I love love the 850 jackets from LLBean. I have the longer version as well and they are the warmest and most comfortable coats I have ever had. I had another more expensive brand which I feel was inferior to this jacket. The fit is perfect. I'm 5"1' and weigh 110lbs. The XS regular is great. I don't like petite. I prefer the jacket longer

More generous fit is great! Warmth is great! Petite sizing is great. My better half tried one of the twenty-something trendy brands last year and it was too fitted to be comfortable. LlBeans is more generous but still flattering and warm. Petite sizing is great as she doesn't need to roll up the sleeves.

These are great jackets! Our house is kept cool so I wear them indoors from fall through spring. And I like the L.L. Bean jackets because I can get them in petite sizing, so the sleeves are not too long.

Great jacket. Light and warm. Perfect for our Vienna trip. Got one size up to have space for sweater and scarf.

I love this jacket which I purchased in a beautiful raspberry color. I am very short and I like to keep a slim silhouette or I look like the Pillsbury dough boy! This jacket is slimming without sacrificing warmth and is of very high quality. Exceptional purchase!

I returned because I wanted a lighter jacket. Otherwise it was very nice and a good purchase for someone that wanted to have warmer jacket.

Light, warm, comfortable and stylish! Bought this to bring as a winter coat on a trip where I could only bring limited luggage, and it was absolutely perfect.

Love this parka! Warm & roomy enough for a vest or heavy sweater. Ordered my usual size medium petite as I don't like my parka too long. Sleeves are the right length for me as I have long arms.

I had a black one like this for 9 years. My husband has had one 7 years. The back of my jacket snagged and I was losing feathers out of that hole with every step. It was near the end of the cold weather so I gave it to an unhoused person and waited, impatiently, for LL Beans new colors. Was not disappointed. This red is beautiful and of course has all the features, qualities and warmth of this jacket.

I love the fact that this is down and not alternative fillers. The jacket has wonderfully long sleeves and well made. I layer in extremely cold weather. My other jacket I've had for years, but decided to treat myself to this color. I can count on quality products from LLBean!

Love these super-lightweight, very packable 850 down, warm jackets. They layer well and seem to adjust themselves to be comfortably warm no matter the outside temp - a little like your cashmere sweaters do.

I love this lightweight warm coat! I can't even tell I have a coat on! I did order a 3XL but am going to return it. I ordered the same coat in a 2XL which should be perfect. I am losing weight so this is my problem with the sizing! The color of the sapphire is gorgeous. I highly recommend to anyone.

this coat is a favorite of mine. I have it in four different colors!!! its soft and packable so warm to.. For a plus size gal this coat looks amazing on.. I always have a lady asking where did you get that coat... Its just amazing you will not be dissapointed!!!

Really love this jacket for its warmth, light weight, and versatility. Ordered a regular size and exchanged for a petite. Definitely improved the fit, particularly the arm length.

I bought this a few months ago to prep for a winter trip to France. Hands down, the best jacket I have ever owned. Very, very warm. Wore it again recently during an extremely windy, rainy and cold day in Northern Island. It blocked the wind completely. Never felt the cold.

This is a beautiful coat. Lightweight, great fit, and easy to move in. I haven't worn it out in the cold weather yet since I bought it post-season, but I imagine that it will be quite warm. I actually brought it with me to several Outdoors Gear stores for comparison before deciding to keep it. It rated at the top each time. Looking forward to wearing it next winter.

I really like this jacket, I am 5'2", 115lb, XS fits me perfect. I first ordered the small and gold/yellow color, but small is still big and the actual color look like yellow mustard and shows the black feather like many other people complained. so I exchanged to XS and deep lagoon. It fits me perfectly, warm enough and light enough for spring/fall in mountains.

i Purchased a gold coat with a hood like this and I went a size larger so I could wear it over a sweatshirt........very pleased!!

Light and warm. I have so enjoyed wearing this jacket this Fall/ Winter season. A perfect combo of light in weight but very warm. Great packable jacket for a trip on a plane or backpacking.

Jacket is warm and comfortable. I might have been able to purchase a S instead of M, but I wanted it large enough for heavy layers beneath to work in our coldest temps. It will work well in both cool and very cold outdoor activity. Just one rather odd thing about it... the zipper is 'backwards' from any jacket I've ever had. It's hard to explain but the 'zip mechanism' and placket are opposite. But it works just fine.. And I'm happy with it.

Great jacket. Somehow both extra light and very warm. Fits great.
