I would love to own a pair of these shoes. I am usually an 8.5 med and heeded the advice of the sizing suggestions. I ordered an 8 Narrow (not med as usual). The length was ok, but there was no way these would ever stay on my heel, eventhough I ordered narrow! Too bad. Will be returning them.

These shoes were too big for me. Too long and too wide. I'm a true size 9 and I had to send them back. Maybe order a whole size down.

I've been looking for this type of Moc for quite a while. Unfortunately, these were not for me. As much as I loved the style and color, I could not get a good fit. I tried a 9, too big, then an 8, too small. If only LL Bean made an 81/2 I would be very happy.

These boots are HUGE! I wear a size 8.5 B. I usually need to buy a 9 in sneakers and boots because I wear socks with them. After reading the reviews I bought these boots in a size 7 and a size 8. I also bought the size 9 - just in case. I really wanted these boots. The size 9 were HUGE. The size 7 were way too small. I thought that would mean the size 8 would fit. Ha! Ha! That size 8 was also too big. They are too long, too wide, and slip off my heel. What happened? I think that these boots are great. Unfortunately, I will not have a pair.

The shoes were made well but there narrow doesn't come close to fitting. Had to return as no way could I keep them on my feet.

Happy with the product; not thrilled with the sizing and product description. Normally wear 8 1/2 to 9; originally ordered an 8 based on reviews. Had to send back and exchange for a 7 which fit, but with heavy socks. The boots are great but be prepared to pay extra in shipping charges to get a size that fits. Oh, they'll send you a $10 gift certificate but that just means you spend more.

I love LLBean, but these shoes were a hassle and a bit of a disappointment. I typically wear a size 8 and my foot is wide. After reading countless reviews warning me against ordering a shoe too big, I went with a 7 and opted against order wide (went for Medium). The 7M is HUGE, and I have to send it back. Possibly, a 6 would do the trick, but I'm not sure that I'm willing to find out... I understand they are meant to be worn with thick socks, but I'm not sure that even this would save the purchase. Otherwise, the shoes are cute and well-made. If you order them, order TWO full sizes down.

i love these shoes but the 6 is just too big. I normally wear a 5.5 or a 6, but these just flop off my feet. even the Narrow ones. sad:(

After reading all the reviews, I (who normally wears a size 7 - 7.5, ordered the size 6 - it is way too small! The heel is wide and the toe box too short - I'll send it back for my normal size and see how that goes... The concept is great.

I sent this item back to be credited or reimbursed. The heightof the shoe around the ankle is too low as the other are too high. You need an inbetween one. I needed this item for my college student daughter and she stated that puddles at college are higher then the shoe.

I was excited to see that this item comes in N width, but when I ordered it I found that it fits VERY large, probably 1 to 1 1/2 sizes longer than expected. I have ordered footwear from LL Bean before and have not found it to be extra long before. I am disappointed because the shoes look good and I was looking forward to using them. Too bad!

I bought a size smaller than my regular size as recommended and they were too small. I returned them for my normal size and they are a little too large but I wore them already. I really need the half size but wore them and assume it's too late. I also got the rubber moc and they are not as comfortable as the ankle high boots I had for 20 years and loved!

Very large - I wear an 8 1/2 - ordered a size 8. Still way too big - I need to send them back.

I purchased the size I normally wear but they were HUGE overall. I exchanged the shoes for a size smaller, still HUGE overall. I ended up returning the last pair instead of exchanging for a smaller size. I was concerned that two sizes smaller than my normal size wouldn't be accurate either.

These really need to come in 1/2 sizes if you want a correct fit. I ordered down and they were still to big (with thick socks). I know the next full size down would be too small with thick socks.

I'm so disappointed. I have wanted new duck shoes for so long but these do no fit well. I'm about to return my second pair....yes they run very big so I reordered but, though they fit in the front just fine, the heel slips when walking,,,very uncomfortable.

I ordered these because I do a lot of outdoor inspections, and in the spring it can get quite muddy in Michigan. I read the reviews that these ran large, and ordered down. I wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8. These were exremely large, and I returned them an ordered a size 7. These were also too large. I will be sending them back, and I don't think I will try a 6. L.L. Bean needs to do something about this major discrepancy in the sizing.

I returned these shoes because they rubbed my foot around the inside of my instep to the point of blistering and the heels keep slipping.

Size was about 1 inch longer than typical shoe size.

I had a pair of these in highschool in the 80's and when I saw them here in navy/kelly green I just had to order them. I'm a size 8.5-9 and because other reviews said to size down I ordered the 8. They are quite big even with thicker socks but more than that, the foot opening is so large, the back is so wide and the sole is so stiff that the entire back of the shoe slips off when I walk (see many other reviews that state the same thing). If I go down to the 7 they may very well be too short in the length and even if they are not I think that due to the design of the shoe it would still come completely of my heel with each step. Shame as it is adorable and would be great in the rain and slush : ( I can't recommend this shoe.

I have been disappointed with the fit of my rubber mocs. I went by the ordering guidelines and the first pair were way too big. I reordered my regular size and the size is still too large but the width is choking my feet. They are well made and wonderful in the bad weather but my feet hurt after wearing them for just a short time -

I have had several pair of and I have always loved the old simple style lace up MOC. Then I bought this style with the tongue sticking up. Not for me. Frankly, this style looks rather silly. When will the classic look lace up come back? Bean boots are always great, but not the current MOC style.

When I tried them on in the store, a half-size smaller, they fit fine and were comfortable. Loved the look and the quality seemed typically LLB high. However, how anyone can keep them tied is beyond me. The stiff rawhide laces come undone immediately and no matter how often I tried to retie them , they loosen and come undone and I'm left with a loose shoe with the laces dragging! That poor design is likely the reason they are s1/2 price and they now offer a slip-on. Sure wish I'd had that option. I"m going to take them to a cobbler and see if they can find a way to adjust the laces so they stay tight.Otherwise they are useless to me, Darn! $100 down the drain. Maybe I should have taken them back to see if their return policy would be honored. I"ve been a loyal customer for years!

Heel kept popping up as I walked but length was good. I have them in Brown and they are great. The ones that were ordered were blue/blue.

Huge Very disappointed. Got size 6 I have wide feet yet im still walking out of these mocs. I would call them a Wide 7 Theyre useless-not sure, if I can return. Review on't allow me to show photos.
