I have purchased LLBean slippers for years and have been terribly disappointed with my latest pair. After only a month of use one of the slipper's insole wore completely down. Previous slippers would last for years. I used to tell everyone how much I loved these, but unfortunately I will never purchase again.

I have purchased or received gifts of many items from LL Bean over the years. Originally received the wicked good slides (no heel/back) as Christmas gift. Exchanged for wicked good moccasins in mariner blue size 10. Ordered size 10 based on customer service associate and size ordering recommendations to order up for 1/2 size (I typically wear 9.5). They were back ordered for 6 weeks. Finally received and they were huge; practically walking out of them. Exchanged for size 9 in black. Received a week after order as expected. The interior heel of left shoe has piece of leather/shearling backing that was not seamed/flattened appropriately and digs into the bottom of the heel (see pic). The right shoe has some poor quality/thinning shearling around the cuffed sides-you see more of the backing/lining and little-to-no shearling covering the backing (see pic) On the interior of the right shoe, the shearling attached to inside upper that should cover the stitched seam around the toes (from the inside) does not adequately cover the stitching so big toe is being poked, scratched, and is catching on the stitching/leather. My last pair of llbean moc camp slippers lasted nearly 7 years with almost daily wear and I am only replacing because the sole no longer provides enough support. I expected better knowledge of fit recommendation as well as better quality when you are paying $80 for a pair of house shoes. I will not be going to the trouble of exchanging again only to have poor quality issues. I will be returning and looking to other brands that carry shearling lined house shoes, namely that Australian brand.

I purchased these in Dec 2017 and within a year the side blew out; the leather actually split, and the stitching attaching the sole to the top loosened. I continued to wear them anyway because they are expensive and because I understood there had been a change in warranty provisions so I was stuck with them. Yesterday, the stitching finally gave and the top is no longer attached to the sole so they are now unwearable. I wear these for several hours a day but only inside and considering the cost, and my complete satisfaction with other L L Bean products over the years, I expected them to last for years.

I had a pair of wicked goodslippers that I've had for 10 years, the inside finally wore out so I ordered a new pair. I've had them 2 weeks and can already tell the quality is not anywhere near as good. The shearling on the inside is much thinner and over all the quality of the slipper is far below par. These will not last 10 years.

I purchased my first pair of these slippers and within one day of wearing them the stitching blew open and came apart. I returned them and exchanged them for the same pair. Brought them home, wore them once and the same thing happened again. Same stitch, same spot. I was incredibly disappointed as I have an older pair that I've had for 10 years that haven't fallen apart. I don't know what has happened but the quality clearly has gone down.

This is probably the 5th or 6th pair of Wicked Good Mocs I have purchased over the years. I wear them every day all day when I'm at home. I've always loved them until the latest purchase which I received last April. Due to a health emergency, I spent May through September away from home, so have only worn this newest pair since October. The attached photo shows my three year old pair on top (nice, fluffy shearling), while below that is the "new" pair which you can see looks like the fur of a drowned cat.
All of my older slippers look like those in the top photo. Something was clearly amiss in quality control with this last pair. I have since abandoned the new pair and am wearing my three year old slippers.

I have been purchasing LLBean "Wicked Good Moccasins" for decades to use as slippers. They used to be comfortable and hassle-free. They are now made in China and, one year later, they have gotten looser and the plush lining is wearing out. The most annoying part of these expensive slippers is that they do not stay tied. I never had this problem before. I am literally tying them each night so they stay on my feet.

I received these as a gift over the holidays and was very excited. Within one month of usual wear around the house, one of the strings along the side seam was broken, so now they are steadily falling apart. I emailed L.L. Bean customer service two weeks ago--no response. What a shame, both about the quality of the slippers and of Bean's customer service.

So disappointed, these are not like my older pair. I am a 7 1/2, so ordered up, returned, too big. Second pair size 7, loose heels, slipping out and too short. Will be returning these as well, and am giving. I have had my old ones 10+ years and loved them. I don't know how or why they changed

I wanted to love these and thought they were really adorable! Within a couple months of wearing them normally inside the house, the stitching came undone and unravelled. I constantly tried to fix it, but to no avail. The laces also always come untied and the slippers become loose. Very frustrating pair of slippers. I will never again buy a pair with laces of any sort or this type of stitching. I shouldn't have to keep getting out my sewing needle and restitching a slipper.

The first pair that I ordered lost a great deal of fur in a short time and customer service was great about sending a replacement. Insoles on second pair are bald also. I have had no trouble with the lacing. And they were so cozy at first!

besides being to large, i am a 71/2 and ordered an 8 as reviews said to size up, but would not recommend that. The stitching started to come undone after only wearing them a few times. I returned them at a store. Not worth the money.

I have been buying these slippers for years, nice and plush, they hold up great, this year I bought a pair in black, supposedly made the exact same way, I am beyond disappointed, instead of the nice shearling outside and inside the slipper, there is some thin fake fur product, inside and out, not that nice cushioned fit bed that felt like you were walking on a cloud, and tag says made in China, this is not the product LL Bean has been known for, definitely not worth 89.00 I hope they go back to making a quality product, or I'll be finding a different slipper, such a shame!

Poorly constructed. There is a tag in the middle of the shoe which rubs on your foot as you wear them. They're also way too big. I wear a size 10 medium and these have got to be at least a 10 and a half. The thing that really bites is that I have to pay $6.50 to return them. I will never shop with this company ever again in my life

I returned my first pair of slippers after the stitching between the top and the sides came undone a few weeks in. The second pair lasted a bit longer - 3 months, until the same stitching problem started appearing. What was really disappointing was LLBean's customer service - when I contacted them with a photo of the second pair coming undone, they wanted me to pay to ship them back to be inspected. It wasn't worth the effort a second time around - I wound up tying up the stitching that had come apart, to prevent the whole slipper from coming undone, and am now looking for a new pair of slippers (not from LLBean).
I usually associated LLBean with quality and good customer service. My last pair of these slippers lasted over 7 years. Those days seem to have gone.

I read great reviews and bought the slippers. Loved them when they came in - very soft and comfortable. The first pair lasted a couple of weeks and then got ripped along a seam. Exchanging for a new pair was a breeze. The second pair lasted a little bit over a year of regular use - I live in Vermont but work full time so only wear slippers in the evenings and weekends and indoors, and definitely not all year round. The customer service on the phone told me to bring the slippers in store, however, the store told me they couldn't exchange as it was slightly over the year. Very disappointing. I expected more from these slippers. All my LLBean products last years!!! These slippers didn't.

Initial pair showed excessive wear in the first few months. Interior shearling wore through to the base material in multiple areas. Exchanged them for a new pair which also showed the same premature wear patterns. Attempted to exchange, but as I was past the 12 month period, LL Bean denied the return claiming that holes worn through are normal wear and tear. Will not be purchasing again.

I have loved the wicked good slippers for over 25 years and recently purchased a new pair. Within a week the stitching on the upper of the right foot started to unravel. I called the company and they immediately sent a replacement. Within two hours of wearing them exactly the same problem on the same foot. Now I see many similar comments for this issue going back to February. I am beginning to rethink buying slippers from here. Customer service is great but if the product is now inferior not worth the money.

I've had several pairs of these slippers over the years and loved them, until now. These now appear to be cheaply made with none of the quality workmanship of years gone by. No support, the shearling is thin and I doubt this pair will last a year. Definitely not the quality I was expecting and even the shoe box was a cheap, flimsy imitation of boxes of the past.

The first pair I bought got a hole in the toe within a few months, no idea why. I went to the store and exchanged it, now on my replacement pair the stitching is coming undone but the local store said I'm not allowed to return any other slippers. Apparently I have been blacklisted for slipper returns.
However, my mens moccasins from years ago were great. Not sure if the difference is the more recent manufacturing date or mens vs womens slippers.

The thread came apart in toe area. The slipper offers no support. For the price I paid the slippers should have been made better.

I purchased multiple pairs of the light brown. They are comfortable but unacceptable because the dye on the fur will make your white socks brown. It comes off in great quantities. They are unusable. I've been buying these for years but always got the natural color because the fur wasn't dyed. Unfortunately you no longer carry this color.

I have worn the Good Ol Slippers from LLBean for years. Recently I purchased a new pair and had to return them twice because the lacing came out twice and the sizing has changed. The current size 10 is longer than the original. It would be great to bring the original slipper back.

The stitching is coming out on my right slipper. I purchased them less than a month ago. My previous purchases of this slipper never had this problem.
