This sweater fleece does not fit well especially in the shoulder and head area. When I put it on, it was very snug going over my head. Taking it off was even more difficult; I could not get the top off by myself and needed someone else to help get it over my head. Needless to say it is going back. I usually wear a medium w LLbean tops, but this one does not seem like it was cut correctly in the shoulders or head/neck opening. Kicking myself for NOT having read the 1 star reviews before ordering.

I would love to buy this sweater but won't because I don't need the LLBean label on the outside. This looks like free advertising for LLB that we pay for ourselves. LLB, please leave the labels off your clothes. I won't buy them. If people want to know where I bought this, I am happy to tell them.

I was really looking forward to this fleece. It's hard to find a quarter zip/snap pullover for women that has some weight to it. However, the fit was very off. I normally wear a M in LLBean womens' wear but the quarter snap wasn't quite deep enough and was difficult to get over my head. The worst thing was that the shoulders were about 1.5" too narrow. Although the M body fit me, I felt like the neck opening and the shoulders were a Petite XS. Needless to say, I sent these back.

Very disappointed for the first time in 40 years of doing business with your company. Where's the fleece? The title doesn't adequately reflect the product. It's a knit sweater with a brushed fleece lining. I'm retuning a product. Never did that before. It was probable cheaper for your company to produce an authentic fleece pulllover.

I wanted to love this... I really did. I'm 5'10, 140 lbs with an athletic build and according to measurements a medium should have fit perfectly.. BUT this is not built for women who have any kind of shoulder muscle or wide shoulders because this thing is constricting. I would try a large but the medium was already too baggy in the waist for me. The other problem I had is that the sleeves were too short. Altogether, just an awkward fit, very disappointed.

Great pullover except one of the plastic buttons fell off the first time I wore it today. I wish there was a way I could get just a replacement button since the rest of the pullover is fine. I usually shop exclusively online since I don't live near any store locations but I don't want to pay return shipping because of a product defect. I love this brand but I'm sadly disappointed by the quality.

I did not like this fabric at all and the fit was not good for me. I am old and I have been wearing regular fleece for a long time and I do not like the sweater fleece.

I purchased this after I got the same in the jacket. I loved the jacket so much, I thought this would be great also. Something is not right with the fit on this. It is very, very hard to get on over your head--I even ordered a size larger than normal. Too bad....

I wish I had read the negative ratings before I ordered this. Love the color. Wanted a fleece pullover. As others said: neck opening makes it difficult to get on and almost impossible to get off. The shoulders and underarms are bulky and bunchy. In designing new items add a step which has ordinary people put on the garment. This would never have passed the test.

Love all your clothes, and this looks cozy. But I am NOT wearing a pullover with a giant, green L.L. Bean logo on my chest! Not cool.

I am tall and thin (6'0"/weigh 145);ordered a large (as I usually do with no problems). This sweater is too roomy in the torso and too tight fit in the shoulders. Didn't want to order XL; shoulders might fit, but the torso would be even larger! Sadly I am returning. Material is cozy, but the fit is off.

I've been a regular Bean customer for over 30 years & was looking forward to this sweater-fleece for fall. As soon as I took the sweater-fleece pullover out of the bag, I knew was not going to like it. The outer side of the fabric feels stiff & scratchy, and the shoulders were cut very narrow. I normally wear XS or Small in Bean tops, sweaters & jackets. I ordered a Small so I would be able to wear tees or turtlenecks underneath it. Once I got it on (without another shirt underneath it), I could barely get it back over my head to take it off! I'm very disappointed in the fabrics & fit of some of Bean's clothing lately. Since I have free shipping & returns with my Bean card, I'll continue to shop with Bean, but I'm definitely sending this item back!

Purchased this garment last year to wear during the cold winter instead of the big cashmere sweater I hang out in! This garment is weirdly SHAPed and does not breathe! It is heavy feeling when on and is not something that has a lot of comfort. Rarely do I buy something at llbean that I hate, but this thing ranks right up there. I have no idea where they got this fabric! I have lots of fleece items from Bean and they are soft and comfortable. This thing is like cardboard! It has no redeeming features that I can think of and I even, after writing all this, should probably send it back because it really does leave a bad taste in my mouth with respect to the company.

I was surprised at the quality of this sweater. The body was too tight and the sleeves too long. I had never received such a poorly constructed item from LLBean. Perhaps this was just an odd one and the rest are okay. Back it went.

Odd fit. Would definitely order one or two sizes up. Was accustomed to LLBean advertising at waist with same color stitching. I immediately took a seam ripper and removed the brightly colored LLBean patch near my face. You will need to pay me if you want me to advertise for you with a patch like you've placed on this item. Is cozy and warm and the fabric is nice but the fit and patch make it very disappointing. Care tags are not in English. LLBean has been more disappointing than satisfying lately. :(

I wanted to like this sweater but back to LLBean it went. The first thing I noted was the difficulty putting it on--I had to struggle to get it over my head. The neck opening should go down at least another inch or so. But if that was hard, getting it off was even harder! This garment is not as stretchy as your usual fleece. The other disappointment was the exceptionally boxy fit. There is no "drape" to the fabric, giving the shoulders a very square look. I wear XS in other LLBean clothes; I considered exchanging for an S so that I could [theoretically] get it on and off but then it would have been too large in the chest. Hip dimension would probably be too small for a pear-shaped figure, which I am not.

I ordered this pullover fleece sweater. Beautiful color, but it smelled so bad I had to return it. I could not get the smell out of my room for days. It was made in a factory in Jordan. What a shame. What a waste.

I had to return the first one because it was the smallest medium top of any type that I have ever bought from Bean. The replacement in large arrived today and while the size is better the smell is a deal breaker. The chemical odor is so strong that the room continued to smell like it even after the sweater was returned to the plastic bag and shipping bag. Customer service apologized and said to send it back, exchange it,or I could wash it and then send it back if the odor remained. Fair enough, but I would like to know the cause of the odor before keeping anything.

I was excited to receive this sweater in the mail but as soon as I opened the package, I couldn't believe how badly the material smelled! I am not sure if it is treated with something for flame retardancy or something like that but it is so chemically, it is gross. I'm shipping it back. And, the sizing was weird. Very boxy. I'm hardly 5'4" and 120lbs and a small seemed too tight in some spots and too big in others. Not good.

I was disappointed with this purchase. Bought in medium, The arms are too short and the torso is too big. The torso bunches up and its not fitting in a cozy or flattering way. The buttons are hard to snap. The neck is a little too tight too when the buttons are snapped. Just a weird fitting top overall! Dislike, sending back.

This item has a really bad odor. Will need to return.

I wore the shirt once and wash it ! Coming out of the dryer the bottom hem had fell apart. Returned it and had them ship me another one hopefully this one will not fall apart!
