them to some tevas of the same size and these were much larger.

i returned these because I could tell they were going to be uncomfortable. No way to adjust the straps and the strap on top of my foot was too tight.

Casual wear, use for local getting around. I would use for vacation. Wish the Backstrom was a little longer. It sometimes pops open. Would have given it 5 stars if the strap was longer.

I really love the look of these sandals. The color is a nice neutral with a bit of colored threads that add interest. The length and width were just fine, and the velcro-adjustable strap at the heel helps to get a perfect fit. Sadly, I could not keep them because the footbed was very uncomfortable. It is quite rigid, supposedly shaped to the bottom of a foot. For me, however, the arch was shaped too high. It was as though there was a rock underneath my arch. Maybe it is intended to work well for someone with high arches? I would consider my arches to me moderate, and this footbed just doesn't work for me.
As far as sizing -- they were just right. I wear 6-1/2 in most shoes; 7 in athletic shoes. For sandals that come only in whole sizes, I usually size down to a 6. That was perfect in this case.
Skechers, if you will make this shoe with a "squishier" or more forgiving footbed, I would try them. I have bad knees, and many of your shoes work wonderfully for me. These sandals are being returned.

Compared to other known brands that offer good foot support, this design felt comfortable at first but left the balls of my feet sore and shredded the backs of my ankles. Two weeks later I still have scabs on my ankles.

I was really looking forward to finally having a nice pair of comfortable sandals. They are very cute and I love everything about them except for these little "nubs" all around the outer edge, around the Sketcher logo and on the ball of the foot. It makes it feel like you have pebbles in your shoe and is extremely uncomfortable. For someone who has heel issues, finding a comfortable sandal is very important. These are not it. When I talked to customer service all I was told was that was how they are designed, but not given a reason as to why these "nubs" are there. I'll have to try to snip them off or buy an insert, which defeats the purpose of these shoes. Feel like I wasted money and probably will not buy the sneakers I was hoping for.

I love the style, color and footbed of these sandals. I also believe they are well made, but not measured correctly for comfortable wear. I bought them 1/2 size larger than normal because of the elastic bands, but that was not enough to make them comfortable/wearable. I tried wearing them twice. First time a terrible blister formed quickly on my heal where the strap was on my foot, plus the strapping across my feet was very snug. Once that healed, I tried again. I took the precaution of wearing heal cushions on both heals. The strapping was so snug that my feet began to swell. I have narrow feet that don't normally swell. I love other Scetcher shoes I own, but these are not going on my feet again.

Although I loved the look of this sandal, the arch was rock hard under my foot and was so uncomfortable I returned the shoes. Pity! I really like their look but I do need to walk in them too.
