Warm and cozy! Great construction and styling, retains shape and color after many washings. Super warm without being bulky. I have purchased this in three colors now and I have been thrilled with every selection. LLBean quality in the best possible way...you won't be disappointed with the purchase. I give this item 5+ star rating!! :) My only comments (not negatives, but cautionary if you care...) is that in the dark plum with light pink trim, I have noticed that the light pink could get a bit soiled because it is light in color. Also, the pocket linings in the medium blue jacket is white (the lining in other ones I have is a dark color); the white lining just looks a bit weird if I leave the pockets unzipped (so I just make sure to keep them zipped). These two color comments would not prevent me from recommending in any way...just a 'heads up.'

I ordered petite small, sleeves were three (3) inches too long, and the body was two inches too tight around my middle. Loved the color & the fabric. I returned the product immediately, still waiting for my bean bucks credit. I LOVE LLBEAN products, almost every thing I wear. I also returned black med petite denim jeans, decided I will wear the three pair of LLBean blue jeans I own during the cold weather, don't need more jeans.

I loved this jacket when I saw it online and when it arrived in the mail. I had a similar LLBean jacket to this one for many years and loved it. Unfortunately, on the second day when I went to wear it, I saw that zipper had broken on one of the pockets. Zippered pockets are a must for me to keep keys, phone, wallet, etc. from falling out, and so sadly I returned this jacket.

It's as expected. I like the clean look of the sweater exterior. The fit is true to size.

I have several of these jackets - Love them. But won't be buying more right now because I do not like the placement of the LLBean label on the chest. It used to be (more appropriately in my opinion) at the hip. Please consider going back to that placement. Thanks,

This was a Christmas gift from my daughter. I have always loved sweater fleece. It seems to be the perfect outer layer for many days in the winter in the south. We have a lot of years experience with L.L. Bean having lived up north also. One of the zippers on the side pocket broke after only wearing it two times and as always, they help me quickly turn around and receive a new one.

Love this jacket! I decided to buy a second one. The sizing, however, was not consistent! Darn. The brown raisin in large fit me perfectly so I ordered the field rose in large as well but it was huge and stretched out around the waist. I will return it and try again, hoping it was a defect. For reference I am 56 and 125 pounds. I like things to be a bit roomy for layering and the brown raisin fit perfectly! I hope the second field rose will fit well and the first one that arrived was a defect. I also did order the pullover in the same line and the large was also perfect!

I am thrilled with the raisin color, very flattering. Fit is perfect, nice weight. I will have years of use out of this sweater jacket!

The sizing is accurate. The jacket is nice and warm.

The arctic blue color is beautiful! The interior pockets are made with white lining, so if the pockets are unzipped or the jacket is not zipped up, the white color spoils the look of the whole outfit. My other jackets in the same style have black liners, and doesn't interfere with the overall look.

This jacket is a good addition to my winter wardrobe. It's warm without being too hot to wear indoors. The fit is flattering and comfortable. Also, I have received several compliments on the Artic Blue color.

Warm, plenty of pockets, dresses up or casual. Fabric is a nice change from fleece.

I love the look of this jacket hanging in the store. When I found one in my size (I usually have to get a 1X size in LLBean tops to get the sleeves to fit) I ordered it right away. I hadnt noticed while looking at them in the store that the pocket lining didnt match the outer jacket & is often visible while wearing it (no the sizing isnt incorrect) It was some sort of flannel white-ish gray color that I have found in inexpensive jeans. Still debating whether to keep or not as I really DONT like that look.

I bought this full zip fleece because I wanted pockets that zip up. (I am tired of having my iPhone fall out of my pocket when I sit down.) LLBean calls this a "sweater" fleece. It is not soft material like a sweater, a bit stiffer perhaps because of a synthetic fabric used. However, it's ok. The mallard blue color is lovely and the fit great. And it is warm. The problem is that within two months, the zipper on the right pocket failed to work. I opened it, and then when I went to zip it up closed, it wouldn't. On closer inspection I saw that one could not see the bottom stop of the zipper (was it sewn inside the garment?), and that the zipper tracks were quite lightweight nylon. I think the zipper had pulled apart and there was no way to get the slider to join up the two sides and get it to work again. I have bought full zip fleece jackets from LLBean before, and ones with zip pockets, and this is the first time I have seen a zipper like this. A better quality zipper is needed.

This jacket is generously sized in the body, but the sleeves and hem are rather short. Unfortunately, washing it only exacerbated this issue and caused significant pilling.

I have been wearing this wonderfully warm Fleece when I go out to the doctors, library, everywhere. It is a beautiful color of blue and looks much more attractive than an ordinary fleece.

Wish it was better quality. Its very flattering on, but both pocket zippers have stopped working, & arms have developed a huge amount of pills after having been worn only 3-4 times. This is the 2nd review on a product I have written in the last month, after NEVER having a problem in the 40 odd years Ive been ordering from LL Bean. Whats up with Quality Control.

I bought this jacket and initially loved it. But then after about two months the zipper on the pocket broke. I figured it was just a freak thing. I called LL Bean and they quickly sent me a replacement and a label to return my defective jacket. I have the new jacket for only about two weeks when the zipper on the new jacket breaks. While LL Bean will hopefully send me another one, I am becoming very frustrated. A big reason I bought this one over cheaper options was because of the zipper pockets.

I love these jackets. This is my second. Have one a couple years old and wanted a new one in case they discontinue this style! My first is gray and this time got the blue. They are beautiful jackets, can dress up or go casual. I am 511, 150 lbs and a Tall M fits me perfectlysleeves and all. The fit is great, not too fitted but the length is slimming and keeps you warm. Its for great fall, winter (with a warm base layer ) and spring in Montana. Probably a bit heavy for summers. Washes up super well!

I like Beans sweater jackets. Theyve comfortable, stylish, and versatile. The fit is true to size. I have a muted purple one from a previous season. While I very much like the raisin brown color of this jacket, I dont care for the pink trim. I decided to return it.
