I have worn a lot of chamois and flannel over the years. These shirts are the best I've found yet. The Royal Stewart pattern is a dead ringer for my Pendleton Wool shirt of the same pattern, only the LL Bean flannel is washable and more comfortable to wear.

The fabric is pleasingly soft.

When I washed these shirts, I figured that they would need ironing, but when I got them out of the dryer, they still looked new( as if I never washed them.) The mateerial was still very soft & color just as bright. I very much love how the button hole area is sewed, no more searching for the buttoms.

If every flannel shirt I owned had a LL Bean label on it, I would be a happy camper. They fit comfortably and last. They maintain their shape and the buttons don't fall off.

This is not the first of these that I have purchased and will not be the last. I enjoy the comfort of this shirt more than anything else.

I was somewhat reluctant to order this shirt, thinking that it would not be warm enough for an Idaho winter. I have been proven wrong. It is perfect for the weather in Boise, Idaho.

We bought one last year for my Dad. My kids wanted to get him another one this year because when the give him a hug their face gets to touch the very soft fabric!

Yep, I'm a picky-shopper, and value is critical. This flannel shirt feels so soft when wearing it whether I'm cuddling with my husband, or using it for a short robe in the chilly morning! The classic plaid is perfect for Christmas, too!

This was my first time ordering this shirt for my fiance. The second it came out of the bag we were in love with it. The flannel is soooooo soft and the fit is fantastic. He is 6'2" with monkey long arms so I got him the XL Tall. The sleeves and shoulders fit perfect but the torso was a little long as he will not be tucking it in. We will have to hem it. The hard part is usually finding arm lengths that fit and this shirt did the trick!

The flannel is a great medium-weight, and super soft right out of the package. Plaid lines up precisely, well-sewn, and the perfect weight for combining with a sweater on very cold days!

The fit is perfect, the quality is great and the price is reasonable. Like always, LLBean products are a good buy.

I have been buying from LL Bean for serveral years now and LOVE their products (even though a lot of it is made out of our Country). I especially like their "Slide" shoes and flannel shirts. you Shipped the wrong size on one of the tree Flannel Shirts I ordered. I order XLT and you shipped a regular XL, I sent it back with a request for XLT.

Flannel shirts come in a variety of weights. This one feels perfect to me. It warms and comforts with a graceful drape. In other words, not too thick and boxy. I look forward to putting it on.

Given their reasonable cost, these flannel shirts look great, are extremely comfortable, and provide welcome warmth. Others have commented on their looks and they appear to be durable, but I don't have the wear cycles to prove it yet. You can't go far wrong with these shirts.

The Scotch plaid flannel shirt I ordered from L.L.Bean has met all the tests so far. The price was right. Delivery was prompt. The shirt is colorful. It fits well. The only thing that remains to be seen . . . and I won't know this for quite a while . . . is whether it lasts well. (Some shirts that I bought 20 years ago, not from L.L.Bean are still very useable but others that I bought only 3 or 4 years ago (again, not from L.L.Bean have already shown serious signs of wear, so I've learned not to make final judgments too quickly.)

I bought this for my brohter and he loves it, but he did have to return it for a smaller size. It runs big. Otherwise, a great shirt!

This shirt is a Christmas gift for my husband and I let him try it on early to be sure of the fit. It fits him great and he loves it. So much in fact that he wore it out that night and I had to grab it back to wrap it. Love it!

Have bought Bean clothing for everyone in the family for over 30 years. Good quality and well made. Especially like the flannel shirts - they don't wear out for many years.
