Just what I needed so I purchased two - a dark green and a charcoal grey.

The material is great. Not a real fan of the "slightly fitted". Good mid weight.

Size true to listed, looks nice, comfortable and layers nice. Not warm in the wind. Brought XL fit well with room to layer. Would recommend to buy but note and layer for the wind

Bought a larger size for a more comfortable fit. It's not very wind resistant. Otherwise very satisfied with the look and feel.

I ordered this after getting the vest in the same material. Brand new it is a great fit and I was very satisfied. The vest is not holding up that well after the better part of a year, but I thought it was worth purchasing the jacket. If it doesn't hold up well I will return it within the 1 year return timeframe.

I get a lot of compliments when I wear this jacket. It goes with everything and is a nice layer under light overcoats. However, the midsection is too big. I will more than likely take it in for alterations. I am not a skinny guy, nor am I overweight. However, it still fits loose on me. As a result, I am not confident it locks in body heat as well as it could.

Bought two of these for my husband. The fit very well, look great, and are comfortable. The only issue is that the arms and front are pilling up already. Easily cleared up with a pill removing brush, but surprised it happened so fast.

Pro: works perfect under my windbreaker for laying up , i also like the rear zipper 'flap' to stop the breeze. Con: nothing, really. Improvement: lower pocket zippers should open 'up' so when the zipper crawls down the pocket is secured ; cord pull 'gather' around the bottom hem would be nice to keep the breeze out ; left chest pocket needs to be a touch deeper for my Pixel cell but it does [barely] fit. -BV-

I usually get Tall and XL, I like the fullness. But Tall in this top is extra extra long. Had to return for Regular. The Tall sleeves are 3-4" too long. It is warm and comfortable and good for year round use.

This zip up fleece is heavy and warm, It is advertised as waterproof, but it is not wind proof, thus 4 stars. The zipper is nice so it can be unzipped when the temperature rises.

This fleece looks great (the fleece is on the inside, with a knit look on the outside) but isn't very warm. As a middle layer it is perfect, but as an outer garment, too much wind blows through the fabric to keep you warm. I wouldn't buy it again, but I'm enjoying its good looks and fit.

Bought for my husband. We both liked it a lot but the sleeves were too long. I was surprised since Bean size large is great for him without being too long, etc. We will have the sleeves tailored to size. Hope this helps.

I like the jacket however if you want to keep warm, put some kind of a windbreaker over it. The cool breeze goes right through it.

Due to the slightly fitted style, I had to return it to exchange it for a large. I haven't received the large yet, but will update this review when I do.

It feels very good and looks good. fits well except that it is a little long in the sleeves, and I wish if it comes in slim fit.

The sweater seems to be well made, is a nice weight, and fits properly except that it is a little long in the sleeves. In a dress shirt, a 32/33 sleeve fits me perfectly so the sleeve must be about 34 inches. The only real gripe I have is that it is a bit difficult to get the zipper started because the material around the bottom of the zipper is very tight to the zipper. It could stand some play there.

This jacket is exceptionally warm compared to an old fashioned knitted sweater. It is not water resistant but it's wind resistant. I have been using it mainly indoors but it is certainly good as an inner layer in winter conditions, or an outer layer in cool "shoulder seasons" where you'd wear what used to be called a spring coat. It has pockets, a helpful feature. Size is slightly large. My being tall presents a size problem. A large would be floppy loose on me but my arms would stick out of the sleeves using a medium. The medium tall works very well, just slightly large both in length and girth.

Sleeves are a little long for me. But, it's still the good quality that you expect from LLbean.

I bought this sweater jacket and really liked the fit and the Hunter Green color was excellent but I was very disappointed in the fact that the LLBean logo in bright yellow and a different green than the sweater stood out like a sore thumb! I bought this to wear as a casual jacket for work but it definitely should have had a tonal logo, if any, rather than the one that was on it. In my opinion, it really didn't do justice to the beautiful dark hunter green color of the sweater. Would buy it again in a minute if the logo was the same color as the sweater.

The cuffs should be elasticized, as they were years ago. A return to yesteryear would be good.

It is nice for fall days and inside wear. It keeps you warm.

My husband likes the layering capability and variety of colors. He wishes the collar was not so tall; he has an average length neck, and unless he wears a collared shirt under it, it rubs on his neck.

It's a great jacket/sweater/fleece, no doubt about it. Quality seems excellent and the style concept is great. HOWEVER, I do not know what is going on with llbean's sizing lately. Large items seem way to big (my height and weight should be a large), so I went with medium tall but as with many of bean's other "slightly fitted" items the shoulders are just too wide. I've had similar problems with flannels and button down shirts from bean. Too bad, since the quality is so good and this is literally the only brand I have this problem with.
