I have wide toe, bunion, hammer toes, narrow heel, flat arch and instep. I wear arch supports and a variety of toe separators. When some reviewers say they have a hard time getting their foot into the shoe, I know it might be close fitting enough for my flat instep. I usually need lace-ups to clamp on. For example, all clogs have such a high instep that they fall off with my first step. These shoes felt marvelous at first try-on, closely fitting with stretchy fabric all the way to the toe. However, even with all my orthotics and smartwool cushioned crew socks, they were a 1/2 size too long. The wide width was good. Currently the 1/2 size smaller is not in stock, but I put on a "watch".

Having not purchased any Skechers shoes for years, I bought these in navy/white and all black. My feet have suffered from tons of walking in shoes not really made specifically for that purpose. I almost returned these after trying them on … I thought my big toe would easily poke a tiny hole through in no time - and thought a size 7 might have fit better. (At the time of my order, no size 7s we’re available.) I decided to keep the navy/white to try them out and returned the black. DOH!!! I so wished I’d kept the black pair, too. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I wore the navy/white pair I decided to keep, for 10 days straight. They were comfortable from the get-go, very light in weight and they actually stretched the tiniest bit so that they fit perfectly. I’m not quite sure how long they will last (especially since I’m wearing them so much!) - but I’m also curious to see how the shoe sole will wear over time. I think I am going to go ahead and re-order a size 6 1/2, in black. I am super happy about my choice / purchase! These ended up being exactly what I wanted — at a price I can afford. I have a new found respect in Skechers, as well!

Fits me perfectly. The stretchy top holds the shoe nicely on my foot. Comfortable sole. Nice looking. I really like these and will get a pair in another color.
