I bought these slippers at a time when, due to a foot injury, I hadn't walked in a week and couldn't fit into any shoe I owned. On the spur of the moment, while accompanying a visitor to Maine who just HAD to see L.L. Bean, I bought these slippers, one size too big, and have been wearing them ever since. Once the feet goes in, they won't want to come out! My husband has had a hard time finding comfortable, warm slippers and has always settled for slippers he could just tolerate. When he unwrapped these for Christmas, I didn't have a chance to ask how they were. They were on his feet doing a happy dance and only come off when he needs to work outside! He had the biggest smile on his face and says these are the best gift ever. They don't pinch his feet, great traction, and WARM. Thank you LLBean!

Ordered a 1/2 size larger because they did not come in 1/2 sizes. Recommendations advised this.
