These shirts are so soft and comfortable on a cold day. I gave my husband the tall XL which is big on his 6'3" big boned frame. He still wears it. Then I gave him another large tall and it fits much better. It's still very roomy. These would be good for layering with bulky under shirt for a colder climate than ours. I say true to size in the review because the description says it's a relaxed fit. Although I think a normal large shirt would be too small for him.

Soft flannel, heavier than some, but not bulky...in the sweet spot! Have bought another one since.

The 2nd one of these "Morgan Plaid" I have bought, 1st was a lady's for me and love it, the 2nd was a Christmas gift and he loved it and actually put it on and wore it home. They are warm, comfortable and among my favorite shirts, I have 2 other plaid flannel shirts from LL Bean that are in my favorite category. Can't beat the Bean quality and great service.

My husband loved it. Bought the medium tall - he has long limbs. It fits him well - fitted without being tight. Usually he wears a large but since this is a looser fit, I bought the medium. For reference, he is about 6’ and 165-170 lbs. The indigo tartan is a beautiful color. The flannel is nice. Not too thick or thin. Great to layer for milder winter temps or for chilly temps in fall/spring. Wish they made this in a heavier chamois flannel for the really cold winter temps.

Excellent Quality nice soft flannel. Purchased regular Large. I'm 5' 7"". I purchased because you offered free shipping during the sale. In other cases I wanted to purchase one or even two items but the total would come to 74.98. Two cents short of free shipping. So. I purchased nothing.

Bought Indigo Tartan color - good-looking, washes and dries without shrinking or wrinkling, warm enough to lower that thermostat!
