These fit fine and were comfortable on my feet, but there was just a bit too much "stuff" around my ankles. LL Bean has a lot of slipper options and I easily found another pair that feels good to me. :)

I have a very narrow foot, so they are a little sloppy on my foot. Otherwise, aokay

Great slippers! Only thing is that you can't keep the laces tied.

So comfortable! They run a little big though. When I buy these again I will go a half size down.

I have purchased these slippers for many years, both in store and now online as I no longer live near a store. But for those of us with narrow feet, drawing them up to keep them on is an increasingly difficult chore. The pair which I just purchased seem to have a thicker leather drawstring and would be impossible for most women to double tie as was illustrated in something I saw online being done by a man. They are still durable outside but I find that over the years the inside wears away much more quickly than it once did. I think the thickness of the pile inside is not as great as it used to be. If I could find a good quality (Ugg?) product in a narrow width you would lose me as a customer on the spot. I will say that they are a good product for the price for those with big feet. Maybe not what you want to hear but at least I am honest. I am writing this more for your design and marketing people than for your other customers.

I'm devoted to LL Bean. It's not uncommon for me to take the dogs out in the morning dressed in LL Bean pajamas (the softest cotton ever!), an LL Bean robe (just the right weight!), and these wonderful slippers, especially since they come in my unusual shoe size, a 6 wide, and fit beautifully. Unfortunately, it's also not uncommon for me to trip and nearly fall over the leather strips that serve as mostly decorative "shoelaces." Even if I double knot them, they come undone, and they're just long enough to get tucked inside the slipper irritating my foot, or worse, hang out loose. I have to retie them multiple times a day if I wear them all day, which I love to do since working from home. If not for this frustration, I'd give them 5 stars, or a 5+ if they came in additional colors in wide sizes. LL Bean, please help me if it's operator error and I can do something differently to make them stay tied!

I decided to pay more for slippers since I wear them so much. These slippers were highly recommended and most reviews were good. When these arrived they looked as they did on the website. I wanted to love them but I just didn't. When I slipped them on I was immediately disappointed. They didn't feel any different then my $25 slippers. I've had them two months and the inside of one slipper's fur is matted down and the sole under it is showing. The bottom of the slipper looks pretty good but hard to say how long they will last since the inside is worn down. If you wear socks with these they are true to size. If you don't I'd recommend sizing down. Maybe my expectations were too high. I'll keep them because I do like the way they look but in my opinion they are not worth the extra $40.

The moccasin is very comfortable when fit. But if you have a narrow foot as does my wife;, the only way to make it fit better is to tighten the leather thongs. But these are very long and my wife and I both have tripped on these thongs. She even removed them, which was a mistake because the moccasins were then too loose and she is dissastified with the gift. I have also noted that the moccasin can easily become misshaped unless the foot is put precisely in them and the sides pulled up to the ankle. I don't know how these problems can be solved.

Only complaint is the ties. They come untied and the Seaman's knot is not as easy to tie as the little video makes it seem. But the slippers are warm and cozy and comfortable.

Years ago I ordered these slippers once or twice and loved them. Size 6. Wore them for years, until they wore out. But the last two times I've tried to get a pair, and I have a seriously narrow foot, I can walk out of them. And the size 5 is too short for my foot and rubs on my toes. So I had to return them and guess they are just not for me anymore. Maybe a 5 1/2 might work? Or carry them in narrow sizes?!!

These Slippers are the most comfortable I have ever purchased! The only downfall is the rawhide ties, they always come undone! I had to cut them as I was always tripping on them. Otherwise, the BEST slippers!

Slipper is attractive and cozy but there is less arch fit than the same model made by Minnetonka.

Nicely made soft leather slippers with soft comfortable fur. Because they are leather it is difficult to get a nice snug fit as they stretch. They do not keep shape. Would have preferred a more supportive side structure.

I ordered a wide, because I my forefoot is wide from years of running. So the moccasins, fell off with each step. I finally retied the the leather string as tight as I could, and now it's fine. But the moccasins are really warm and comfy especially this winter!

I normally wear a 6 1/2 but wear 7 in these slippers. I have been rebuying them for several years. When trying to buy the same slippers recently, the slippers were massive and my foot slipped out while walking. My old worn, matted down slippers fit tighter than the brand new fluffy ones. Customer service was excellent and sent me another 7 to try but had the same issue and they insisted they didn't change how they made their product. I went to return the two size 7s in the store and decided to try on one last pair that was in store and it fit just like normal. Customer service was great but I'm so disappointed that it took 3 slippers of the same size to get the fit I'm used to having. I am getting concerned about overall quality with these.

I got these slippers in December, and it's only been 2 months, and fuzz is falling off, there's a spot on the footbed that has lost all its fuzz.

I ordered these to replace an identical pair that I'd had for 10 years. Toasty warm and great fit! Just one issue the ties keep coming undone. Other than that, a well made slipper.

This purchase was because my previous pair ripped and instead of an exchange I had to buy a whole new pair. When they arrived... they were perfect except for whoever boxed them had a pen in there hand and there's a pen mark on the top of my slipper. Too far away from llbean and a hassle to return. So I'm sucking it up and keeping them as they are.

I loved my last pair, and finally ordered a replacement after many years. Love the slippers EXCEPT that they now have an irritating tag sewn into the bottom of each shoe. Why? I'm afraid that if I try to cut them out, the cut edge will be even worse. Please eliminate this irritant from an otherwise great slipper.

These slippers have always been of great quality. Since they only come in whole sizes, and I generally wear size 8.5M shoes, I ordered the slippers in size 9. They were too big. But more than that, for some reason, they've decided to put a tag on the inner side of the slipper, where the bottom edge meets the side edge. It is sharp and irritating. If I'd cut the tag out, I feared it would have made it sharper and worse. I could probably have lived with the size, but definitely not with that tag, so I had to return them.

I've been wearing these slippers for a long time. There comfortable and I like the style. What I don't like are the laces. They always untie. Very frustrating. There an expensive slipper with cheap laces. I'm sure you know about this. You would think by now LL Bean would come up with a solution. I pay good money I shouldn't have to glue them together or shorten the laces so I don't trip. I will continue to wear them but with frustration. Thank you

I love these slippers, they *are* wicked good. But the laces, the LACES! They will not stay tied no matter what I do and I trip over them all the time. But warm, comfy, and otherwise very well made.

Everything about these Moccasins is 'Wicked Good' except for having to tie the laces multiple times throughout the day. Its really annoying but I LOVE them so much. I was going to cut them off but realized I would no longer be able to tighten them so I just put up with it.

Bought these for my mother, who loved them for their softness and style. However, the sizing is extremely frustrating. Since this only comes in full sizes, the product description for this slipper says "half sizes, order up". Meanwhile, the customer fit feedback seems to indicate that these run 1/2 to a full size large. So which is it? Order up, or order down? My mom wears a size 6.5 normally, so I followed LL Bean's advice and got her a 7. Too big. Returned it for a 6. Still too big! I have now purchased a 5 and hope they fit.
