This sweater fleece ran VERY small. I was very disappointed and returned it. Normally 3X in Womens are very loose.

Doesn't LLB care what customers want? I hate the logo and never buy something with it prominantly displayed. There are ways you put your name on that are less off-putting, e.g., at bottom of placket. Why not respond to customers' desires?

I was very disappointed that the sweater was not well inspected before shipping. A pocket zipper pull was not attached and I found it in the pocket! A very superficial inspection would have shown it was missing since it was dark colored and the other pocket zipper pull was obvious. I did not appreciate the inconvenience of having to exchange it.

This jacket is great BUT the both zippered pockets have failed. L.L. Bean was great and immediately sent me another jacket once I reported the problem but the second jacket has the same problem. The tiny piece of fabric that prevents the zipper from reaching the end doesn't prevent it doing so which lets the two sides unmatch. This leaves the zipper mechanism on one side of the pocket, So you can't close the pocket anymore. Maybe not a big deal for some but I use it for work. I need the packets to close.

This is the third sweater fleece that I have purchased over the years. I have loved the two previous jackets but this one is a disappointment. The fit is not the same as in the past with very tight arms making it difficult to get the jacket on and off. I purchased the same size as my previous jacket (M).

Great jacket but the white pocket linings were just so cheap and distracting.

I received this jacket last week and wore it recently while going for a walk. The day was mild but breezy. I was wearing a short sleeve shirt under the jacket and sadly I could feel the wind through the sleeves of the jacket. This was unexpected, as even my fleece quarter zip shirts offer more protection than this. Fortunately, I ordered a size up so that I could layer on more frigid days, but was hoping to use it as a stand alone on chilly days. Would not buy again as I was expecting more warmth for the price.

I usually take a Small in L.L. Bean tops, but I ordered this jacket in Medium so I could wear it over a sweater. I was very disappointed to discover that it's so snug in the body it won't fit over even the most lightweight sweater. I can't size up to a Large because the sleeves in the Medium are already a little too long (they come down to my knuckles), and I'm afraid the sleeves in a Large would hang down past my fingertips. I'm going to keep it because the color (field rose) is lovely I have already gotten compliments on it and it's an OK jacket for days when it isn't cold enough to wear a sweater under it, but I would be much happier with it if it were a little less fitted in the body.

After reading the reviews I ordered a size up. Still to small and jacket was not very attractive.

I really wanted to love this sweater. Yet, there's a major oversight on the part of the design team. The pocket fabric on the interior is the color of my grandmother's underwear. So, you have this really pretty blue sweater, but if the zipper pockets are open there's a hint of yellowy off-white color peaking through. If you wear the sweater unzipped you can see the inside bearing the same ugly pocket color. Unfortunate.It could have been so pretty.

This jacket is great but the interior pocket material is a deal breaker. The light color of the pocket makes it impossible to wear the jacket unzipped.

I love this jacket. It's my second one! However, the pocket design must have changed since both of the zippers separated in the first few days of use. Annoying. My older one never did. What changed?!

I bought this about 3 months ago and found the waist to be flaired and top of jacket fits fine. This is characteristic of the LLBean fit for me. I liked the color and warmth, but recently found the fabric to be pilling around the pockets and bottom of the front of jacket. I have had other name brand jackets in the same fabric that are bomber and do not show signs of wear. I probably won't venture into the LLBean catalog again as they are losing their quality.

The petite small was way too large I am 5'2" at 130lbs

I purchased this jacket for a trip to Bozeman. I wore the jacket once and noticed one of zippers on a pocket is broken. I live in Maine and will be exchanging the jacket. I do like it but was disappointed.

I always bought the soft fleeced jacket. I have it in all colors. You have stopped selling them. So, I opted for this one, in Mauve (because I love Mauve color). I returned it because 1) it was too snug for a large regular. 2) the mauve color does not stand out. I didn't like those black spots in them. If you have to make jackets in beautiful colors, please keep it block. Don't add and other color fiber to it. It took after the mauve color of this jacket.

It's a sharp jacket. Two issues, though. When I wear something that has cotton in it, it is very hard to pull my arms out of the sleeves. Short sleeve shirt was fine, but I would like to use this when we're traveling and want to do layers. The pocket lining was a cream color which really stood out with the blue jacket when I have the pocket unzip or the jacket unzip. Having the pocket liner closer to the same color as the jacket would be better.

I found this sweater jacket to be very stiff and uncomfortable. It is on it's way back to you.

I loved this jacket. The color and fit was great. BUT. The pockets are made of a cheap looking, whitish fabric that shows when the jacket is unzipped. Not sure why the pocket fabric wouldn't match the jacket. I returned it immediately.

Purchased in Arctic Blue, love color and like fleece but gave 3 star rating as didn't feel fit was an XS Tall. I'm 5'8 / 125lbs, was hoping for fleece to be more fitted (XS) and longer sleeves (Tall).

Let me start by saying how much I love this jacket. I had to return the first jacket because the zipper broke on the right side. Customer service sent me a new jacket and the zipper broke again (same side). I didn't have the heart to call customer service and ask for another jacket. I wear it with a busted zipper. Three stars for consistent, defective workmanship.

I like this fleece jacket, but it is not cut very full in the hips. The material is very nice and it seems like it will be warm in the cooler weather. I normally can wear a small and it is usually rummy enough in the hips area, but this is cut more narrow than other jackets I have purchased. The medium would be too big in the bust area, so I am not sure if I will return.

The Arctic Blue is beautiful and the jacket fits well. The pocket lining on this darkish blue jacket is cream colored and looks terrible when the jacket is unzipped. To cover up the cream colored pocket liners, I sewed pieces of navy blue over each cream colored pocket liner. The photo shows the stark cream colored liner in the unzipped pocket and my navy blue pocket liner covers. I'd recommend purchasing this jacket only if you are willing to do some alterations.

Great weight for travels. My first trip the left pocket zipper did not work and was off the runner after closing pocket two times. I fixed it when I got home. Second trip the same thing happened.

A little coarse to touch, not what I was expecting. Fit is good, as expected, colors true, but fabric really nothing special. Definitely not soft and snuggly.
