I bought a pair of the black Suprhon sneakers when they came out for winter weather wearing. I so loved them, I bought another pair in the light tan color for summer wear.
Now that we're fully vaccinated again COVID-19, we're taking a trip to the west coast to visit our kids and grand kids and these sneakers are the only footwear I'm bringing.
Very satisfied.

Having recently taken up a walking regimen, I was turning my feet into a blister farm. These sandals are wonderful! I can wear them with or without socks, on any surface. They are a great investment.

I probably have the widest 9.5 foot size on the planet. Even barefoot shoe manufacturers can't fit my feet tru to size. My big toe was hanging off the side the sandal. Bought a 9.5 double wide. The shoe has to much lift in the heel. The shoes needs to be more flat.

Purchased for my mom - who has foot problems. Cute, and fits better than women's size 10 wide. Slightly more tread than other SAS shoes. Nice vector adjustments.

Purchased for husband. Next to the Sketchers, these were somewhat less comfortable, and much heavier and stiffer... Just did not feel comfortable on his feet. Do seem well made though...

The Mavericks are comfortable but it is incredibly easy to roll you ankle because the outsole contact patch is the same with as the insole, the height of the heel brings the center of gravity of the foot too high, and most critically the edges of the out sole are rounded instead of more squared off.

I have to wear extra wide shoes. These sandals are wide enough and true to length. However this manufacturer does not account for thickness of feet. if you like me have thick feet you will have trouble fastening the straps. If the straps were one inch longer the shoes would fit perfectly

Size limitations make reduces who can wear this, and other SAS sandals. I own 2 pair of SAS' Bravo sandal and was excited to try the Maverick. Pair #1 of the Bravo were 15 W and after they stretched out, were too large (plus the buckles broke). Pair #2 of the Bravo, 14 W, the overall length was OK, but I developed horrible big toe blisters. The Maverick in a Size 14 W is very close to fitting comfortably (but it is shorter in length than the Bravo.) I have to return them because my toe comes to the edge of the footbed. For some reason SAS only makes the Maverick in 14.5 in Medium width!

The sandals are heavy and the arch felt nonexistent. Perhaps it is there and just did not hit my arch in the right place.

The footbed felt very cushioned. Some people may find the shoe very heavy. The straps on this are fine in length BUT THE VELCRO grip section is very short so even though the strap itself fits comfortably over your arch you cannot possibly reach the grip part of the velcro straps

they were comfortable for the first few hours, then my upper thighs would ache and I had trouble walking, labored. This happened 4 times. I finally put them up and can not wear them.....something wrong with the design. $200 down the tubes. Really bad deal for my thigh muscles.

I have a pair of the Journey sneakers that I use for work shoes. Super comfortable for all day. They don't sell the suprhon in the SAS store near me, but they look nice, so I ordered online.
1. The sole is very different on the Suprhon than the Journey. Suprhon feels much thinner, not nearly as much support.
2. The sizing is much different. My Journey 10.5 M has a lot of room in it, but the same size on the Suprhon has my toes touching the front of the shoe, which is very uncomfortable.
They don't explain all this clearly on the website, so thought I would share.

Very uncomfortable. Even though I got the widest size available and they are adjustable, there is a strap and hook positioned right above your big toe, and the strap digs into your skin and hurts. They are unwearable. But they sure look good. Had to send back and will look for another shoe.
