I loved the 3 Sweater Fleece Full-Zip Jackets in Petite Large I bought 2017-18 so much I bought 2 more last year, 2018-19 in new colors, also Petite Large. I didn't care for the new chest label and didn't really find occasion to wear these (yet) but just bought a new one in the new evening blue color as I had liked the original style. Trying it on, the fit seemed a little skimpy. As I tried on, measured and compared to the prior 2 years, I found each year smaller yet by width, including the shoulders - lengths including sleeves seem the same. Had I anticipated this, I would have tried Petite x-large this year, but will probably just keep this one to wear under a coat or if I'm at a lower weight. I would still "recommened" this with the caveat that it may run small and be too sporty for some occasions with the chest lable.

Fit is good. Material is good. One thing I would definitely change: get rid of the LLBean logo on front, so the jacket can look a little less casual. Collar is a little on the tall side.

Bought this item to wear in Ireland in September. Discovered it is not windproof and needed to pair it with a windproof (that was also waterproof) jacket to be fully warm and comfy. Also I have a short neck and found that the collar was constantly rubbing my chin.

I have two pull over versions of this sweater I purchased last year. I really like them. I like the idea of a full zip, jacket style and wanted another color. This one is more snug in the arms than I prefer so it limits what I wear under it to thin and slippery type tops. The collar is a bit tall and doesn't roll down as well as I'd like. Love the red color. The fit through the body is perfect.

This is a nicely made jacket. A couple of friends had recommended this style to me, I liked the Kelp green color...so I ordered. I am tall, but wanted a shorter jacket since I prefer hitting at waist on the length. I ordered the Petite Small which hiit where I wanted at the waist, but the sleeves were shorter than I would have liked (but knew this may be the case since I ordered the Petite). I like the "princess seaming" and zip pockets. The one thing that is different abt the outside of this fleece, is that animal hair, straw , etc. tends to get stuck in this fleece ...versus other poly fleece jackets which I can just quickly brush off extraneous materials. This may only matter to me since I am a veterinarian. All in all, like the jacket. Have not laundered yet.

Originally returned a small for the xtra small. Xtra small was a perfect fit over a medium weight shirt. Soft, substantial and nicely fitted. Love the jacket, but as so many others have stated, the overly prominent advertisement on the chest needs to go. At least place it on the hem, if nothing else.

LL Bean is getting carried away with advertising. I loved the sailcloth color (oatmeal) but smack up front is the sewn-on LL Bean label! Too in-your-face. It really limits the usefulness of the jacket. Please limit the labeling to discreet sizes and placement. Subtlety is more effective.

I have never bought an LLB item that i didn't love. I liked the style and the color of this fleece jacket.
It fits my size nicely, however the cuffs are very narrow. I have very slender wrists. The cuffs are a little too snug even for me. Impossible to roll them up. My fleece looks like the one in LLBean catalog photo.

I really like this jacket/sweater with the full zipper. I purchased one last year and when I wanted to purchase another they didn't have them. So now I'm ordering two more in different colors. However I really hate the logo on the front on the sweater. It turns what could be a nice versatile sweater jacket into something very casual. With great effort I removed the logo last time and plan to do it again on these when they arrive.

The sweater fleece jacket is nice, but I am returning it because I really hate the LLBean lable in the front, it looks like a name tag. It's bad enough to have an smaller embroidered brand name lable on my clothes (and having to pay for advertising at that), but to have this big tab sewn on is too much. If you have to have this ugly lable on there, put it on the sleeve, down by the cuff

I love the color and feel this fleece jacket! I love how it looks and fits for the most part. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that the bottom flares out and is very loose and it looks funny and would let cold air up into the inside of the jacket.

This is a great piece. Fits comfortably loose, yet not at all too bulky to be worn as a layer under a light parka. The LARGE fits my broad, athletic shoulders and isn't tight over my 37C chest (as many others of this type are).
Would have loved to get one in another color. However, I purchased mine before they stitched a label onto the front; and it's easily dressed-up with a scarf. Sadly, that label kills this jacket for me. I won't buy another one.

I own 3 of these in different colors as I love the style and fit. Always get compliments, and I have recommended to friends. I just went online to purchase another (my original jacket is starting to look slightly worn after 5+ years and many washings). But you have added a large logo to the front of the jacket! Why on earth ruin a classy piece of clothing with that? No purchase today unfortunately as I am disappointed by this change.

I bought this jacket in orange and in navy, and especially like the orange color. The jacket fits snugly without being tight, and the sleeves are not too long. I bought it in petite, as sleeves are always long on me. You can push the sleeves up out of the way without having to fold them back and they stay. The snug fit is slimming and it is warm without being bulky. The only negative thing I have to say is that the stand up collar is a little stiff, but maybe it will soften with washing. I like that it is casual but trim and neat enough looking that you can also wear it with a dress or skirt so it seems pretty versatile. I am not generally fond of being a walking advertisement with company logos on clothes, but the Mt Katahdin logo is very pretty.

Loved everything about this fleece jacket except for the LL Bean Logo. It was easy to remove, which I did. Do not care for advertising on my clothing.

It's a well made jacket, but the area just below the neck between shoulder blades is inexplicably puffy. It's noticeable.

I almost did not purchase this due to the overly prominent label. However multiple reviews stated that it came off easily with a seam ripper. I did order and sure enough it came off easily and no glue. My size in misses was sold out so I ordered a petite as I'm short waisted and it's a long sweater. It hits at my hips. The sleeves are a tad short but I have long arms. I debated between a large and medium. I have a 34D bust. I opted for the large which fits the girls nicely (no squeeze) but pretty roomie around the waist. I was a bit disappointed that the weave wasn't denser. All in all I like it, it's soft and pretty (blue sapphire).

I love these jackets - I have 3 that I bought a couple years ago that I live in. I just ordered more in some other colors, and discovered they have put a LL Bean tag on the breast pocket area. It really looks bad - it stands out, and now this jacket is not as dressy as it used to be. There is no way to get it off. I used to be able to bring them along to wear with a nice scarf and dressy pants, but the new ones don't work at all except for gardening and work around the house. Very disappointed.

This was a good choice for a very nice warm jacket/sweater that one could wear for 3 seasons and in Minnesota, even in some of the summer evenings. It has great pockets, warm and cozy lining. I like it. I generally buy XL in petite and the length on the sleeves and jacket are good for me. It is, however, just a wee bit too fitted for me to love it, unfortunately. All this being said, I will definitely keep it.

I like the sweater fleece material, and I wish the sleeves were roomier near the shoulders. It's somewhat difficult to get it on over a shirt or turtleneck top.

I love the cut and the fit, except for the really tight sleeves. The body is roomy and could fit a sweater but not the sleeves. Trying to work outside has been difficult as I feel too restricted and have to go back to my old jacket. I really like it but have stretched the sleeves to make it work.

Love the fabric and color (sailcloth looks far nicer in person than in the catalog) but the sleeves are a bit short on me, the waist sits a bit high, and would like it to be more fitted in the waist area in order to keep the cold air out.

This sweater is a nice option for cooler days. Bought the sapphire and like the color. Particularly like the "inside" pockets to carry ID and essentials for daily walks. I bought the petite extra large and the sleeve size is just right but I thought the x-lg would give me room to layer underneath. It's a little snug for that.

Love the style of this little jacket! The front zipper is nice & easy to start & zip keeping the cold out. Feels like a soft hug with the fleece inside the sweater! More closely fitted than I prefer so I sized up to XL, now the sleeves are a little long but I'd rather that than not be able to wear a sweater under the jacket. Love the color selection & went with the Evening Blue. Haven't washed yet but am sure it will wash well, not sure I'd put it in the dryer. My only criticism is the LOGO sewn on the chest. I really don't like this version of the LLBean logo & am annoyed at needing to remove it to achieve the clean & sophisticated look I like. Would love a more discrete logo if it's necessary for it to be applied to the outside of the garment. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, so please reconsider LLBean.

Purchased a Petite Large in Pewter- size was good, sleeves a little long. I would have given 5 stars if it didn't have a logo on it. Fabric is lovely, but the zipper top at the neck is a bit scratchy. Overall, a good purchase and I would recommend it.
