If you decide to get these be aware they run very very large. I have always been a women's 9 I had to go down to a size 7. They were enormous. I really think they are unisex because that's what I am in men's. They are wonderful shoes non the less. Just order accordingly!

I love this shoe but it runs so darn large it's difficult to find the right fit. I'm usually a 10 so I ordered a 10 and it's large and I need to wear heavier socks. The 9 is too small and there are no half sizes. Extremely functional for Chicagoland weather and tromping through a soggy backyard.

They said to order a full size down from what you wear and they still were too large. Also I didn't care for how the design of the tongue was on the outside rather than tucked under the lacing. Just didn't like the look. Ended up returning them.

A perfect mud season shoe made with waterproof rubber. I was excited to find them in a narrow width. Unfortunately they were narrow enough only in the toe. The heel was loose. I tried two sizes. I am disappointed but had to send them back.

These are very well made, no surprise there. I wear an 8, occas. 8-1/2. Ordered a 7, and fit not bad. length OK, but still rather roomy, heel slides up. I took out the original insole and inserted my usual 4/4 orthotic, tried to adjust the laces. etc. Still did not fit comfortably. Maybe a heel insert, maybe thick socks (I don't want). Too many maybes. The thick leather laces are awkward to tie and look awkward tied. The final serious issue was that there are too many stitches inside. especially where the leather and rubber come together, that rub my feet. Also where the (too large) tongue is inserted. Wanted them to work. Just couldn't do it. Will be returning. I have 8B in Women's Comfort Mocs. Like them a lot. Wish they also came in mesh with a black sole, like the men's do, instead of white.

Definitely order a size down. Very well made. I ordered a wide, and it was wide enough, but they slipped at the heel. I had to return them.

Do not believe the instruction by L.L.Bean to size up on 1/2 sizes. The boots were so large that when I sized up from 8 1/2 to 9 I could stick my index finger all the way down to the bottom of the boot. Also the method of making the last shoelace tie is very odd. Other than these issues the boots are of high quality you expect from L.L. Bean

I have a treasured pair of LL Bean rubber mocs from my college days 30 years ago. Time to replace them, but at the other corner of the country I had to rely on ordering. Since the last pair were a size 10 and I always wear with socks, I went with 10 again. They are just too big, but a 9 would be too snug.

These shoes/boots were very heavy, and very large. I did read that I should order a size smaller, but that still wasn't enough. I need lighter shoes/boots on my feet.

These are a classic and I wanted to love them. Unfortunately, they were way too wide at the heel and kept slipping off the back of my foot. I tried thicker socks and I tried tightening the lace (it runs through the entire collar of the shoe) but couldn't make it work. I do tend to have narrow heels so this could very well be a "me" issue rather than a shoe issue. One other issue to be aware of - the leather lacing and tongue was very dry and stiff - could probably have addressed it with a good leather treatment, but at this price, I kind of expect to be able to wear them out of the box.

I love the ease of putting these on in the wet weather. They run BIG. I have a 6.5 shoe size with a wide foot and these, in wide are sloppy on my foot.

I like these, they run big, but the laces are terrible. I tied one of mine and the leather broke. I am afraid to keep tying them when they come loose because of breakage. I will write to customer service

I wear a size 9.5 and wanted to be able to wear warm socks with these, so I ordered size 10. It was like wearing my dad's shoes when I was a kid. 'Way too big! Returned.

I love LLBean rubber mocs but they run huge. Order one size DOWN. I did but these are still too wide even with thick socks. My feet are not narrow at all! So perhaps I will try the lined mocs. I am sorry to return these. I like the lime green color a lot.
