Loved the fabric but a few details led to its return. I'm 5-6" and felt it could be longer. The fit was pretty boxy, especially in the shoulders. The snaps didn't work, some may have been defective. Overall, thought it was gorgeous and well made. Sad to send it back.

I have been admiring and looking at this pullover since they were first introduced and finally got one. I REALLY wanted this to work for me, but not so. As mentioned in some other reviews, the shoulders are on the narrow side. It was a hassle getting the sweater on and off. Like other reviews noted, going up a bigger size would just make it too big through the middle. I loved the blue green color, but with great disappointment, it's going back.

The fabric and color of this pullover are attractive, but actually pulling it over my head and shoulders is difficult. The placket is short and the shoulders are tight. (My head is relatively small and my shoulders are average width.) It's comfortable once it's on, but I probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

I purchased this sweater a month ago and have washed it 2-3 times (on cold, hang dry), and it has already begun to pill. I expected a more quality item from LL Bean and am really disappointed. I do like the shirt and it is nice and warm. As for fit, I am 5'6" and bought a large, as I like my tops longer. The large is roomy and allows for a t-shirt underneath, but doesn't look sloppy.

I purchased this in a Medium in hopes it would fit me. I am 5' tall and weigh 120 lbs. The pullover was warm and cute but was longer on me than I was hoping for. Had there been a petite size, it would have worked for me. Unfortunately, I will be returning.

The xlarge is not really what I am used to with LLBean. Extremely cozy but should be more roomy and not so stiff. I usually get large or extra large but can only wear this x-large with a summer t-shirt--not so good colder months. Perhaps it will stretch with wear.

I would have given this pullover 1 star except the blue-green color and the knit is absolutely beautiful. However, the fit is way off. It was cut quite narrow but the shoulders were too big and arms too long as well as the length of the garment. Not at all comfortable. I was sorry to return it.

I bought this in-store in October. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is a bit snug, so I also suggest ordering a size up. My biggest issue with it is that the hem in the bottom came unraveled after two washes (washed per the instructions). This wasn't a super easy fix for someone who barely knows which end of the needle is which, like me, because there is elastic around the bottom and sleeves to keep the chill out (which is does admirably). I wanted the sweatshirt for a trip, so I didn't have the time to get a replacement sent out and ended up paying to have the hem put back in. I've been disappointed with LL Bean's quality lately.

Lovely colors, and very nice looking top but I didn't like the gray trim on both the colors I got: Green and purple. Matching trim would look so much nicer. The main problem is the head opening is too small, so I had trouble getting on and off my head and shoulders. My husband had to help get me out of this. And I also did not think this was as warm as I had hoped. Went ahead and sent back already.

I originally ordered this fleece in medium, based on sizing chart this should have fit me. It was overall too tight to wear over winter clothing so gave to my teen daughter who loves it. She is tall and thin and looks fine on her. I then ordered the large for myself. While the quality of the items seems great the fit on me was not flattering. The boxy cut added 10 pounds to my shape especially the middle where the pocket it. I sadly returned this item.

I loved the fabric and the color (teal) and the basic styling, but this top runs very small in the hips. Usually the large in the slightly fitted sizing fits me nicely- roomy enough but with some shape- but this one was way too tight in the hips. If I got an XL it would be way too big on top. Had to send it back.

I have purchased many wonderful items over the years from Bean and will continue to do so. This particular one fit well in every area but the bust. I am not planning to enhance my breasts any time soon so I sent it back. Should fit well-endowed ladies fine. I found the material a bit stiff as well.

I thought this would be really soft, but it wasn't; so I returned it. It also ran large - I bought a medium, am usually an 8 - 5'4", 130#. It was made really well; just not what I was looking for.

Heavier, thicker and stiffer than I was expecting. Would have preferred a lighter weight and softer feel.

Bean's Sweater Fleece is an excellent product. It is made very well, the material was exactly what I was looking for. Soft & Warm! I am generally a petite size medium, But with Bean's I can often purchase misses size & the item will fit fine--just a big longer. In the case of the Sweater Fleece---the length was 1/2 down my leg and the body of the garment was way to snug--I purchased a misses medium. I loved it so much I brought it to my tailor to see if it could be hemmed---not worth it!! Very upset I had to return this item---I have searched for a sweater fleece that will fit---I am still on the Hunt!! Possibly Bean's might consider petite sizing in this item, Frankly it fit like "Signature Style" It should have fit like a Bean's item---which I have come to love for quality, value & choice.

I like this fleece alot but it is way too long for me. I weight ~125 and am 5" 2".

I'm 5 feet 3 and 125 lb, and I ordered M. I had some trouble trying to pull it over my head. After I put it on, I noticed the shoulder seams were almost two inches inside of my natural shoulders. I could not possibly wear it comfortably, so I'm debating wether to return it, or, exchange it with size L. I'm 125 lb., and I usually wear size 8. I think the sizing is way off.

After only wearing 3 or 4 times, the hem pulled away on the right side. You know, where one pulls it down. I think it could be sturdier stitching but I do love the pullover so I ordered another one in exchange. Here's hoping the new one is better.

This garment is very warm and a beautiful color. Sadly the fit for me was poor. Too tight in the chest and shoulders and sleeves too long, so I figured a larger size would not work. I am 147lbs and 5'6". I ordered the medium. Length was good.

I waited quite a while because this was on backorder. So when it finally came, I was anticipating really liking it. But it fits oddly. It is just not flattering. The small fit well, but it just looks strange because of the way the bottom is made. So, sadly, I am returning it. Also, the collar and placket are in this strange color and material. I got the teal and it has this nasty grayish color material around that area. The color of that material does not go well with the teal. So back it goes. Too bad, I was very much looking forward to wearing it.........

I was given this style LL Bean sweater as a gift in another color, and decided I would purchase one for myself in a new color, as I really liked the style and fit. The color Boulder looked brown on my own, and several other devices, but I decided to confirm before I made a purchase. The rep I CHAT with went away to get info, then returned and confirmed the sweater color named Boulder was brown. I was so disappointed when it arrived as it is green, confirmed by a dozen other people. Not one of us saw brown of any shade, it is green. Now I have to return it

Lovely color, nice material. The fit is just all wrong. The pullover is way too tight in the shoulders and upper arms, otherwise fit is ok. I tried Medium, which is usual size and it was small generally, but especially so in shoulders and upper arms. I returned that and ordered a Large, expecting that to work, but it was also too small in the shoulders and upper arms. I returned that and bought a Men's pullover in size Medium. Lots of rigmarole to get to a satisfactory outcome. First time I had such challenges with the fit of a fleece from LL Bean.

Kinda small wish it had been a size bigger but I think it was sold out

Fits on the small side especially through the waist area.
