Unfortunately, these will be going back. They were too long but not wide enough.

I hadn't noticed that the product name changed to the Wicked Good Moccasins II until I had the email in my inbox asking me to give my feedback on these. I'd been on the search to replace what I'm guessing are the Wicked Good Moccasins I. Those are incredible...but after probably a decade (or more) of service, I've been on the search for another pair. My wife had picked me up a pair of these for Christmas '23 but upon trying them on, they were just crazy tight as compared to my current pair. Comparing the two soles, the v2's were much narrower (despite them both being M widths). So I returned them for a W width. Still much tighter than the v1 version (and the sole visibly narrower still than the v1). I don't want a scuff, but I do want a slipper that I can just slip on (hence the name).
Thought I'd give them a chance to see if maybe the shearling would mash down a little and provide a bit more room...but the new shearling material might have well just been made out of velcro (the bristly part) as just walking from one end of a room to another would cause whatever sock I was wearing to be twisted around on my foot to where it would either start coming off (I generally just wear ankle socks) or twisted up to where it was just generally uncomfortable. At any rate...LL Bean happily accepted my return and I'll hope that I can maybe make my v1's last another 5 years or so (five stars for their customer service).
The search goes on for new slippers. LL Bean...please go back to the v1 version.

leather laces will not stay tied no matter what you do. Does anyone know how to weld leather?

feel great on your feet as long as you don't mind tying them 6-12 times a day.

I wanted to really like these moccasins. They just didn't fit right. They flopped up/down at the heel. The front of shoe a little too snug.

poor bottom cushioning, the more you walk with them the less comfortable they get

When I saw the labels I was so sure that they would not be comfortable that I didn't even bother to try them on. If not for those labels, I think they would have been extremely comfortable. And the workmanship appeared excellent.

Beautiful slipper, but after less than a week of wear the shearling lining started coming up and out through the stitching on the toes of both moccasins. I ended up returning.

Once again another product that has been cheapened compared to what they used to be, seems to be a very disturbing trend lately.

This was my first purchase at LL Bean and I'm not impressed. I've heard these are the best slippers around for many years. Anyhow the left slipper has far less wool on the inside than the right slipper. It's almost like they are 2 different slippers but they're not. For the price I expected better quality control. They are warm but I would not purchase these again.

I bought these slippers for my husband for Christmas 2021. He loved them, and they wore beautifully for about a year. Then the lining in the heels wore thin and finally disappeared altogether. The remainder of the slipper is fine, but they are uncomfortable to wear anymore. And so I am now looking for slippers for this Christmas, but I won't be buying these. Not Bean's usual quality, unfortunately.

I frequently buy these for my husband for Christmas every few christmases. I bought these last Christmas in a gorgeous forest green. A year later they are literally falling apart. I'm debating if I try to replace them with another LLBean pair this year.

Absolutely loved these slippers- warm, attractive- UNTIL the shearling wore out in the heel of the right slipper. This is after a year of usage. Yikes. Called customer service and tried to negotiate a discount towards a replacement pair. Didn't work. I'm bummed. Will look around for a replacement.

Warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, unlike the outer layer and the sole, the shearling not only compresses, but completely wears off exposing the inner footbed. For $90, they should last longer than 2 years or the inner footbed should be replaceable.

Bought these 2 months ago, fit is fine, frustrated with the lacing coming undone all the time. I ended up buying a $30 pair of slippers at CostCo with no tie. I should have listened to other reviews, darn.

I wanted to like these butThe lacing never stayed tied. And the shearling on the heel bottom fell apart after a year. Looking for other slippers right now to replace these.

No "body" to the counter. Too hard to put on as I am in a wheelchair. Not what I was expecting from past experience with L L Bean. Returned.

Not the same quantity I'm used too. Already damaged. Not as comfortable as passed purchases of same product over last 30yrs. Will be seeking other brands when these become non-wearable, if not before. Past slippers were made of real, and soft wool inners. Now, it has to be made with something else because its like putting your foot into home insulation. I have to wear socks in order to put my foot into them. They come with a card that reads to please allow time to break them in... i use them almost everyday, how long am i supposed to give them? Also, the leather lace has already broken.
If your buying these because your replacing the ones you had ten years ago were so amazing, strong, comfortable, and you could wear them anywhere...like I did... then your going to be very disappointed as I am. I am at a loss for as why the quality of such a reputable name brand has declined. I would recommend going back to the manufacturer they used ten years ago.

Over the years, I've probably owned 5 pairs of these - all sized 11 medium. They were great, fit right and were very comfortable. I just orderded, and returned, another pair. Same size, But they were much narrower and uncomfortable. I don't know whether it is the result of an individual defect or a manufacturing change. I plan on ordering another pair to find out. l hope the fit is right. Otherwise, I'm done with these.
