I really like the simplicity of this style and am trying to buy all four colors. White, black, neutral and cognac. I’m having an 8 sent in white to see how the 8 fits. I ordered the three other colors in 8.5. In Frye I’m sometimes a 9, but Frye’s of late seem to be running larger and wider. I wore the cognac and actually walked on concrete, so I don’t know if they’ll take those back. But I’m hoping the 8 will fit better. After wearing the cognac one for about half hour my foot felt like it was sliding through. So if the 8 is better I’ll send my 8.5’s back for 8. I don’t know why Frye seem to be running wider. I don’t have a narrow foot but the regular in these are a little wide. Very nice shoe for any occasion, why I’m buying four colors, if I can get the fit right. I’m puzzled as why they seem so wide. Frye for me have always seemed more on the narrow side for the regular fit not wide. Great looking shoe. Well made. Love the heal. Don’t know why also they don’t put the Frye stamp on the side of the leather. Makes me think another country is making or something. Idk

I wanted to love these shoes, however, the soles do not have decent grip (in fact, are a bit slippery) and the heel is very hard. I'm too afraid of slipping and falling. They style and quality is great, but they just aren't right for what I need.

I love these and have bought in all the colors. For me they run wide and felt a half size to size larger. When I did my regular size, I felt like my foot was going too far through the front. I never wear an 8 in Frye but an 8 in this style is what it took from keeping my foot snug and not sliding too much through the front. So I would downsize at least a half. Length was perfect at the smaller size too. I’m beginning to wonder if another country of origin is manufacturing some of the Frye styles. Style is nice for a lot of outfits. Can be dressed up or down.

GReat height for shorts, jeans, or a summer dress. Very good quality but it is leather so they do stretch. I added a toe insert for a better fit. If you’re in between sizes or worried that the top will be too big, I would recommend sizing down. The length seems plenty enough to have no problems.

I ordered these in a size 8.5 but returned them because they were too big...But the style is lovely and the leather is very soft. If I were to order these again, I would go a half size down.

I am usually a size 8B but these shoes run very large. The shoe is fairly expensive but I really liked the look and quality so I ordered a 7 1/2. It was still too large. I then ordered a 7B and they fit. The shoe was worth the frustration in the long run. Thank you Zappos for being one the best online retailers!

I wanted to love the shoe. I liked the look when it came out of the box, with a good heel height, nice color, and decent cushion. However, out of the box they were already too loose around my feet. I normally can wear regular shoes, I have a more slender foot, but rarely wear a shoe labeled “narrow.” So I wouldn’t recommend these for somebody who does not have a wide foot, especially considering that they will most likely stretch upon wear.
