Ordered this jacket and received it today. I can't comment on warmth yet, but it fits perfect. Room for a few layers underneath. I wasn't sure if I would like the crimson color. It looked shiny online, but I love it! Looking forward to enjoying the outside in this jacket!

I am very pleased by how quickly the item arrived (I ordered Express Delivery), quicker than expected, and by how well-updated and efficient Package Tracking is. To me, this shows LL Bean invests in good shipping and tracking, which makes me trust it more. The jacket itself is very soft and light, and a rich-but-tasteful purple color. Plus the jacket is comfy and warm when worn outside. The jacket is a little boxy in terms of size and slightly loose in the upper arm area. This is my own personal aesthetic issue (a clothing item would naturally look different on people with different sizes and shapes), and not a criticism of the comfort quality. I had tried size L at a store, and size L was a tiny bit snug, hence why I ordered XL.

I have the 850 down sweater which I also love, but added this as a warmer jacket for winter outdoor activities. I was out snowshoeing with just a base and fleece layer underneath on a 15 degree snowy day and was toasty warm. It is so lightweight and allows for great range of motion for walking or other activities. I got the Dusk Blue on sale and love the light teal color.

I love, love, love this jacket! I got it in Medium/Petite, blue. Many compliments on the color. Light weight and warm. Depending on the temperature here in Wisconsin, I wear a light weight shirt or a sweater under it. I'm definitely taking it with me on my Alaskan cruise in May.

I am so glad I picked up this warm, soft, lightweight cloud of a jacket. I had originally purchased the Women's Plus 2X Mountain Classic Down jacket, but it was alot heavier and bulky. The 2X I ordered fit, but was tight in my arms. When I went to exchange it, they were out of my size. So back to the drawing board. I decided on this Ultralight down jacket in a 3X. The 2x in this down jacket I feel would be too tight on my upper arms, so I am glad I ordered up. The 3X fit perfect with room for layering, and is not constricting in my arms and it passes the hug test. I really liked the Mountain Classic down jacket, but this one is lighter and doesn't skimp on the warmth. It's a plus that it packs into its pocket because I love to travel. L.L. Bean made sure this jacket had all the little details. You get what you pay for, and I can't wait to get years of use out of this jacket. I didn't pay full price for this jacket, but I feel it is worth it. I am glad I chose this winter down. If you are worried about sizing go up!

A great fit and maybe weighs a pound. Good for cold weather in Oregon but not much snow. The down is perfect.

I wanted something a bit longer and warmer than my LLBean down sweatersI've purchased two of those and love them. The jacket fills that bill and I'm pleased. That said, I wish it had the outside zipper chest pocket that my now discontinued style down sweaters have, and I think that at this price we should be able to expect a two-way zipper in front.

i was apprehensive when ordering reading semi fitted, no plus size woman wants any fitted anything, so when i received the very light jacket to my surprise, it was perfect ! i like to order up because i hate anything tight, this had room without looking over big ....the color was omg beautiful, that smoked blue, so pretty ....i haven't bought a jacket in 100 years, this is a sure keeper for many to come ....yes im very happy with my purchase and i love llbean

I bought the 1x and it fits like a size 18. Plenty of room for a sweater underneath (compared to other items the same size in my wardrobe). Great quality and fit. I would definitely repurchase in the future.

I bought this for my sister and she loves it! It's comfortable and warm. She was worried about being able to get her hands through the cuffs as she has some mobility issues and this jacket has ample room. She is very happy with her gift.

I love the light weight of this jacket. It feels like air, and is totally warm, has perfect pockets, and an easy to zip zipper. What more could you ask for? Seriously, it fits very comfortably with room for arms to move. I'm happy with my new winter jacket.

I'd been looking at this jacket for ages when I finally broke down and ordered it. I'm so glad I did! As a Pacific Northwest transplant to the upper Midwest I was well stocked for rain, but less for bone chilling cold. I needed something g between my giant Michelin man long down coat and my gortex shell. This fits the bill beautifully and is super cute besides! I'm really pleased and suspect it will get a lot of wear this fall/ winter The jacket fits as expected. I have room for a light layer underneath. And the sleeves are long enough! So tired of jackets with sleeves that are too short. Thank you, LL Bean! My one complaint/ suggestion is that this jacket needs a two way zipper. With a two way zipper it would be perfect!

25 degrees in the NW on 27NOV20 and I'm biking on a 10 mile trail at 0630 in a pitch black morning. I have another LLBean jacket on top. In fact, I was dressed in ~$600 worth of LLBean clothing +gloves and was too hot.
