Warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, unlike the outer layer and the sole, the shearling not only compresses, but completely wears off exposing the inner footbed. For $90, they should last longer than 2 years or the inner footbed should be replaceable.

Bought these 2 months ago, fit is fine, frustrated with the lacing coming undone all the time. I ended up buying a $30 pair of slippers at CostCo with no tie. I should have listened to other reviews, darn.

I wanted to like these butThe lacing never stayed tied. And the shearling on the heel bottom fell apart after a year. Looking for other slippers right now to replace these.

No "body" to the counter. Too hard to put on as I am in a wheelchair. Not what I was expecting from past experience with L L Bean. Returned.

I ordered 13 EE but the upper is wider than the sole making it very hard to walk.

Not the same quantity I'm used too. Already damaged. Not as comfortable as passed purchases of same product over last 30yrs. Will be seeking other brands when these become non-wearable, if not before. Past slippers were made of real, and soft wool inners. Now, it has to be made with something else because its like putting your foot into home insulation. I have to wear socks in order to put my foot into them. They come with a card that reads to please allow time to break them in... i use them almost everyday, how long am i supposed to give them? Also, the leather lace has already broken.
If your buying these because your replacing the ones you had ten years ago were so amazing, strong, comfortable, and you could wear them anywhere...like I did... then your going to be very disappointed as I am. I am at a loss for as why the quality of such a reputable name brand has declined. I would recommend going back to the manufacturer they used ten years ago.

Over the years, I've probably owned 5 pairs of these - all sized 11 medium. They were great, fit right and were very comfortable. I just orderded, and returned, another pair. Same size, But they were much narrower and uncomfortable. I don't know whether it is the result of an individual defect or a manufacturing change. I plan on ordering another pair to find out. l hope the fit is right. Otherwise, I'm done with these.

This moccasin fits too tight, still after weeks of wearing them every day. They simply would not break in to be comfortable.

I'm sure these would last but THEY ARE NOT THE SAME as my others which have lasted for 20 years. Yes, I said what I said. 20 years. And then I tried these, the fit is weird, the shape is weird and they don't seem as comfortable, so I returned. They aren't as wicked as they were.

How disappointing! These are the third (and last) pair of these slippers I've purchased from LL Bean. The fit is not at all what I've come to expect from your organization; even the outside tags were stitched incorrectly and it is difficult to determine the left slipper from the right. To add to the discomfort, the internal tag was placed in such a way as to cut into the arch of my foot.
I did call customer service and to his credit, he did apologize, acknowledged it was probably a manufacturing error and offered to provide me an authorization to return / exchange the slippers.
What is disturbing is how I'm expected to inconvenience myself because of an error on the part of LL Bean,

To prefix, I work from home and have a standing desk, so I stand a lot.
Received: Jan 14th
Looks: I got the black color and it looks good.
Warmth: Medium warmth, depending on the days may have to put on socks as well.
Comfort:
According to the description:
"A contoured memory foam footbed for even more arch support and a better fit through the heel."
If this is true, then it's thin and it feels like you are standing directly on the floor. I had to purchase additional insoles (not L L Bean) to help with the comfort. For the price, I would expect better comfort.

they should have a heel pillow which helps prevent the slipping for people, like me, with narrow heels. I was sorry because otherwise they were great as long as I did not move.

Literally. Strangest pair of slippers I've ever owned because they are constantly pulling my socks off. My socks end up bunched up around my toes, sometimes five inches of loose sock on either foot! Takes mere minutes to be completely uncomfortable. The grain of the wool is going the opposite direction than my wife's pair and she doesn't have this problem. I'm not a textile designer, but I suspect that's it. Against the grain runs from toe to heel and just acts like a ratchet with each step I take. Bummer.

When i first received these slippers I loved them! They were comfortable, warm etc. Now they're not so great! I'm average size average weight, don't get to wear slippers very often (I'm very busy with full time work X2 most of the time. So it;s a treat to relax in my slippers. Here's the problem .. they are now just over a year old and the padding under foot has lost it's cushion. They are now just another pair of cheap slippers, Well made but still not comfy anymore. For the price I would have hoped they would last more than a year with light use. They have never been outdoors or wet and honestly when I'm wearing slippers I'm probably sitting more than walking because it relaxation time. Please LL Bean put some better cushioning and you'd have a customer for life! I can go buy a cheap pair every Christmas and get the same result. Hey, at least the family will know what to get me each year. Haha.

Not wide enough to be considered a wide size for my feet. I bouthg the Moc Boots II in 2016 and the Mocs in 2021 which were a little tight but after they got wet, my little toe eventually wore a hole through the side. The Mocs in 2022 seemed tighter than before so I just returned them.

I really liked these slippers initially. They were/are very comfortable and seem to be made well, however, no matter what you do, they just won't stay tied. I tried everything and nothing worked. On more than one occasion going down stairs, I had to stop and tie my slippers so I wouldn't break my neck. I finally resorted to cutting the laces off so I wouldn't trip and hurt myself.
