Added the Bean of Freeport natural color choice to my collection of Bean's flannel shirts. It's a perfect weight, sleeves fit my petite size and it washes well. I always line dry and have not had problems with shrinkage.The natural color can be worn with pants in the brown color family.

One word - quality. Quality construction (seams finished and reinforced at stress points), quality fabric (not lightweight but not heavyweight), quality fit (not too big, not too small). Got an XL because I don't like snug clothing and it fits comfortably. Soft. Colorful. I will get years of wear out of this - just like all of my other LLBean purchases.

This flannel washes beautifully. It is a heavier material so more outside than inside wear here in Southern California. The color is perfect.

This was my first purchase of Bean's Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt/Hoodie. It has quickly become such a favorite that I have, like others, bought four more! With the zipper, hoodie and side front pockets what more could anyone ask for? On the coldest of days, venturing outside I have not only my coat hoodie but an insulated inner layer from this awesome hoodie. Its design also allows for any type of layering needed- a short or long cotton tee, a waffle knit henley or a warm cotton or knit turtleneck. And, the beautiful variety of plaid combos allows for the under layer to be any color in the rainbow. And, it washes great too. I highly recommend this flannel hoodie. Just know, if you purchase one, you will be hard pressed to resist buying more!

This soft warm flannel hoodie is so comfortable and versatile I can wear it out to lunch, shopping or just extra warmth in the house on a cold winter day. It fit perfectly! Being 5'1" I bought a medium petite and the sleeves and entire fit was just perfect!

This is rhe best plaid hoody I have ever had. I love the full zip. I live in Arizona and it does get cold but you always dress in layers. This is warm but not heavy and easy to take off.

I love this flannel. This time I bought a Large Tall. I'm 5'4", but I'd bought a Large prior. The tall is a better fit, as it is flannel and does shrink up a little when you wash. So, if you like a proper sleeve or overall length, opt for the tall, even if you're a reg fit.

Soft and warm go to for inside an older home. Mine has lasted 5+ years and still looks great. I ordered another neutral color, because I am afraid of being without it. I look female in it.

Wore this shirt as a light jacket almost daily from mid-November through the end of December while vacationing in California. It was the perfect layer over a long sleeve tee or blouse. Just warm enough with a hood to protect when the wind came. I love the pattern (blue Douglas plaid), the softness of the flannel and the ease of laundering.
