My first thing is that these rubber shoes have a good grip while walking as the old ones did not! 100% happy!

I absolutely love these shoes! They go anywhere where the water isn't too deep, from the barnyard to the walking trail to town. I agonized over sizing because of all the comments about fit, but ended up going down a size from my regular (9 down to 8), and they are a perfect fit with medium wool socks. I had a pair of cheap-o rubber mocs, which I liked, too, but they wore out quickly. I'm hoping these are here for the long term. I'm a farm girl from central Pennsylvania.

This is not my first pair so I knew to get them larger to accommodate socks. These are practical and comfortable for wet weather in the warmer months. I have a lined pair for the winter weather.

Great for cold weather. The sole has great grip so for me it's a win. I am a size 7 1/2 and I do have to wear thick socks but it is ok since it get cold here.

Perfect! Just leave them by the door during the winter and you're ready to go!

These boots are always top notch. I started wearing them in college and still wear them today.

Love my new duck boots/moc in pink& navy blue.Leather is thick, the rubber part is solid,smooth, with nice rugged sole.Surely won't leak. Best part : Made in USA ! in Maine & proudly stated on the back. You can tell when you put them on they have good support.Normally I'm an 81/2 but 8 fit perfectly. Well Done !

I keep these by the door for running out in the rain or even snow. The shoes are comfortable for long walks too, I have found them to live up to the Bean's reputation for quality after several years of use. Still going strong, easy to slip into. I am in between sizes, so I ordered down to a 9, works for me. The leather ties do like to come undone from time to time.

The fit is perfect - I ordered one-half size lower as advised by your website. I wear these nearly every day. On a recent trip I wore them for over 12 hours. Comfortable and great with this Michigan winter weather.

Pretty comfortable, and they aren't broken in yet. They are easy to get in and out of, and really good in not to deep snow and muck.

They run a little big so plan on a heavy sock. Pretty colors!

I wanted a boot that I could just slip on to walk my dogs. These are perfect. But do heed the sizing. I'm usually a 10 or 10-1/2 and the 9 fits me perfectly with a mid weight sock. The heel is a bit loose, but not a problem.

My wife followed LL Bean's instructions on ordering this shoe and it fits perfectly.

Shoes were well-made and good-looking. Soles were comfortable under my feet. Pleased to find narrow widths. Normally a size 10, sometimes 10.5, it felt odd to order the 9, but the length was just right. My problem was the width, and difficulty drawing it any tighter. My foot moved a good bit within the shoe on each step. There are laces, but I think those are more decorative than functional, as drawing them in tight crinkles the leather tab at the front and didn't bring the shoe in close enough, enough with heavy socks. So, the sizing advice was spot on for length. The uppers were wide for me, but I am told that my foot is not just narrow, but extra-narrow. They are lovely shoes and I wish I could have kept them. The return was straight-forward. I will likely explore a different style in the future, maybe when I am able to visit a physical store to try on.

These mocs have been a lifesaver this winter. Awesome in the snow and slush. Bought a size down as recommended. I normally wear a 9 but got an 8. Also got the fleece insoles for added warmth. All around a terrific purchase

This is my first purchase of a Bean Boot. I'm very happy with this style and I expect I will look at other styles in the future. I am SO glad I looked at the reviews. I normally wear a size 9 or 9.5 shoe (going up to 10 in running footwear). But an 8 in this Bean Boot is perfect; even with a very, very thick sock. Don't be afraid to size down and save yourself some frustration.

I have had several pairs of this shoe over the years. They are my go to shoe for wet and muddy conditions. I use them at the barn or walking the dogs

I bought my duck boots 10 years ago for winters in Colorado because I wanted a boot that I could just slip on for running errands. These boots have been perfect and are still going strong even after 10 years. I am looking into getting another pair just because these ones are starting to wear on the inside a bit but I bet they'd last another couple of years. What a great investment.
