I have been wearing these for years. Different construction, can't tell left from right except that one is very uncomfortable on either foot and the other unwearable. Please return to former quality.

I got these these slippers as a gift for my birthday in October 2021. They are comfortable and warm. The sole started coming undone a year after I purchased them. I did not bother to try to return them knowing ll bean changed their once excellent return policy. I'm leaving this review to let others know about the quality before they choose to purchase. For the price, these shoes should last years. When I pay $90 for sneakers, they don't fall apart after a year. After reading several other similar reviews, I know I won't purchase these again.

I bought these slippers back in November to have them on hand when my previous Wicked Good Moccasins were too worn to wear anymore. Putting on the new ones a month ago I was immediately struck by how insubstantial they felt--much less cushioning than all the previous ones I've bought (I've probably bought 10 pairs in the past 15 years). The laces don't stay tied, the shearling lining on the sole of the moc is already worn away. At the price you're charging, it's unlikely I'll ever buy another pair. I am so disappointed as I live in these slippers when I'm at home.

Very very disappointed. My daughter got these for Christmas and the leather began tearing at the lace holes before March. She's told me several of her friends at school are experiencing the same issue. The fact these are from LL Bean and we paid $89 I'd expect them to last more than two months. The soles even still look new.

I purchased these after reading the NYT Wirecutter ratings and I am very disappointed. As some others have noted, the toe box is too narrow and the heel is too wide, causing uncomfortable pressure on my toes while flopping off my heels with every step. I also wish they covered more of the tops of my feet for warmth. My search for comfortable, warm, slippers continues.

Lambskin lining doesn't even last a year. I wear these for very short per6ywice a day. Bed to bathroom and back . No socks, not worn during the day, never outside. This is my second pair and the lining didn't make it past the first year, again. Very disappointed in the quality for the money spent. I won't purchase these again.

After spending a lot of time ordering the moccasins over the phone, they were the wrong color. I returned them, but I’m still waiting for the credit so I can get the correct color of moccasins.

I have bought about 5-6 pairs of these shoes because I absolutely loved them. But, with my most recent pair, they ripped along the sides and grew mold, which is absolutely disgusting. Since I have owned so many pairs of these shoes, I know what they can handle. I have worn them outside and in all different types of weather and NOT ONCE have I had this happen to me with any other pair. I tried to exchange them but since I wore them outside, they refused to take them back even though they had mold on them and were ripped, because it was over a year since I purchased them. I loved these shoes more than anything and I sadly will not be buying them anymore and will not be buying anything else from LL Bean anymore if this is the quality that they are providing.

I'm a long time customer and so am disappointed to be writing this review. I bought these slippers as a gift and just learned after light indoor wear that one slipper ripped just above the seam to the sole. I contacted Customer Service and learned that I have to ship the slipper to LLBean repair in order for them to determine if I can exchange them since they were bought for Christmas 2020. Slippers from LLBean should not rip in this short of a time when correctly fit, well cared for, and not worn outdoors ever. There is no wear on the soles or elsewhere on the slipper- see photo. I expressed my disappointment to the agent and was told there was nothing more she could do. Why do I keep an LLBean credit card if they can't stand behind their products anymore?

I love the ll bean slippers. I bought my wife a new pair because they wore out. After she wore them for a day I noticed the slippers are two different colors! Hopefully we can get them exchanged or something. I'm pretty disappointed about the purchase.

This slipper is definitely not the quality it was. It use to be made in China and the lining was thick and fluffy. I used to have to push my feet into them. They would eventually conform to my feet and were very comfortable. The lining on these is thin and uncomfortable. Plus you cant tell which is right or left until you look at the sole of the slipper. I have been buying these slipper for years but I'm returning them as the quality has definitely gone downhill.

I have owned many pairs of these slippers over the years and they've always fit well, but these are significantly more narrow than my prior pairs and I will need to return. Very disappointed since they don't come in wide in the color I prefer.

They seemed fair at first. But now tightly mash the big toe - and are rather painful. (This is Wide D) And the backs are too long. They rub the heels when I walk, making simple walking uncomfortable. In other words tight at the front and too loose at the heel. And zero support. I've never noticed this in a slipper. But these seem to actually sink at the arch. Years ago, I loved the simple Bean moccasins. But unfortunately, they don't come in wide.

The Mocs themselves are great- if they weren’t used. They arrived in a plain brown box- NO tags, and missing the in show packing on one. The lining was filled with cat hair. Had to return.

Remembering my father's pair he wore for years, I purchased myself a pair of these slippers. In less than a year, the shearling was wearing bald inside and within 2 years, there was a hole starting in the leather at the toe of one shoe. These were ONLY worn inside and treated well. I understand the company's need to change return policies due to people's abuse of it but at almost $100 a pair, these should last longer than barely 2 years! I'll be going back to my $25 pair of department store slippers I toss every 2 years. LLBean has lost a customer with their declining products protected by an inferior warranty. (I have pics to prove wear but cannot upload them for some reason.)

Was very excited to get my first pair of these. Incredibly strange sizing. The front portion is extremely narrow and tight but the back portion is much too wide. I'm afraid to exchange for any others because I'm worried they will have the same issue.

You have to turn the slippers over to know which one to slip your feet into because, from the top, you can't tell the difference between right and left. LL Bean says the inside fluff will flatten down; never does and you have to wear socks to be comfortable. I would never buy these again.

Wouldn't buy again. Soles are extremely thin, and these slippers seem cheap and poorly made.
