Love the warmth of flannel over a cotton shirt, but never cared for the standard "manly" style of a flannel shirt with the button-down front and collar. This zip hoodie is what I've been waiting for! Reminds me of a cozy sweatshirt with the hood and pockets. Though my normal fit is a women's size small, I wanted to be able to layer over a long sleeve shirt, so I opted to go up a size to medium and it's perfect. Purchased one in the Indigo Tartan and loved it so much, I bought another in the Dress Gordon. Flannel material is not super heavy and shirt looks well-made, so I'm sure they will last quite awhile. Overall, very satisfied.

This is something you will wear every day! Great pockets, totally washable. I received one as a gift and have given 4 more to my friends! I wear it so much my husband calls it my "uniform." Highly recommend.

I absolutely love these hooded zippered flannels. They're more like light jackets than shirts. They're not heavy but when I wear it as a layer under a fleece jacket in 25 degree weather I am cozy warm. It fits well and washes well, too. I highly recommend this product.

Flannel hoodie runs true to size. For me, I love that the fabric is soft and seems to be the right weight to keep the chill off of me and make me feel cozy.

Recently purchased this flannel shirt (I would say lightweight jacket) in black watch plaid. The fabric, construction and fit are perfect! It is warm and comfortable and I wear it over one of my Bean pima cotton tees and has plenty of room to do so. Hoods have always been a favorite of mine and my jackets and coats all have hoods. They are handy if it becomes windy or a rain shower suddenly happens. The pockets are a plus as is the quality metal zipper (no flimsy plastic one that easily breaks). Just love this shirt and I think you will too. Consistent quality is one of the reasons that I have been a customer of LL Bean for years.

Very soft, light weight flannel perfect for chilly weather and can layer over thermal shirt if I need more warmth. Has become my a cozy new friend.

This is my second plaid flannel hoodie. I now have two of my favorite tartans (plaids, that is)! They are well made, very pretty, wash nicely without shrinking, and the relaxed fit makes them perfect for layering. I'm planning on giving a couple more as gifts.

The fit and feel are fabulous! The softness of the flannel is everything LL Bean is famous for.

Great utilitarian shirt/jacket. I have to stop myself from wearing this everyday, because it's the perfect fall layer/jacket, early morning cover to run out the door and feel unencumbered. The pockets and easy non-metal zipper make it comfortable and convenient to wear. It's actually my first flannel shirt, but I mainly wear it as a light jacket here in California. SO glad I bought this, as I initially hesitated at the price. SO worth it.

I have 2 in other plaids & bought this one for my granddaughter for Christmas. I just love them. They look great & are so comfortable. Great for layering.

I was so pleased with this flannel shirt, that I ordered a second. I love the material. Warm and cozy for cool days. You can layer with a lighter shirt underneath. Nicely styled. I especially appreciate that this shirt comes in tall sizes, so it fits my arms and covers my torso.

Soft, easy wash, multi-season flannel. Flattering fit, though I'm between sizes, I didn't find it too boxy (even the roomy size). Pricey, imo. My sherpa-lined version has lasted years, albeit minimal wear, but I'm banking on this one lasting! I now have this in Princess Mary, Rob Roy and Black Watch. Need some new tartans!

Excellent jacket! Love the inside pockets for cell phone and other items. Jacket is warm and looks great!

I did have to exchange this for a Tall XL, as the shoulders were a bit snug with a regular. Once I got the correct fit, I really have enjoyed wearing it! I hope LL Bean will consider offering even more items in Tall sizes.
