Love this coat. Lightweight and warm. Perfect for traveling.

I got the Mariner Blue one years ago and I love it. It's so warm even though it's thin and lightweight. I wear it everyday during the Maine winters. I love the length and also the extra zipper at the bottom so I can create space for my hips and legs to flex when I'm sitting down. I have washed this coat so many times and it still looks new. Worth the price because it's a keeper for years to come!

Exactly what I was looking for! The length is perfect (mid thigh) and the coat is not heavy at all. Fits well even with a sweater underneath. It is not something you would wear on very cold days if you plan on being out for a while, but layered, it does the job!

Warm and lightweight. Good coat for Minnesota winters, especially when above zero. Not bulky when going in and out of places. Not sure about below zero with strong winds.

5'7", 147#, curvy through hips Ordered a M but was too roomy, exchanged for a S and the fit was much better. Still plenty of room for a sweater. Very warm for it's weight, even with light layer underneath. Pockets are fleece lined which is great if you forget gloves often like I do. Love the elastic cuff at wrist to keep cold out.

I bought this coat a year ago and it is still great. Warm enough for walking outside in a Minnesota winter but lightweight, with a little shape at the waist so it looks nice for dressier occasions. I wear it everywhere.

This is a great coat. Keeps you warm and no sweating. This past week's freezing temperatures I was warm in this coat. Didn't feel it. When you go inside a store or the car; the temperature seems to adjust. No overheating. I have the extra long version, the vest, along with this shorter length.

This is a lovely coat. Very warm. I normally wear a petite medium but I purchased a petit large so I would be more comfortable . Excellent quality..

It is so cozy and warm. I love that it was light weight. I was in the rain with it and it dried quickly once inside.

Great coat! Replaced my 650 EB coat with this one after several years and it's wonderful. Warmer and a little longer than my EB coat. Fits better and lighter weight. Warm enough for running errands around town in Montana winter.

The nice thing about this coat is that you don't need to wear a lot of clothes underneath It's incredibly warm. Hence, it's a nice fitting not big and bulky. I usually wear an extra large at LLBear it felt more comfortable with the Plus. Not a big difference!

I actually love this coat now even though I didn't at first. As others said, I thought it was too thin and wouldn't keep me warm. So far, I've worn it in cold Vermont winter days and I have put layers on underneath to make it work. And it does! What I love the most is how light and easy it is to wear and carry. The color wouldn't have been my first choice if there had been something brighter. But this maroon plum color was the brightest to choose from. I have put a red striped scarf and a red beret with it and it brightens it up perfectly and the tomato red and the plum color go well together and I will enjoy for this winter anyway. I actually think if it gets frigid for a long time I imagine I would actually wear this underneath my heavier LL Bean down coat to be completely toasty. ;-)

I purchased this coat to replace one I have been wearing for 5 years. I want something warm, yet light and "packable". I purchased this coat and it is the BEST coat I have EVER purchased. I live in Iowa and our winters are horrendous. I can go out, walk my dog, go shopping...everyone around me is complaining about the cold, and I am just smiling! Thank you! This coat is a life-saver because I am a big baby in the cold! Also, it packs away in my backpack! I travel a lot for work and so easy to store on a flight!!!

This is a wonderful coat! Best I've had in years. Warm, lightweight, packs into itself, and did I mention it's WARM AS TOAST despite all weathers?

Warm and light. Needed an everyday coat that flattered but keep me warm and dry! And this is it!!

The coat is warm,very comfortable even while driving and water repellent.I find wool hats itchy,so the hood is great and looks nice. I bought the same coat 7 years ago in black and it still looks new. The plum color is lovely.

This coat is replacing its original form from 10 years ago. This one is so much cozier, the fabric is super soft and flexible, and it is very warm. I'm happy it kept the double zipper so when I'm in the car I can unzip the bottom. Believe it or not that is important. It's wind resistant! I haven't been caught in the rain yet, but I bet it will live up to it.

LOVE this coat - exactly what I was looking for. Fit is perfect, weight is VERY light but keeps me very warm on my daily walks in Buffalo, NY
