I have several of these flannel shirts and love them. I have been wearing them for several years and enjoy the feel when I have one on. They wear very well, fit just right, and have good color retention. The feel of the fabric is soft and warm. I wear them all day and hate to take them off. I often receive compliments on how nice they look and other Scots ask if they are available in their clan (I'm a Wallace). On warmer days I wear them as a jacket and they look good that way. They really have everything going for them and I can't see any drawbacks. You will be doing yourself a favor if you buy one (or more) of these fine shirts. Wear with pleasure!

This shirt is perfect for a cool day outside or to wear around-the-house. The flannel is warm but not heavy. I have three of them - and wear one every day in Fall and Winter!

Ordered my husband a scotch plaid flannel shirt & the color chosen is very nice & the fit was perfect. He liked the weight of the fabric & it washed very well with no wrinkling. I did take the shirt immediately out of the dryer while still slightly damp & hung to finish drying. Perfect!

I've been wearing LLBean flannel shirts since I was a child. Nothing beats their quality. They are worth every penny. They are soft, and get softer as you wash them...and they last for years...or until you outgrow them...in which case you give them to your younger brother, cousin or a friend. Any man would LOVE this shirt!

This is the best flannel shirt I own. Have several of em, and I've been buying em for years; way before the hipsters ruined it for everybody and caused flannel prices to soar and being backordered/sold out cause of them. I refuse to buy flannel from any other store. You just wanna wear it all day. You will absolutely love the shirt.

The shirt is super comfortable - not too thick, very soft, and plenty of room. I bought the tall xxl as I'm not petite, and I need the shirt to stay tucked when I wear it that way. Great fit! It's warm, but not so thick as to be hot when I'm moving around a bit. Very nice.

I purchased this flannel in Buchanan, and am so glad I did! I saw this pattern in a commercial and fell in love with it. I was hoping they had the same pattern in Women's, but unfortunately they didn't so I opted for a Men's size Small. It is a little big on me, but is so incredibly comfortable that I've been wearing it a ton since purchasing it. It washes well too, just follow the instructions on the tag. Highly recommend!

I have long arms and this shirt fit well from start. Washed it and put in dryer and the sleeves didn't shrink nor did the shirt. Best I've had!

These flannel shirts are my "go to" shirts for casual days when the weather is cold. I have a few different colors and love them all. They're super comfortable and fit great. Others have suggested that they may run large, which could be true. But I'm 6' tall and weigh 180 pounds, and I always order the traditional fit in my usual large and they're perfect. Its somewhat of a loose fit but its a flannel, people! Its not a shirt that you want in a slim fit IMO. This is a shirt with an easy, laid-back vibe that is perfect for layering. I can't imagine wanting it in a tighter fit.

This shirt fits perfectly and isn't too long so if I don't tuck it in it still looks good. I would've given 4.5 stars but since that isn't an option I gave 5 stars. I got the Dress Gordon and it is much darker than the picture on the website. Not a big deal but I may have chosen a lighter color had I known this. Nonetheless the fit and quality are excellent.

These are fantastic shirts. I have three of them and they wash well (I hang dry 'em and haven't had any issues) and, most importantly, they keep me warm during the cold Buffalo winters. Also you can't go wrong with the classic designs - they're never really in style, but they're never really out of style, either. But beware of awkward sizing! If you're going to buy the traditional fit, be sure to "size down," which means that if you usually wear a large, go for a medium. I'm 5'9", 225 pounds. In other words, I'm an average height fat guy who wears large or x-large shirts. But when I ordered the large traditional fit, I was swimming in it and looked totally ridiculous. It looked like I was wearing a box. In fact, it was so ill-fitting that trying to shrink it by putting it in the dryer for three hours wouldn't have worked. So I returned it for a slightly fitted medium, and that was perfect. Same deal with the field coat. Totally classic and durable jacket, but I could fit a space station in the large. So size down and enjoy!

A go-to shirt anytime it gets cold enough for long sleeves. Lighter-weight fabric than the chamois shirt; between the two, I'm good to go all fall and winter. Wish it came in the chamois's deep spruce plaid!

I bought the Gray Stewart flannel for my hubby last Christmas. He LOVES the fit and feel of this shirt! It is super soft and very pretty. He gets lots of compliments on it at work. I will be definitely buying more this year!

Love this shirt! I bought it for my dad for a gift, and it's so soft, the fit is great on him, and the quality is beyond any other flannel I would purchase elsewhere!

I was looking for a genuine flannel shirt in Blackwatch Plaid. My old one simply succumbed to age (nearly 17 years!) and wear. This shirt is the real deal. Heavy, soft, real-person-fit plaid. It is warm but not sweaty. Just a well made, comfortable shirt. Oh yeah, it also looks pretty nice too.

Medium fits me well, and the colors are more subdued, not garish and loud like other scotch plaids in the series so it blends better with most chinos and jeans. It also seems to have a smoother finish than the very dark green plaid that is a lint magnet - returned two of those. Not recommend that darker plaid though it looks great for a few minutes until the link starts showing up. Wish they offered flannel shirts in a light gray color with subtle patterns

This is the third of these flannel shirts I have bought from LLBean, and I love this one just as much. Soft feel, great warmth, great fit, colors true to pictures and excellent quality/durability. I've bought flannel shirts from other companies and these are the best, overall.
