The flannel fabric in this shirt is very comfortable and soft. The Petite Medium size fits me well, with plenty of room for another shirt under the flannel. The sleeves are a perfect length for me, which I appreciate, as some petite shirts have sleeves that are too long for my arms. I am happy with this purchase.

Great for Fall weather.

I have flannel shirts from 2 of LL Beans biggest rivals & have been quite happy with them but the style of this one caught my eye so I decided to order. It is the softest flannel I now own & I will be getting another! Highly recommend,

This is a great hoody and there is plenty of room to have layers underneath the hoody! It is roomy, cozy and cute! I wore my hoody in Cape Breton Nova Scotia with layers the beginning of October! Perfect!

I love this shirt and will be purchasing another. It is comfortable and warm. I love that it zips and the hood is not bulky. It has a flattering shape.

I LOVE this shirt so much that I ordered three more! My first one was the Colquhoun plaid, and I can hardly take it off long enough to wash it. So I ordered a new one in the same plaid (just in case my original gets damaged in any way) and also ordered a Black Watch plaid and a Bean of Freeport Hunting plaid, all beautiful. I like my shirts big and roomy even though I'm sort of a size medium, so I always order large, but I did go for the petite in the last three orders and these work out well. The sleeves are just the right length instead of being a bit long, and the overall length is just a bit shorter but just fine. I always wear a T-shirt or long-sleeved shirt underneath. I live on a farm in western Montana, so I'm outside a lot, and the weather can change quickly. Even on hot summer days the temperature can drop 40 degrees at night, and we get little rain showers that sometimes last only ten minutes. I love hoodies even though I rarely put the hood up. It's nice to be able to pull the extra fabric up around my neck if it's cool or windy, or pull the hood up if it starts to rain. This is pretty much a year-round shirt. It's great for cool summer evenings or as a layer under a down vest or jacket in colder weather. I wear it inside the house instead of turning the heat up. These shirts are just so soft and comfortable! I'm so glad I have four of them so I can wear one nearly every single day. Absolutely 5 stars!!!

This is one of my favorite tops to wear right now. It's very comfortable with a t-shirt underneath. I wanted to get another one that was a very different color, but I think the colors are too similar for me to get another. I wish there was a pastel-themed color so that it clearly contrasted from the one I already have. I love it and wear it several times a week.

We love to go out in the woods with or to events with our Jeeps that are outside events. I needed something for the fall that's warmer than a long sleeve tee but cooler than a hoodie sweatshirt and this is the perfect solution to either wear by itself or with an extra layer underneath! Love that it zips and has a hood if a chilly breeze starts up. Also love it has nice large front pockets to keep hands warm if gloves would be too much. Perfect product and not surprised it comes from L.L. Bean - have bought from them for over 40 years and love their quality and styling!!

I love this zip hoodie. I purchased the black watch. I love the colors, Attractive fit, not boxy. Perfect length & I am short. I have short arms & one roll of the cuff did the trick. The hood is not oversized, just right. Soft, comfortable, perfect for cool fall days. So well made. It's even slimming which is amazing for plaid on a plus size! Other than being a tad big on the shoulders, it fits perfect with enuf room to layer but without being to big. Exactly what I was looking & hoping for!

A great comfortable zip hoodie for the fall and beyond. Body of the top a little wide for me but easily can fit top underneath. I have long arms and the sleeve length was fine. Another sale hit so I ordered a second one in a different plaid. Bean quality, as usual.

I got this after my spouse got one that I liked. I love it. The pockets are great - deep. And it's really attractive. The petite size is nicer than petites usually are, in that it is truly shorter in the body and the arms. Usually even petites are too long for me.

Love this flannel! It's soft, comfortable, and looks great. The hood and zipper make it perfect for a walk in the woods or hanging out around a fire. Nice deep pockets have ample room for keys and tissue. The only thing I would change is the sleeves. They could be just a bit roomier. That one tiny little flaw was not enough to keep me from ordering another one in a different color.

Love it! It's a good thick flannel and a cheery plaid. I ordered a size larger thinking it might shrink, and it didn't. The fit is roomy enough that you can wear a shirt or turtleneck under without being cramped. I love wearing it out to coffee in the early mornings when the temps are in the 50's (I live in SoCal).

I love the feel of the flannel, well made and comfortable. True to size, but I agree with other reviews a little short in the arm length.

Love this hoodie, it is a great weight to use as a lightweight jacket or in the winter to layer with a heavy sweater. Also bought one for my daughter forChristmas.

I wanted an extra layer, warm but not to thick to wear to high school football games. It is just a tad thicker in spots than a shirt but works great under my LL Bean Barn Coat. It has 2 deep pockets and the way they are designed/stictched it leaves 2 larger "pockets" on the inside- great for tickets or emergency cash. The upper sleeves could be cut a bit bigger but a thin long sleeve t-shirt underneath is comfy. I haven't washed it yet so not sure about wrinkles or shrinkage. So far I love it.

I love everything about this top. The flannel is so soft, the fit is great, and I love the hood. Plus, it came in my favorite plaid.

Comfortable fit..stylish...warm! It's a 10!!!

This was for my granddaughter who is very thin but with long arms. The sleeves were long enough to reach her wrists and roomy enough to wear a light shirt underneath. She loves plaid and was very pleased with this choice, especially when she realized it was a hoodie.

Great for that season where you don't quite need a jacket and can't get away with a t-shirt. I bought a larger size anticipating wearing it over a shirt and am pleased with my decision. The dual pocket (outside and interior) is so helpful, and I love having a hood. Highly recommend!

I purchased two of these flannel zip hoodies last year and loved them so much I purchased a third in a new color. It's very comfortable and soft and has enough room to wear over more heavy winter clothes.

I bought one of these jackets last year and loved it so I bought two different plaids this year. Perfect for fall. It's soft and washes and dries wonderfully.
