My husband now owns 5 of these shirts. He wears them to work at the lab. If his past behavior is predictive of the future, he will wear them until they are rags, insisting that they are "His favorite shirts." They are soft, sturdy shirts in interesting plaids.

My husband has worn LL Bean flannel shirts since he was a kid. That's a long time. And they are one thing that has not been made cheaper, adulterated, or "improved" for the worse. They are warm, comfortable, handsome, good fitting, launder beautifully and last a good long time. I can't imagine what more I could want. _Well, OK I do watch for sales.

My husband likes the feel of these shirts next to his skin. He already had the gray plaid so I ordered the blue & green plaid. It is pretty dark, but, he didn't care for the other colors that were in stock. Nice shirt.

The color, fit, texture and comfort suit me perfectly. The shirt washes well. I buy these shirts often.

If you can afford it, buy from Bean. They make the best winter wear! Their flannels are very soft and comfortable. Good fit.

I ordered the Scotch Plaid Finish Shirt, Black Watch and would like to say if purchasing for young men who are lean, purchase the slightly fitted version of this shirt. We ended up with these in Black Watch in a 'regular' large and were gifted a slightly fitted large for our young fellows and fitted is the way to go.

These shirts are true to size, and because the quality of the flannel is high, remain true to size after washing. This portuguese flannel makes for a lasting product that will be with you for years. I know, mine are. The assortment of plaids is imaginative and attractive.

It's been a while since I had a flannel shirt, but I love the feel so I ordered this one. It feels great! It is mid-weight, definitely not a thin flannel and fits as described. I am 5'10'' and 168 and frequently order LG because I don't like tight fitting shirts, but I read the reviews and ordered a Medium. After a wash and run through the dryer, it is perfect, even with a T-shirt underneath. It has the appearance of a quality shirt ....very happy with the shirt.

Beans flannels are the best - fit great, wash well. If the weather is bad enough to wear flannel, this is the one. I get one for my husband every Christmas.

The title says it all. I have several LL Bean flannel shirts and haven't worn any out. They are made with a heavier flannel than ones you can buy in the big box stores. The elbows wear out on the thin ones but not flannel shirts from LL Bean

This is my sixth or seventh flannel from LLBean. These, along with my lambswool v-neck sweater, are what I wear every day during the cool winters of coastal northern California. They are super comfortable and get more so with age. The colors stay true for years and the plaids are very good looking. If you're looking for a long wearing, great looking, comfortable shirt this is the one you want!
