Nice to find a product that never cuts corners and provides a consitent value. It's so soft I get more hugs!

I have been purchasing LLBean flannel shirts for years. Father, son, brother & friends. Made well, nice plaids. Only misstep is they do not last as long as they used to.

Great shirt: super soft but runs a little big (although not as big as the other "traditional fit" shirt I bought. Not sure why sizing is so inconsistent between shirt labeled with the same sizing and fit...

Good quality and cozy. Would have liked an xs option as the small was a little too big for my daughter(this is a man's shirt). My daughter loves it anyway.

Attractive shirt, warm, but I think that it may have shrunk slightly. Due to my size shrinkage Is a problem. Keeping the shirt.

I like the feel and look of this shirt. I don't know about the fit but it is a Christmas gift for my son. He hasn't tried it on yet so I can't comment on the fit

Great shirt, warm and soft. Sleeves are nearly 2 inches longer than the other shirt I bought. There's an extra button on the cuff so I tightened it up. That helped

Have owned a lot of these flannels. My only complaint is that with age the sleeves will shrink a little. Great to wear and wears well.

These flannel shirts are made of very soft, comfortable flannel and are well made. If I had ANY criticism(s), I would say the tailoring (fit) for an average build male is a little on the large side through the chest area down through the waist, and would fit a rather rotund individual without any problem. The shirts definitely have a lot of room in terms of fit. Also, the sleeve length is probably a bit too long as well. I realize these have to be made to fit the vast majority of the population, so this is understandable. The price point of these (approx $50) seems a bit high for an imported garment NOT made in the USA. They DO wear very well and have proved to be a durable garment, however, and I will continue to buy them. I just wish L.L. Bean could find a way to have them made HERE in the USA.

Really nice flannel shirt but the sizing runs very big. I wear XL in all my shirts and this one was like a dress. Sent back for L.

The shirt needs a rear collar button because after a few washings, it will start to roll up.

I have about seven of these flannel shirts and love their look and feel. I have had trouble, though, with their shrinking out of size. I am going to be more careful to dry them in the low heat setting from now on to see if this helps.

Th shirt is every thing I felt it would be. The colors, the quality of the fabric, style. I never worry about the quality of the items I order from LL Bean. Our whole family laughs about being LL Bean customers. Every summer when in Maine we make our trek to Freeport.

These and the chamois cloth were kind of a tradition in my family in the 1950s-70s. Then everything went overseas. It's still a nice shirt, but $60 USD by the time it's shipped and tax applied is a bit much for me. This shirt/pattern I think may be the one Chevy Chase wore in "Christmas Vacation"

I thought the thickness of the shirt would have been higher.

Shirt has attractive pattern. Fits okay. Sleeves are a bit long, but use of second button on wrist makes fit okay. This shirt replaces an older LL Bean flannel shirt (of which I own several) which wore through at the collar. I was struck by the fact that the flannel is a significantly lighter weight fabric than my other LL Bean flannel shirts. This is a trend that I find at other clothing sellers too; a sign of the times. Because shirt fabric is thinner I often need to wear a jacket over it on cooler days where before the shirt was sufficient to keep me warm on cool days. LL Bean still markets itself as a traditional seller of quality clothes, but using thinner fabric but still at a premium price is disappointing.

I like the shirt, the arm holes where the sleeves join the shirt are a little tight, though.

Finally Bean is offering a few (very few) shirts in size 3XL again! Bought 2 shirts for my husband - Blue Buchanan and Rob Roy (I'd have called it red/black buffalo plaid but whatever). The fabric is soft, which is how DH picks out a flannel shirt, and the fit is good. The fabric is not as heavy as the chamois shirt which is not yet available in size 3XL. Consider that a hint, Bean. ; )
