First flannel shirt I have ever brought the did not shrink or fade when washed. Husband said it is very comfortable.

Very comfortable shirt. Bought a second one. Great colors and soft on the skin.

Like the color, fits well as the other previously bought flannel shirts of this style. However the material appears to be lighter weight, not as thick as in the past. Previous shirts are all 5 stars.

Good old-timely flannel . . . Sleeves seem a bit longer . . . Or my arms seem shorter!

Quality is good. Sizing was off. Based upon the measurements listed, I needed an XXL. When it came, it was way too big. I returned it for an XL, and to be honest, that was a little big for me as well, but I kept it. The return service was smooth, although it did cost me the $6.50 shipping fee.

Bought for my husband to add to the other 3 flannels I bought previously. He lives them in the cold weather.

I own this shirt in almost every color it is available in because I like it so much. Very soft and comfortable. I easily get two to three years of hard use of them.

Heavyweight flannel is bulky but great for cold, winter weather.

I have had a problem with ll Bean flannel shirts in the past. I've had to return many of them because the size is completely wrong. What I consistently received was "long" size when the package says "regular". I complained and called but the problem was never resolved. This was several years ago so I thought I would take a chance hoping the problem was resolved. Well, it was "sort of". The length of the shirt was OK on my recent purchase but the sleeves were still too long but I decided to keep the shirts because I tend to roll up my sleeves most times so I can make it work. Hopefully someone will read this review and solve the problem. I'm not holding my breath!

The plaid orange color looks and fits my son great. (The blue was sold out in his size L) The material is just thick enough for our warm CA weather.

I've bought clothes from L.L. Bean for 50 years because of the good value. The shirt feels good looks good and fits right but, it still seems a little lower quality than they used to be. The material is a little bit thinner. The buttons are a little smaller stitching is not quite as tight. Maybe my memory is too golden but it seems like they have gone down a bit

Fits well and very comfortable. Husband says it keeps him warm on these real cold days.

XXL fit better than XL so had to return the XL and exchange for XXL

Have several of these flannel shirts. After one or two launderings (in cold water), they loose much of their loft. Otherwise, my go-to cool weather shirt.

My husband really liked the shirt, but it fits much longer in the body and the sleeves than his other larges (not by LLBean). Sadly, I had washed it, so we can't return it.

Good fit. I wish the sleeve length was another 1-2" longer for the tall size

This flannel shirt feels wonderful and is well made. I ordered a Medium Tall, which is my normal size. The length for the body and arms was great. The fit for the body was great, but the arms were tight when I had a long sleeve t-shirt or turtleneck underneath, so I returned it to get a larger size. The tightness in the arms surprised me - I do not have muscle-builder arms at all.

This shirt fits my large husband very nicely. I hope it stays soft thru a few washings. It was a bit stiff after the first one. Time will tell.

Really like the bright plaid. Looks better in real life than on the web. Like the button down collar. Fit is roomy. Main dislike is the thinness of the flannel. Also has only one chest pocket.

Appears to be well made, but why don't you match plaid at side seams on this quality of shirt?

This is a good looking shirt, looks well made, and fits my 6' 1" slender husband well, if a little bit full in the torso.

It is a well made shirt. I just wish the buttons didnt need to be so thin making the button holes needing to be slightly small. It makes it very difficult for those of us who are elderly to button the shirt.
