I've been purchasing these same shoes every year for the past 8 years. I wear them rain or shine in all kinds of weather. Comfortable. Durable. (I just wear out the heels because I walk funny). My only dislike is the leather cord they sometimes use, the hard kind that doesn't bend or tie well. I just live with it.

Runs quite large. I normally wear size 7.5- 8 but in these a 6 fit best. Once you find your size, they are very comfortable. I have several foot problems (bunions etc) but these were roomy enough in the front half of the shoe so that they didn't hurt at all even after wearing all day. That makes them completely worth it to me even with the following minor aesthetic disappointment. The tongue doesn't lay flat when you crisscross the laces through the tongue holes as suggested, especially if you need to snug up the lace from back to front to customize the fit around the heel. Instead the tongue rolls up oddly and sticks out. The alternative is to leave the tongue holes unlaced but that looks sloppier to me than the rolled up tongue. I had a pair of these years ago and I don't recall a problem with the lacing. But I needed a good pair of rain mocs and I would buy these again. They kept my feet warm, dry and painless all day in puddling rain and slush. I like the elevated heel and the general look of the shoe. Even with the funny tongue, these deserve 5 Stars.

I normally wear an 8 so ordered an 8, they are a little big but after I put an insole in (which I normally do with shoes) the fit is perfect and they feel great!

These are great for on the go. I usually wear a size 9 but 8 fits great!

I have a pair of these fabulous mocs. Size down as recommended. I wear an 8.5 to 9 & got an 8 in these. They can be a smidge wide, but work well w/mid weight socks.. I could not imagine not slipping into these shoes when it is damp, raining or even light snowfall. I wanted another pair & had a 50.00 gift card. Did an on line order, color & size available...all good. An hr or so later I receive an email that my order is cancelled. I call customer service & request same size & color, but in narrow width. Did not want or really like the other colors in my size. I'm told ok, we can proceed with the order except my gift card amount is being returned to me in the form of a check via mail. Nowhere in my email am I advised of that and It's been an hour since the cancellation & I will not be permitted to apply the gift card to my order. No way to reverse that and apply my gift card to the order. Well, thanks!

Comfy, good support, they run big, so an 8 fit me well when I usually take a 9-9 1/2

I'm a guy who reliably wears a size 10 shoe. The men's 10 moc was huge on me so I sent those back and tried to order a men's size 9, but the color I wanted was not available. It occurred to me to buy the shoe in a woman's size 11 (two sizes larger). They are the exact same shoe and it was a perfect fit. They are my new favorites!

I needed a new pair of these Bean Boots as the heels were getting worn down on my old ones. They were perfect for quickly slipping on to walk my dog and go outdoors in all kinds of weather. I have the taller boots which I love as well, but these are so easy to get into. I always wear a size 9, but know from past purchases, to order these in size 8. Perfect! Happy they are still made in Maine!

Gift for my mom who has been wearing the same pair for 30 years. She has a wide foot but the size 7 regular fit her perfect.

The rubber moc is the most practical of Bean's boots for me. I live in a deep south state and do small farm work every morning. The pastures and grass are always wet, so a waterproof shoe/ boot is necessary. This slip on style is so convenient and practical. I wear a size 8 shoe and size down to a 7 and wear them with mid weight socks as recommended and they are perfect. Thank you Patsy from the Bean Boot Team for this latest pair.

Had to send them back because you don't offer half sizes. A 9 was too big and an 8 was too small

I ordered a size 7 which is too loose, then tried a size 6 which is quite tight everywhere except the heel. Ordinary socks worn for both tries. Does anyone know if these shoes stretch over time? Thanks.

I had ordered this same moc a number of years ago but returned them because they were still slipping off after sizing down, and ordered a different rain shoe that fit perfectly, but finally wore out. Since LLBean no longer carries the other rain shoe, I decided to try these again, ordering one size down as suggested. When I first tried them on they were again slipping terribly in the heel even with my thickest wool hiking socks, and thought that I would have to return them again. But then I readjusted the leather ties to pull the shoe tight against the heel and now they fit perfectly even with medium weight socks. They are very comfortable and great for general outdoor wear.

These were just what I was looking for! I have the Bean Boots, but wanted something shorter and cooler for the warmer months. I love the color and the fit was perfect.

Love these Moc. This is the 5th pair I have purchased.

I dropped down one size in these shoes, as suggested, and ordered them in a narrow. Since my 8" lace-up Bean Boots are the same size and fit perfectly, I kept my fingers crossed that this style would be a good fit, as well. (Sometimes narrow shoes that don't lace up are still too wide for me -- you never know.) With my "regular" socks (medium thickness) there's a small amount of heel slippage when I walk, but nothing that I think I'll even notice after they've been worn a few times. With my hefty LL Bean wool rag socks, they're a perfect fit -- no heel slippage whatsoever. I read in one of the reviews that these shoes could not be adjusted by tightening the laces, but that wasn't the case for me. The laces on my shoes were rather loose when I received them, and after working them through all the openings around the top of the shoes as much as possible and retying them, I found it made a noticeable difference in the way it felt on my foot. Granted, if a really big adjustment was needed, that probably wouldn't be possible. Bottom line, I'm thrilled with these shoes and look forward to many years of wear! (Those lace-up Bean Boots I mentioned have been my best friends for working in the yard since 2008 and still have a ton of miles left in them. You cannot go wrong with these great shoes made by Bean!)
