This is a warm, cozy jacket with a perfect fit..I loved it! BUT I bought it for a trip and the zipper on the pocket broke after only a couple of wears (and no washes)! As I had bought for traveling where the zipper pocket was really important, I was quite upset that it didn't even last the trip. It's going back.

I liked the softness and warmth, but absolutely cannot wear this. Why? Because the collar where the zipper closes, is so stiff that it pokes you in the chin all the time. It is VERY stiff in the front of the collar and therefore very uncomfortable.
Also, I wish that for the fleece sweaters and jackets that the sleeves and bottom and around the collar could be hemmed, and not bound. The material lays better and is softer when hemmed.
Finally, at the top of front zippers in these garments, something to cover the top of the zipper so that you don't feel it would me nice. A few garments have this tiny baffle - it would be nice in all.

The quality of the jacket was ruined by the white pockets. If the jacked was open or the pockets were unzipped, the white was an eyesore. Should have been same color as jacket or at least navy. Returned for refund.

I like the jacket, it is soft and comfortable, however inside the pockets are white so if your pockets are unzipped, the jacket just looks sloppy. The pocket color should have been the color of the jacket.

Love the color (muted purple), the fit, even the customer service. I bought one and the pocket zippers broke within a week. I received a replacement and three months later one of the pocket zippers broke again. Don't see many others having this problem, but I do see it listed in reviews for the longer version and I assume the pockets are designed the same way. Probably doesn't help I stick my hands in the pockets while holding my dog's leash but never had a pocket zipper break on any other jacket over the years and it happened twice with this one.

I have had fitness fleece jackets for years. Ordered a sweater fleece because I couldn't find fitness fleece in the recent catalog. Turns out fitness fleece is now online and being phased out. Also sold out online! for a reason! we like fitness fleece and please bring it back. It is perfect for indoors. Sweater fleece is way too thick and warm for indoors. And the same size of Regular Large also ran bigger and baggier than the fitness fleece which fit my 5' 9" and thin frame perfectly. I swam around in the sweater fleece. Please more fitness fleece!

Had to return. Didn't like the fit. The material and color were great but the bottoms flared out.

Purchased this jacket in 'soft spruce.' I would LOVE it were it not for the LIGHT TEAL TRIM on cuffs. zipper, collar, etc..In my opinion, it ruins the jacket, makes it clownish - which is not exactly the look I was going for. It's especially unattractive around the hips. LL Bean designers: Please consider this same colored jacket with a darker, more compatible green trim.

Not useful for jogging as fitted style too tight, too stiff for movement, pockets on sleeves useless. Styling too girlish. This was the recommended size per chart. Noticed that mens sweater fleece remains functional in style & color choices. LLBean has lost me as a customer.

I'm very disappointed with this fleece jacket. The pockets should have the same color as the coat, not a white that shows conspicuously when unzipped. The color is also too stiff and will not stay down. I would like to know how I can go about returning it

I bought this to wear outside on medium-cool days but it's too uncomfortable to wear in any circumstance. The body of the jacket is stiff and the arms too short. When I raise my hands above my head the jacket lifts up and exposes my belly.

Fabric is stiff. White lining for pockets is ugly when pockets are unzipped. Overall too large.

The sleeves were too tight, especially with another shirt underneath. I returned it.

I bought 2 of these fleece jackets last year in size medium tall. They fit perfectly... long sleeves, yet closely contoured in the torso (5 stars). I was expecting the same fit in the one I purchased this year (not). This years fit is way too big and baggy... like it's been re-designed for a fat person... not good at all.
Disappointed,

Purchased this jacket for my mother in her usual size, XS Petite. She already has this jacket in other colors, the same size. This jacket was purchased through the LL Bean website and arrived from Mall of America. It was obvious the jacket had already been worn, washed, and put in the dryer. The sleeves were even rolled up a couple of inches, like someone had worn it. The jacket was not in the usual clear plastic bag like when an item arrives new from LL Bean. It was inside the green mailer bag with no protection around the garment. It was the kind of experience you would expect from a second hand store but paying top dollar. I am shocked as this is the first time I have ever had this kind of experience from LL Bean. I only hope this is not a sign of things to come when purchasing items from LL Bean. I don't mind paying more for quality but this purchase doesn't even come close to the kind of quality LL Bean is known for.

The item is way overpriced. Material is stiff and has a funny smell. Returning.

I can only wear this jacket around the house now, the pilling is so bad. Can't even wear it in public. Not buying again. At least it is warm!

I received this as a Christmas gift. I loved it, Comfortable and warm. Looks fits great. I've worn it about 10 times: Silk fabric on wrist began to fray and rip. I brought the jacket back to LLBEAN and without a receipt they would not exchange for a new jacket. They did try to search by my son's name and address and could not find the purchase. I thought LL BEAN would replace within a year without a receipt. I really love so maybe I will find someone who can repair the rip.

The description of this jacket said it was slightly fitted. I ordered a tall size large, as I am 5'9" and LL Bean's regular size long-sleeve items rarely have sleeves long enough for my arms. I was incredibly disappointed in this item. The light gray color was much uglier in person than online. While the arm length was perfect, the hemline came down past my butt - so much more of a tunic length, when I was hoping it would hit at mid-hip. The shoulders were almost too narrow, but the waist area was much too loose to be considered "semi" or "slightly" fitted. But a medium would have been too tight across the bust / shoulder area. Additionally, calling this a jacket is misleading - it did not feel heavyweight / warm enough to me to be considered anything more than a sweatshirt. So frustrating. Definitely not worth the $.

I had this jacket and LOVED it. I took it on trips all over, and it performed wonderfully. I even got engaged on a cliffside in Scotland while wearing my jacket. I couldn't have asked for a better jacket. Then I lost it.
I was unable to get the same color, which I was pretty bummed about. It hadn't even been that long, probably not even a year. When the new jacket arrived, I tried it on and was instantly disappointed. Everything about it was the same except the fit. The shoulders are much too narrow and it gave me back aches to wear even for a short while.
I soooo much wanted to love this jacket again, but I cannot afford $6.99 to send this thing back and forth to find "the one." It's ridiculous. Every other company is offering free exchanges and returns. And with stores not being open near me, I have no choice but to pay to return this disappointing item.
Not to mention the quality being in question. With costing sooo much money (really, who has an extra $90 to spend on a little jacket?! It should AT LEAST be made of organic cotton and made in the USA for that much... but no, it's polyester and made in Jordan.) How can two of the "same" articles of clothing fit so vastly different?
I could not be more disappointed. This may be my last LL Bean purchase.

The very stiff collar on the fleece DOES NOT fold down.....so it scratches my face and catches makeup constantly......creating a brown rubbed area on the collar. AND the torso area is loose and not fitted making for an ill fitting fleece that looks awful.......will not purchase again.

This jacket fits beautifully but I should have returned it before I took the tag off. I still have not worn it. I HATE the ugly logo LLBean now puts on EVERYTHING including coats.
I would like to buy a new coat but will not walk around wearing a logo.

I have always wanted this jacket and I finally got one for Christmas, but when I tried it on the sleeves were too short for me. I'm 5'11 and need longer sleeves please offer a Tall version for us gals that need extra length in the sleeves.

The sweater fleece jacket looked awkward and bulky. The material was not pleasant and the fit was unattractive to say the least.

I have three of these sweater fleece zip up jackets and wanted this one for the different color. The first three jackets have NO logo on the front at all. This jacket has a huge, ugly logo right on the chest. UGHHH! What were you thinking, LL Bean?? I would not wear this jacket if it were free, because Bean would need to pay me for advertising its company. I am sending it back immediately. :(
