I usually wear a small, but the size chart put me in an extra small. It fits well, except the sleeves are a little bit short, and it does shrink a little bit when washed-not much though. The quality is excellent, colors are deep and wash well. If you want it to be roomy, or a little large, don't look at the measurements and order your usual size (if it is in stock). I have 5 of these in different patterns because they are so soft and comfortable. Many of the patterns were only available in XS, but I am very happy with them, and didn't want to be swimming in them. I highly recommend these and think they are worth the price-and I don't usually spend the money that these cost, so that says a lot!

Love the color and fit

I purchased this in XL when I was larger. It has been wonderful. I have since purchased another color, and now that I have lost weight am replacing my original with a Large. The colors are beautiful. The flannel, cut, and fit are comfortable. It is great over a tank, or long- or short-sleeved t-shirt. I absolutely LOVE the pockets - two on the outside and two on the inside! The zipper makes it easy to open and close if temperatures vary.

I loved this so much, I ordered it in three other patterns/colors. The shirt fits big enough to have a long sleeved t-shirt underneath. It's great for taking the dogs out in cooler weather, but thin enough that it doesn't bulk up under my coat if an extra layer is needed. I love that it zips, so I don't have to mess with buttons. I've washed them multiple times and the quality is still great.

Thin enough to roll up the sleeves yet warm enough to wear on a chilly day outside with no other jacket?

I bought this for my wife who cannot stand fleece. She likes flannel but it has to be the right flannel. Not heavy flannel but enough to keep her warm but not hot. She likes the length and ability to zip and unzip.

Gift for my daughter in law. Sleeves were too short and too small. Too bad she loved it! Returned.

Love this shirt jacket. This is the second one I purchased. Both are stylish, warm and comfortable.

This was a gift I gave to my daughter (those are her height & weight above), and she absolutely loves it! I bought this for her because she had seen mine and liked it so much. She lives in Colorado and they are always dressing in layers tee-shirt, hoodie, vest, jacket and she says the black & white plaid I bought her "goes with everything else" that she layers with. BTW, these launder beautifully, too. We both love our LLB flannel hoodies!

I love these flannel jackets with pockets and a hood. I first got the Victoria Stewart, then Black Watch, the next year Gray Stewart, and this year Royal Stewart. They are all beautiful. I like them as jackets, they are full enough to wear a t-shirt, top or light sweater underneath. I sized down on the gray one to wear as a shirt with a tank or tee underneath. On me, these fit better than a button up flannel shirt.

This is the most comfortable shirt I have ever bought. I have worn it with both long and short sleeve shirts and it is just as warm as wearing a heavy sweatshirt with a hoodie. Every time I wear it I receive a lot of compliments. And yes I am going to get more colors next fall BEFORE they sell out. Believe me they sell out quickly, so don't hesitate to buy.

I have numerous Scotch Plaid flannel button shirts, including a Royal Stewart plaid. On the monitor it appeared this Zippered Hoodie was overall REDDER than the shirt. Today I put them side by side to compare and discovered two things. First, the plaid is the same but the red squares are LARGER, thus more red fabric. I also compared the red on the shirt vs the red on the hoodie, which I found is on the orange side of red, whereas the shirt was on the blue side of red. I kind of prefer the Royal Stewart plaid of the button shirt, but I checked and apparently I bought that shirt some years ago, when the weaver did it differently. I have the hoodie in Black Stewart, Royal Stewart and Stewart Victoria which is my favorite, each with an appropriately colored LL Bean waffle henley.

This flannel is soft, fits true to size, and the zipper makes it "fun-unique". I received many compliments when wearing it to work (Chaplain in a long term care facility). It is relaxed enough to move and do activities throughout the day without losing shape or becoming too hot. The colors are vibrant and they are very close to what is pictured. Would like to order this top in more colors in the near future.

I bought this for my 16 yr old daughter who likes flannel shirts with hoods. This has a nice quality weight to the fabric and the details really make it something she will keep wearing for years. She has wide shoulders so typically cannot wear shirts from the juniors dept from typical box stores. I contemplated ordering a tall size to get the room in the shoulders, but didn't need to. The sleeves are the perfect length as well, and no shrinkage in the washer/dryer.

This zip up hoody is great. Roomy fit and quality sewing and details. Very comfortable and I recommend this purchase.

I LOVE this hoodie and don't think I will ever take it off. Soft fabric with a really flattering fit. I wish I had seen this before Christmas because every woman on my list would have received one.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this hoodie. I waited for it for months because it was backordered, and it was SO worth the wait. It arrived in July, and I actually cranked up the AC so that I could wear it for a few days...that's how comfy and wonderful it was. I originally got a size L, but I am pretty big in the chest and shoulders, and it was just a bit constrictive in the upper arms, so I exchanged it for an XL. I wear a M in LLBean pants, so I thought a L would do, but an XL is best, especially since it's 100% cotton and will shrink. The details, like leather zipper pull, inside bottom band to stabilize hem, and shirrtail cut make this just an amazing garment, and worth every penny. As with all Bean garments, the stitching is impeccable and I can't imagine it ever needing to be replaced. It's cozy and it looks great with casual outfits, and because I got it in the red plaid (Stewart) it looks especially great at holiday time, though not too much so for the rest of the year. I throw it on over everything, all the time...it's a year-round staple of my wardrobe and I can't imagine not having it! I want the Black Watch plaid one next.

When I ordered this I figured I would wear it a few times on cooler days in Florida. Well if you've seen this years temperatures you will see that I am very thankful to having this perfect addition to my winter wardrobe. Its perfect to size, warm and very comfortable

Very comfortable. Runs a little big with plenty of room for a shirt or light sweater under. I've washed this several times and with a little iron looks new. I love it.

I love to wear this over a T-shirt. I have it in almost all the colors. Soft and durable. I own one from years ago that is still going strong. Nice deep pockets and hood to keep my ears covered when I need to in the fall
