These are fantastic shirts. I have three of them and they wash well (I hang dry 'em and haven't had any issues) and, most importantly, they keep me warm during the cold Buffalo winters. Also you can't go wrong with the classic designs - they're never really in style, but they're never really out of style, either. But beware of awkward sizing! If you're going to buy the traditional fit, be sure to "size down," which means that if you usually wear a large, go for a medium. I'm 5'9", 225 pounds. In other words, I'm an average height fat guy who wears large or x-large shirts. But when I ordered the large traditional fit, I was swimming in it and looked totally ridiculous. It looked like I was wearing a box. In fact, it was so ill-fitting that trying to shrink it by putting it in the dryer for three hours wouldn't have worked. So I returned it for a slightly fitted medium, and that was perfect. Same deal with the field coat. Totally classic and durable jacket, but I could fit a space station in the large. So size down and enjoy!

A go-to shirt anytime it gets cold enough for long sleeves. Lighter-weight fabric than the chamois shirt; between the two, I'm good to go all fall and winter. Wish it came in the chamois's deep spruce plaid!

I bought the Gray Stewart flannel for my hubby last Christmas. He LOVES the fit and feel of this shirt! It is super soft and very pretty. He gets lots of compliments on it at work. I will be definitely buying more this year!

Love this shirt! I bought it for my dad for a gift, and it's so soft, the fit is great on him, and the quality is beyond any other flannel I would purchase elsewhere!

I was looking for a genuine flannel shirt in Blackwatch Plaid. My old one simply succumbed to age (nearly 17 years!) and wear. This shirt is the real deal. Heavy, soft, real-person-fit plaid. It is warm but not sweaty. Just a well made, comfortable shirt. Oh yeah, it also looks pretty nice too.

Medium fits me well, and the colors are more subdued, not garish and loud like other scotch plaids in the series so it blends better with most chinos and jeans. It also seems to have a smoother finish than the very dark green plaid that is a lint magnet - returned two of those. Not recommend that darker plaid though it looks great for a few minutes until the link starts showing up. Wish they offered flannel shirts in a light gray color with subtle patterns

This is the third of these flannel shirts I have bought from LLBean, and I love this one just as much. Soft feel, great warmth, great fit, colors true to pictures and excellent quality/durability. I've bought flannel shirts from other companies and these are the best, overall.

Buying and wearing the Bean Brand for a long time, Fits great, Soft, No shrink like the cheep shirts, I'm 5'9 195 and the Regular fit is best for my build....just wish they had more colors and better stock, sells out fast at times.

It was the only shirt available of the shirts, on line, not sold out or should I say on back order. The fit is perfect and the color looks great on my husband. The fabric is soft and I know they wash well. He loves the shirt and I will probably order more at a later date. I know I'll always get good product from LL Bean so I never worry about buying things from them. I will and have recommended LL Bean to friends and family.

Absolutely awesome shirt-washes well and continues to hold it shape with getting softer each wash! Wish it came in more colors as I have them all. Very comfortable and a really nice fit!

I bought this as a gift for my husband. We both agree that it is extremely well made. The fabric is very soft and soothing next to the skin.

I bought this flannel shirt for my hubby for Christmas with a pair of the classic cut jeans. My hubby is 6' and 195 pounds and he wears a Large. He LOVES the look and feel of this shirt. It washes well and if you take if right out of the dryer it looks great. It is a little roomy but that is okay. He says it is very warm and has gotten alot of compliments on it at work. I highly recommend it.

All the tartan plaid shirts are wonderful - both for their fit, comfort, softness of the flannel. But being a "Lindsey" (8 generations back!) I cheer whenever the Lindsey plaid is in the line up. Its red and green plaid also makes a wonderful Christmas holiday shirt.

I have bought shirts from LL Bean before - but this one required a 'review'. It started with buying it - as the customer service representative went above and beyond in insuring a prompt and accurate delivery. The fit was perfect and the colors were bright and cheery. But the best part of the item is the feel of the item. It is so comfortable to wear. Will be buying another one soon. pntgpmery

The shirt was perfect.The material was not to heavy or to light. It was just right for me.Also I did not like some comments iv seen people make about this great company so my wife and i decided to purchase a few items. Great warranty

I got the shirt in the slightly fitted size and it fits perfectly. Not only does this shirt look great, it is very comfortable. A winner!!!

This shirt is made of quality material, the cut is comfy, and wearing this is a snuggy thing!

No shrinkage when washed "cool" water, not as large as Chamois Shirt purchased at the same time, but fit was still good.
